With no one to trust, not even each other, restoring The House that Hustle Built proves to be a formidable challenge.
Nisa Santiago came bursting onto the literary scene in 2009 with her debut title, Cartier Cartel. The book garnered rave reviews and left her readers wanting more. She followed up with the sequel, Return of the Cartier Cartel – which turned into a national bestseller. The Library Journal declared that Santiago’s sequel, [Return of the Cartier Cartel] “Will keep readers hooked to the last chapter.”
Born and raised in Brooklyn, and now living in Harlem, the author is moving at full speed with her writing endeavors. Coined the Duchess of Hop-Hip lit, Santiago humbly admits, “I’m just grateful to be doing what I love as a career and not just a hobby.”
Her latest novel, Bad Apple – The Baddest Chick is slated for an October 2011 release date. The author emphatically states that her decision to start a new series instead of penning part 3 to Cartier Cartel was a brave one. “My readers love Cartier and they wanted more.” Santiago wants her readers to know that she has so many stories to tell and shows no signs of slowing down. Dirty Money Honey is an anthology with her peers, Erica Hilton and Kim K., Melodrama Publishing’s new trinity of authors.
I could not wait for this book to come out. A great story line. I can wait until part 3. As always Nisa Santiago is on her book game. I recommend everyone to read her books, promise you will not be disappointed. It just keeps getting better and better
This book was really good it start right where book one left off from. It took me a minute to read it but I’m glad I did. This book was good it definitely kept me guessing like who did what and who was going to get who. I can’t wait to read part three. Great job Nisa Santiago
Oh boy is all I can say as Perla is up to her same old antics. Now that she has hit rock bottom, she has become more desperate than ever. As usual, she comes up with a different hustle to keep food on her plate and maintain that lavish lifestyle she craves. Along the way, she will still have enemies lurking behind her to make sure she ends up six feet under. Also, a familiar face from the past surfaces and Perla finds herself living the life of a well kept queen. Even though she is afforded this life , thoughts of Cash never leaves her mind. What will Perla do when it comes to loyalty vs love well I guess you have to read and find out. I will definitely read part three to see what Hassan has in store for his queen. Job well done.
Another page turner. Love this series! Cash is still no good always out for self. So glad when Pearls and Hassan got together but she still feel for Cash bs. What Pearla did to Roark was wrong the person she should got was her mother (Poochie ) she is a piece of work. What's going to Pearla when Bimmy tell Hassan about her and Cash.
Excellent read. Didn't see Hasaan getting locked up happening but I did figure that Cash and Pearla still cared for one another. Already started reading part three can't wait to see how this ends.
It is so much action between these pages. This book picked up exactly where the first one left off and it was another page turner. Looking forward to reading part 3.
I brought part one and two at the same time but I didn't really care for part 1 like that...the only reason I read part 2 was because I had already brought it. But OMG I'm soooo glad I read this one....This book was off the chain with so many different people trying to kill those two it was a mess....I already know part 3 is going to be everything in life. I can't WAIT!!!
I thought Nisa cranked the action waaayy up in part 2 of this page turner! Cash & Perla kept the drama going non stop as characters--friends & foes came into scenes to cause chaos...Highly recommended...Bring on part 3!
