After being raised from infancy in Boston, Mass., Noria (a.k.a Norah Lukens) has no idea what to expect upon entering New Cobbogoth, where she never would have guessed that paths of light can make you vanish; doors can lead to realms both near and far; myths and legends are actual history; a mere kiss can seal two souls as one; and, of course, a stone is never “just a ston ...more

When I read Uncovering Cobbogoth last year, I wasn't at all sure what to expect, and I dang sure didn't expect to love it. But love it, I did, and I (very) impatiently waited for the sequel. And I can say, now that I have read it, it was oh so worth the wait!

The mythology of the Cobbogoths that Hannah has created is one that I am very in awe of. The world-building, the culture, everything that she has created for this series blows me away. Her brain works in marvelous ways, and I am so glad t

I loved the first book in this series, Uncovering Cobbogoth, and was excited to find out the second book was out! Once again, I immediately fell in love with the cover!

Noria is now in New Cobbogoth and is sent to meet up with Lylend on her own. She is given a few things to help her and instructions on when and where to meet him. She's upset and feeling abandoned (understandably). Things don't go as planned, though, and she's taken captive. There are twists and turns along the way to get her to t

It has some flaws, but I think that the flaws are made up for by the fact that it's extremely creative. In my opinion, it's thousands of times better than Divergent and all that other YA drivel all my peers melt over. I think that it might appeal to you more if you're a Mormon--lots of the themes and world building and mythology seem to be derived from LDS doctrine--but I think anyone looking for something new and interesting in the Fantasy genre should give Cobbogoth a chance.

It can be predicta

**I received an e-copy in exchange for an honest and fair review. Thank you!**

As with the first installment, Uncovering Cobbogoth, there's a mountain range of potential in The Lemorian Crest. The world of New Cobbogoth is every bit as creative and enthralling as I'd hoped—and more—and combined with its unique history, mythos, and bits of legislation, it's nothing short of phenomenal. Clark's world-building is easily her strongest suit. Although I didn't feel the book lived up to its full potenti
