Clean romance lovers --- Add this one to your to read shelf!!

I’ve been a Sheralyn Pratt fan for 5 years. I first read her book City of Angels back in 2010 and loved it. Her Rhea Jensen series soon became one of my absolute favorites. I loved the snarkiness and humor and have been waiting for the final book in that series to be released.

I had the chance to meet Sheralyn last year at a Conference in Provo, UT. At that time I begged her to finish the Rhea Jensen series. She’s had valid reasons why

This was a different kind of chaste romance than Jennifer Peel's work, mainly because the lack of sex was more of a timing thing than a trait of any of the characters. Indeed, Grace starts off the book in a relationship that was explicitly sexual—as in discussion with her eventual ex included talk about sex as a regular part of their relationship. So it's chaste because the book ends as the relationship solidifies into something the readers know will last.

And it was a solid read. Excellent chara

Grace is a beautiful, sassy, Latina woman and Ashton is a laid back, outdoorsy, athlete and their differences are just enough to help them engage in an intriguing banter day after day on their radio program. I absolutely adored the banter! These two are quick thinkers and know just which buttons to push to keep things interesting, without going too far. The subtle attraction felt more like a sizzling chemistry at times and culminated in a kiss for charity. Only a boyfriend stands in the way.

Ok, honestly....I stayed up waaaaaaaay too late reading this one last night. Ha ha ha! But I couldn't sleep anyway since we've had the lovely tummy bug going around at my house, and I was tossing and turning from it. Sooooooo instead of laying in bed wide awake staring at the ceiling(or walls) I put my awake-ness to good use ;-)

I was hooked from the get go! Grace and Ash were just so much fun to read about. Their banter on their radio show, Battle of the Sexes, was just too fun! I fou

I'm so excited I got to read this book! There was a bit of pre-buzz surrounding it in my book circles so of course it was on my radar. I was told when I signed up to review this book that I wouldn't have that long to review it. A week, I think. Ha. I didn't even need a day!

This is the kind of book that just makes you keep reading. There is no putting it down, there is no conceding to sleep or children or dinner making. So, pick up this book when you have plenty of time to read it through or you

I've been reading this book for 5 full days...feels like longer, I got to 27% - but I made the decision to DNF. I have a really really good book up next that I'm itching to start, LOL! That may have played into it!!

This book is cute, story was interesting, I just got bored waiting for the "click".......waiting for the characters to connect. I gave up! I started to ponder how this made it on to my kindle since I get like 85% of my books from friends reviews!!! One look at the cover it felt youthf

First off, isn't that cover gorgeous?? Love it!

Anyway, ever since I first found out about this one I couldn't wait to read it. I've enjoyed Sheralyn Pratt's suspense series and was curious to see what she could do with a contemporary romance. I was not disappointed. This was a fun read! Be prepared to get sucked in and unable to stop!

Grace and Ashton are co-hosts of a radio program, "Battle of the Sexes," where they discuss and/or argue about issues that come up between men and women. Grace has been dating Phillip, a chef who owns his own restaurant, for the past three years but there is chemistry between Grace and Ashton that keeps their fans guessing at their real relationship. Things just get more heated when they are approached to share a public kiss for charity.

I heard a lot of hype about this book before I started read

I could not put this book down!!! Another 2:00 am finish for me :) Grace and Ashton are both strong, compelling characters that made me invest in the story from the get go. There is something about the attraction lurking beneath their emotionally-charged banter that takes the chemistry to a new level. They are both maddening at times, but what shines through is the compassion and caring they have not only for the friends and family they are close to, but for their listeners as well. They each ta ...more

I really enjoyed this one. Clever, fun, and a little bit of heat. The plot was clever and executed well. I adored the battles between grace and ash. Characters were well written, though I didn't care much for Grace. A few plot points bothered me. And I didn't care for the innuendo, discussions of sex, and infidelity. Knowing this is an lds author, I feel the story could have been stronger without worldly aspects. (Several times I was taken out of the story bc of this). That being said everything ...more

4.5 stars. Sheralyn Pratt is a new author for me and I enjoyed this book so much I was either up late at night reading it or listening to it during the day so I could multitask. Radio show hosts Grace and Ashton have opposing views on almost every topic, which makes for witty banter and heated discussions on their afternoon show "Battle of the Sexes". Their listeners love the show, but even though it's been on for 2 yrs and it's the highest rated show in its time slot there's a good chance it's ...more
Sparks fly in this cute romance. A little risqué for my taste, lots of Innuendos but clean overall.

Ashton Miller is a jock who loves outdoors and avoids all social media; Grace Vasquez is a smart cultured Latina social media queen. They couldn't be more different, but together they host the radio show "Battle of the Sexes". People tune in to experience the chemistry and banter between them!

