With Dances Under the Harvest Moon, Joanne Rock returns to Heartache, Tennessee, and the Finley family. This is Heather’s story and what a story it is. Heather is about to leave town to pursue her dreams, but after spending some time with sexy Mayor Zach Chance, she begins to realize that maybe her dreams don’t involve someplace other than Heartache, after all. There is a lot going on in this little book. Rock takes on some very serious subjects as she leads Heather and Zach to their HEA: chroni ...more

Anyone who's anyone and knows me know that I love Joanne Rock. As an author or both sexually enticing romances to heartwarming romances and anything else in between.
Dances Under the Harvest Moon falls into the heartwarming romance with a touch of mystery thrown in.
Heartache's Mayor realizes that if hes going to make a move on the woman he's always wanted its now or never.
Heather Finley has always put her families wants and needs before everything,
I love this series and I don't know why I waited so long to pick up book 3. Reading this book reminded me again why I love this series and why Joanne Rock is one of my favorite romance authors. Dances Under the Harvest Moon is a wonderful read. It's about small town life, following your dreams, wanting justice, dealing with a chronic illness and online bullying. It blends all these things together perfectly and it makes for a great read.

My Heather & Zach

Delightful, lovely, enchanting, refreshing, heartfelt...Dances Under The Harvest Moon is an amazing read!!
The story grabs you since page one, it keeps you turning pages until you realize that it's over. The plot is perfect, excellent written, full of wonderful (and some not much) characters, you have family feuds, secrets and a little mystery.
I adore Heather, she's AMAZING, really, the struggle with what she wants and what she must, and with her "condition" it's heartbreaking,

A Heartbreak, TN story that ofcuses on Heather Finlay. She's about to skip town to pursue her dream of becoming a country music star, but two barriers stand in her way: her recent diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis, and the discovery of the current mayor, Zach Chance, of possible wrongdoing by Heather's late father, the previous mayor.

What's a woman to do who's always taken care of others, especially her bi-polar mother? Give up her dream? Leave her family to deal with the fallout of the accusati

Heather Finley has spent her life taking care of others. Her sick mother, her siblings, residents of Heartache, TN, etc. Now at age 28, she has a big audition opportunity and just wants to go after her dream of being a country music singer for once, but circumstances keep getting in her way.

First she is struck with a sudden illness, then she hangs around town longer so her sister Erin's wedding is perfect, then something from her Dad's past pops up, and last but not least, she's falling in love

I received an ARC of this book from Tasty Book Tours in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book's release blast promotions.

I followed this series from the very beginning. The first book was good, but I felt like it was too simple, and there wasn't really anything that stood out in the story. When I read the second book, I enjoyed it more than I did the first one. I liked the teenage love story that was injected into it. This third book, though, I think this would be my favorite in

WOW! This book is one to read! Heather is a woman I could definitely see myself becoming friends with if she was real. She is such a strong woman and when she finally has a chance to follow her dreams she is struck with an illness that throws her plans off course. Then add in Zach (SIGH) and you will fall in love with this story. Zach is strong and driven, but has strong beliefs and values. He has been through a lot of pain with his family, but yet he carries on. He has always cared for Heather, ...more

I simply LOVE HEARTACHE, TN. I just can not get enough of this small town! I have fallen in love with every character I have read about since the first book. I knew I would love Heather and Zach's story just as much. These book had a little suspense, Lots of Love, compassion, willingness to give to others, and of course secrets. Joanne Sure knows how to write and I haven't found one of her books that I wasn't absolutely thrilled with. I strongly suggest you start this series today if you haven't ...more

I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this book, it was captivating form beginning to end. The way the author writes makes it all feel real. These characters were amazing and the story line was incredible. I can not wait to read more from this author, she is incredible. Heather and Zach are perfect for one another. Now that she is trying to chase after her dreams, and seeing that Zach has feeling for her, sh has to make a choice of which one is more important. Wh

A tender sweet romance, a reminder even though our plans for life, get railroaded, love will get you through. Life isn't perfect, but love can be. I loved this book and as much as I loved Heather and Zach, I also fell in love with Megan and Wade, and the intrigue kept me on my toes and the challenges of young love brought me back to my high school days.
