For solid help for surviving your children’s troublesome adolescent years "Why don’t you trust me?" "Why do you tell me what I can’t wear?" "Why do you always correct my manners?" If you’re hearing those kinds of questions from your children — or if you know that you’re going to — you need this informative guide. Educator James Stenson explains here how you can keep your children’s adolescence from being dominated by rebellion and conflict, and how to give your children clear moral direction. He even includes a question-and-answer section to help you plan for troubles before they arise.
I was given a bunch of religious books from my grandparents when they moved, otherwise I am sure I never would have happened upon this book. It was SO good! A super short book full of surprisingly insightful wisdom on thinking through how you want to parent through the all too important (and everyone is warning me - challenging) teen years. I really enjoyed reading it!
