E. Clay's Fade to Black is a fast-paced, uplifting story of two friends, Mike and Clay, torn apart by an incident in their teenage years. Based on a true story, one of the men, Mike, suffers a traumatic brain injury, and it is up to Clay to help him through the amnesia he experiences. The book explores their connection with childhood friend Connie, creates realistic relationships with Mike and Clay's families, and ends with a dramatic courtroom scene.
