I confess I am not much into erotic books, but I have read a good handful including the first book in the series of 50 shades of Grey. So I will leave you with that for now. (It's not that I don't like these types of books, I am just more of a fantasy and horror kind of gal.)

Let's begin!!! Now, I have told you I don't normally read this genre, however, I am glad I took the time to explore this book. K.c. Rice's writing style is beyond my expectations in regards to this specific genre. I suppose

Erin's Book Reviews:

Kaycee was a woman from a broken home whose marriage was a fairy tale come true. But Kaycee has a secret. She met someone who makes her heart and body alight with fire. Mason makes her feel things she never thought she'd feel before. Kaycee must decide between a husband who has stood beside her and saved her from an abusive home for a man who made her realize everything sh

I was given this book for an honest review....

I enjoyed the story. It is something different than a lot of the stories out there.

Kaycee meets someone, Mason, online. At first I was against this story. I don't like to read about "cheating", but thankfully Kaycee's husband turned out to be a jerk and she leaves him.

I would have given this story a 5, but I felt that it was all over the place. I had to really follow along to keep up, which is okay, but this was really everywhere. Between the relatio

Kaycee is tore between two men. She's married and loves her husband but Mason is and has everything she's been looking for. She soon falls in love with Mason. What about her husband. Yeah well he becomes very abusive. She's tired of it all. But can Mason save her or be there for her. Or will she be all alone.

I received this book for my honest review. I absolutely love this book. Kaycee is one tough lady. She proves it over and over.

Recommends it for: Everyone
K.C. Rice has shown excellent growth as an author in this, her third book. Kaycee's Tattered Spirit is about a young woman who has developed an erotic attachment to a mystery man. It details how she struggles with the conflict of marriage vs. the possibility of an illicit relationship. The story pulls you in and allows you to experience the feelings as Kaycee feels them.

I felt a connection with the story from the very beginning. I identify with both Mason AND Kaycee, being one who fell for someone online myself. K.C. keeps the story twisting so you stay surprised from one page to the next. I'm looking forward to reading K.C.'s other work!

Loved this story.

I loved the story and how kaycee started to find herself. Not allowing others to dictate her. While it took a little time. She found her voice. Npw its up to her to follow her dreams

I didn't know what to think going in. This was such a interesting read. So different from the rest. I got to admit I was really draw in from the story line and had to see where these characters where taking me. This was unique and I did enjoy it. KC Rice did great feeling a different story and bringing different characters. I would recommend this. I'm glad I gave this a chance, and hope other readers do too.

A Virtual Romance

This stories involves the lives of three main characters two male and one female. Kaycee who is married to Shane, her rock for many years of marriage. Then it all begins to unravel.

The author’s use of the internet as a vehicle to introduce the second male character Mason is inspired. It is relevant in today’s society how romance can blossom over a limitless distance. The passing of messages and the odd naughty picture creates an environment for love to grow. Mason quickly become

Arc provided by the author. This book was an interesting and enjoyable read and I have to say plays on some very real situations which can occur during a marriage. Kaycee has struggled with abuse, illness and had to fight to recover. She married her college boyfriend and things have been good but lately she's felt like she can't be herself. Kaycee has made some online friendships and the one she's built with Mason has brought out feelings she didn't think she could have. Although she loves her h ...more

I was given this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Have you ever read a book with a love triangle? Have you ever read a book with a twisted love triangle? Well I just did and it's Kaycee's Tattered Spirit. In the beginning you have this heartfelt care for Kaycee and what she has been going through. And then she meets him. The stranger behind the computer screen. Kaycee wonders if it could be this easy. Could she really care for someone just by talking to them online? And what

I was very drawn into this story and the intensity of these characters. . Kaycee has not had an easy life and just when she thinks all is good she ends up falling in love with a man she has never met and who is not her husband.. Mason has built walls around his heart but somehow this woman he has never met keeps breaking them down. . After admitting they have fallen in love with each other and promising to make it work all hell breaks loose in Mason"s life and he avoids Kaycee trying to protect ...more

love you but have never met you. WTF?

This story captivated me from the beginning. To fall in love with just msgs a naughty picture here and there. In today's world what Kaycee goes thru happens more and more. Mason just saying his name I get goose bumps. The turn of events is interesting. I want a love a desire like theirs. Can't wait for whats next.

This is my first book by K.C. Rice and the story itself is great. I loved plot of how the story develops. One issue I have is there are grammatical errors. I would love to see the story go through another editing to make it outstanding. But, without the grammatical errors in mind I love the characters and their personalities. This story has so many layers of truth throughout it. Things that happen to married couples all the time. You can fell Kaycee’s pain, sorrow, happiness, guilt and love thro ...more

Real life situations

I really loved that the author used real life situations that people can relate to in her storyline. I absolutely love how Kaycee finds her voice by the end and realizes that she can do great things on her own. I really wanted to give this book a 5 star rating but I really disliked the repetition amongst chapters that was not needed. I was also a little distracted by the not so great proofreading job that was done, it, however, did not effect the story itself. Otherwise, it

I loved this book. I was hooked from the first chapter. When I first started this book I thought for sure it wasn't gonna be something I could fall inlove with, but I was totally worng. Kaycee is a rolemodel, I would love to be more like her.

Kaycee is torn between 2 men. she loves her husband but Mason is everything she has ever dreamed of. I am usually not in to cheating, but soon her husband becomes a huge jerk and Kaycee finally get sick of it.

Kaycee's Tattered Spirit

Wow! What a read!
My first KC Rice book has blown me away.
This is the kind of book you start reading and can't put down.
Kaycee has had quite the life all ready at her young age.
But now a new hot as hell chapter is beginning.
Can't wait to get stuck into the next book and see where this is going ....

I dislike rating a book so low, but this one...

The "story" is nothing more than badly-written sex-scenes strung together in a way I simply didn't believe. Worse, they were repeated. It's a pity: I think the author had a good basic idea.

Ordinarily hot and steamy romances are not my favorite genre, but this one was so well written, and drew me in from the begiining to the end. The central character a young woman named Kayce is torn between two lovers- her seeming stable and secure loving husband and a man she met online has become involved with. They are at first sexting each other until she wants to end it and he won't take no for an answer and comes looking for her. It's a great book with a complex characters, and I really enj ...more

I was excited when I received this book for honest review. The idea of woman falling in love with two different men is an exciting premise, at least for me it is.

Kaycee is young woman, who is a cancer survivor and lives with her husband, while everything seems to be perfect to the outside world, she feels controlled and caged by her husband. When she meets Mason online, while getting some research done, they seem to have instant connection between them. This gives the reader hope for Kaycee find

This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review. This book was good, but I had some trouble with it. It repeats the same conversation in two different chapters in the others point of view is repetitive and un-necessary. It's not needed to repeat the exact same convo.

I struggled with the characters. Characters weren't developed. You feel immediately rushed in making it hard to develop feeling or attachment to characters not knowing much about them.

With that being said about the charac

Gifted a copy in exchange for honest review:

The synopsis gives the reader a glimpse on what happens. One woman. Two men. A triangle that will end with someone hurt. This is a twist to the "You've got mail" movie where internet connections develop to more. Except she is married and longing for the man she is having an extramarital virtual affair with. Can't wait to see what happens with all parties involved. The author definitely knows how to keep a reader's attention.

I love that there is a back story on Kaycee and what she went threw before the book started. I like Mason and he has a past that we don't find out about until towards the end of the book.
I like that Kaycee grows so much as a person threw out the book.
The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 star review is in 2 parts of the book they repeat the same convo but just from 2 different POV. For me its repetitive and unnecessary. It takes me out of the
