This off shoot for Mr. Mercedes was a really good read. Unfortunately, at times King's voice is lost within Finders Keepers. The parts where he shines through are exciting and very creepy with his usual flair. I think most fans would give it a 5 star rating. However, it falls short for this fan. ...more

3 1/2 stars. Kudos for the allusions to J.D. Salinger and "The Catcher in the Rye," but I'm put off by the supernatural elements in what's supposed to be a crime/detective novel. Either King wants to branch out and try new genres or he doesn't. Make up your mind, Steve. ...more