Grace is the other half of a power couple. She has been dating Phillip, a well-known chef who owns his own restaurant, for 3 years. Ashton is so much more than he appears to be on the show. I loved getting

Ugh. I LOVED this book until about 3/4 of the way. Maybe half way. I could not stand grace!!! Holy cow was she shallow!!! All she cares about was looks. Oh and wearing stilettos on a 3 mile hike?!?! Seriously!!! The chemistry was amazing but I think ash was selling himself short! He deserved someone who liked what he likes. Man. I really can't stand grace. She was annoyed he wore jeans all the time and wanted to change that?!?! Either accept him for what he is or walk away. Gah I think I will be ...more

I have so many words I want to use to describe this book: amazing, hilarious, touching, captivating. And even then, these four don't do it justice.

Ashton and Grace are my new favorite main characters. The humor, the emotions, the banter, it was everything you'd like to see in a romantic story. Neither character overpowered or outdid the other. They truly complemented one another.

I ranted, cheered, cried, and did a happy dance as I devoured this book in one sitting. I would strongly recommend thi
This was a fun story. Nothing too deep, just a fun clean story, but yes they do talk about sex but there is not a sex scene in the book. The main characters start out with shallow characters but as you grow to learn about who they are you really end up liking the hero. I thought Ash was pretty amazing and I worry that stories are so focused on creating a great hero they forget to build up the heroine. Does this girl like kids does she want a family? What are her values? You end up not learning t ...more

SQUEE. Such squee, I can't even. This book left me doing doing a weird little goblin dance of joy and puffy hearts. This is a great opposites attract romance with an AMAZING one-sided/unrequited love (or is it?) that just GUTTED ME and made me turn into a jellyfish. A JELLYFISH.

While I tagged this one as a closed-door romance, there is PLENTY of chemistry and heat between Grace and Ash. I love their dynamic, and I also like the way Sherlyn Pratt manages to amp up the plot and tension (especiall
This was one of those books you wish you had all day blocked out to just read this clean contemporary romance with fiery sparks. The chemistry between the heroine and hero without even touching was off the charts. This was also filled with lots of supporting intelligent side characters.

Ashton the hero is an outdoor and environmentalist journalist who has an ongoing segment on television and does the radio show “Battle of the Sexes” with the heroine Grace. He also is an amateur athlete (volleybal

Grace and Ashton love to debate each other on their radio program Battle of the Sexes. Grace is independent and sure of herself, while Ashton loves to rile her up with a distinctly masculine point of view. However, their radio show is now on the bubble, so Grace and Ashton need to try and do something to keep the show going. At first it involves simple things like interacting on social media, but then agree to kiss for charity. A kiss between frenemies seems harmless, but is it really?

Cute, cute, cute, cute, cute. There's the review in a nutshell. This book is stinkin' cute!

Grace and Ashton are co-hosts of a popular local radio talk show. The premise is a "he said/she said" format. They argue about the body image, cupcakes, etc. Pretty much anything goes on the show as long as they can keep up their hilarious banter. The tension between the two is very high, the problem is that Grace can't see how much their flirtation can be. She clings to her boyfriend as a saf

Loved this one! The banter and wit was great. A quick read full of laughter, romance and fun characters. Ashton was awesome--hilarious and swoon worthy...and I liked Grace well enough (although I forgot she was Latino until she would mention it). I'm glad the boyfriend factor didn't drag on unnecessarily. But Ashton made the book. The constant banter and Instagram post battle between Ashton/Grace had me laughing. And they had great chemistry!!

Grace and Ashton host a radio show and are polar opposites, she is an outspoken social media specialist and he loves the outdoors. Their on air "relationship" has a flirtatious quality but Grace has a boyfriend and Ashton is in a relationship, so it just remains friendly between them. As a fund raiser, they agree to kiss for every thousand dollars that they raise and of course the audience wants them to kiss, so of course, they kiss.

This is my first story from this author. But I will be finding more of her books to read. Ok, so I love this story!!!! I was annoyed at first, Phillip this and Phillip that. But it only took 5 minutes for that to change. This is a great read. I couldn't put it down. I love Ash and Megan. Esme is great too!!! I like grace's spunk and the fact that she says what she believes. I won't lie I got a little mad at her. Ash is amazing!!!!! I wish he were real! I think everyone should stop and read this. ...more

I basically crushed on Ashton this entire book. I'm just sayin'...

Ashton and Grace are on a radio show called "Battle of the Sexes" where they debate things every day. Ashton has loved Grace from day 1, but Grace has had a boyfriend for 3 years. But big things are happening! & a kiss for charity changes everything!
The entire book was fun. The banter between Ash and Grace was super adorable! Grace was saucy and sassy and strong. Ashton was athletic and hot and REAL. Such a super fun read!!

Really realllyyy enjoyed this. The ending was kinda rushed, I wanted to see reactions!
But that scene... the phone call from that mother... wow....
Fun, contemporary romance with a happy feels ending. Clean, secular romance.
