First Mountain Man Series: Book 2 … It says on the cover it’s called Blood On The Divide, and so does google, but Good reads has the other books that aren’t graphic audio called Return Of the mountain man. I can’t find where it was ever called that This book isn’t connected to the series at all which is a bummer.

I really like this series, especially the graphic audio version! It’s done well w/ a great voice actors. The series itself is super fun and very much an old fashioned western. It has really bad guys who like to hurt women and children but there isn’t description of it but it’s mentioned I suppose as a way to make it ok for Preacher to kill the bad guys. He lives in the wilderness and is a super fast sharp shooter. He gets along with the good Indians as they’re called in the book so it’s accurate for the time. The way women are depicted are for the time as well, 1830’s.

But overall the first two books are easy to follow and quick to get through.

New side characters for this book so it isn’t necessary to read the other first or worry if it’s been a while between.

He helps wagon trains (lots of families with their wagons and horses moving across unsettled country wilderness) hoping for a better life, they don’t know how to fend for themselves against outlaws and bad Indians. Preacher unwillingly helps to keep them from dyin.

There is talk of trains but none built yet.

It’s pretty funny.
