“So I just might die a virgin after all. That’s what sucks about the end of the world, you just don’t plan for it and once it’s upon you it’s too late. It’s been a few weeks since I’ve had time to actually write anything down, which sucks because more has happened in my life in the past three weeks than it has in all my seventeen, (soon to be eighteen) years. So I’m going to give you a quick recap, because my diary is totally a living breathing thing and really cares…not. Basically we are on the run from Lorsan, the dark elf king, while also looking for the Book of the Elves, which he stole (butt head), while at the same time attempting to shut down the sale of Rapture, a liquid drug the dark elves devised to enslave the human race. If you ask me their goals are a little lofty, but then nobody asked me, and therein lies their problem. But our problems don’t end there. On top of trying to get Rapture out of the human realm and taking out Lorsan, we also have to rescue Cassie’s parents. Apparently, there’s a dark elf who is delusional and believes Cassie is his Chosen reincarnated. So naturally, he thought kidnapping her parents would win her heart. Loser. What happens to love notes and flowers? Anyways, now you’re caught up, roughly. The point is, life is about as jacked up as it can get at the moment. I would like to be able to give some Braveheart-worthy speech and say that we totally got this, but honestly, I have no idea if we can pull this off.” ~ Elora
Hello, Readers. My name is Quinn Loftis and I am lucky enough to call myself a novelist. In 2011, I self-published my first novel, Prince of Wolves with no expectations, other than my friends and family might purchase the book out of pity. Now, several years later, with 30+ novels and counting under my belt, Prince of Wolves had been downloaded over 1 million times. Though I was hesitant at the time to submit my work to the world for their scrutiny, I'm so glad I did. It made my dream of making a living by telling stories a reality.
I'm blessed to share my household my wonderful husband of more than twenty years (who also co-writes with me on occasion), three beautiful sons, a French Bulldog, and an oversized tabby cat. I love hearing from readers, so if you have any questions about the books or my journey, don't hesitate to hit the 'Contact Quinn' in the menu above. Thank you so much for taking a chance on my books.
Finally!!!!!I have waited for this day that I would check the beautiful Quinn Loftis's Goodreads page and there would be an update on the third Elfin book!!! Not only a synopsis but a awesome cover and release date? Whoop whoop! I cannot wait to see my faves Elora and Cush ( that girl is one lucky half dark elf)!! Before I drool myself into eternity I have to say that I hope that *SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT CAUGHT UP ON FIRST TWO BOOKS , that Cassie's parents are okay! This just seems like a problem that Trik and the gang don't need right now! Hello!!! Rapture is still running about!! And the whole thing with Elora's mom and Tony is a little bit weird! I mean I'm all for happy endings and such and to each their own, but her true mate died and while she should be happy, how could it be with someone else beside Steal? Also Tony is young, but then again you could say age is just a number. Basically, I'm all coolio beans with them all lovey as long as it's not just so everything raps up nicely with a bow and the readers are presumedly happy. If they get together it has to be because it makes sense for them to, right now it makes no sense! But anyway I'm just glad we are blessed with this book! Thank you so much Quinn for getting me hooked on this and the Grey Wolves! Best books ever!
Quinn, you are a delight and it is always a pleasure to read one of your books! I had the privilege to Beta read her newest book, "Surrender". This book is packed FULL of love/drama/action, all my favorites! We have waited for this book right my friends? Well, you will not be disappointed as we catch up with Cassie/Trik, Elora/Cush and the gang. So much is going on in this book that I don't want to give away anything but I will tell you that if you enjoy Quinn's books then you will LOVE this one as well. She does such a fantastic job with taking her readers on an emotional journey. What? Will they make it? Huh? How are they going to get out of this? Is there going to be a happy ending?! I LOVE this because I never know how Quinn will resolve all these questions. So you my friends are in for a treat to see how Quinn will answer the questions listed above. Do yourselves a favor and buy this book and then sit back, relax and ENJOY!!!!!
Loved this series, and looking forward to Lisa's story..... should be very good......just sayin'. I love Quinn's books, she takes you away into worlds only your imagination could grasp, and she hooks you from the first paragraph!!! It still constantly amazes me that the imagination of authors seems to know no bounds !!! and Quinns' story telling is fantabulous !!!!! Enjoy reading this series :)
Asahsuealcanekcana ajdaldna akcuren fmensjalcms! I don't know what I was trying to transmit with those letters but that is me trying to clarify my feelings. I. JUST. LOVED. THIS. SO. MUCH. I read the Grey Wolves series by Quinn, then I needed more of her beautiful stories, so I started this trilogy. And, my god, I just died.
So this book starts just where Rapture ended: with Cassie's parents being in Tarron's power, Trick trying to find a way to defeat the dark elf king, Crush and Elora finally being together and Lorsan trying to enslave and conquer the human world. Just the normal thing. I don't know what to expect with Quinn's books. They are so fantastic that I can't even stop reading again the book.
But let's talk about the characters. Quinn creates perfect characters. Cassie and Elora changed so much thought the books: both are more self-confident, are braver and they are not afraid to say what they are thinking and they want to fight for their loved ones. What I loved the most about them? Their friendship. I just loved to read about they being together. They are so funny and their sense of humor and the way they feel towards each other is simply wonderful.
"Wouldn’t expect anything less,” Cassie agreed. As she held her arms open for a hug, Elora grabbed her arm and jerked her into an embrace. “I’m so glad you didn’t die for good. I would have missed the crap out of you,” Cassie muttered causing both of them to laugh.
Elora pulled back to look at her. She bit her tongue to staunch the tears that threatened to fall. “I love you too, Cass.” Her voice was thick with emotion that she swallowed down as she stepped away from Cassie.
And then there's Syndra. I think whe is a wondeful and strong character. All the times I read in the book about her, she reminds me of Peri, the faery in the Grey Wolves series. And Syndra plus Cassie and Elora and Elora's mother make this book so funny to read. I mean, they were moments of tension and drama but the moments when they said something funny, it was hilarious!
“Who knows,” Syndra quipped. “Being around Trik has sort of brought out the beast in my male. It’s quite yummy”
Then we have all the elves, the perfect elves: Trick, Tamsin and Crush. Why every time the boys (or on this case, the elves) must be so perfect and lovely and everything a girl wants? The three of them are amazing. The way the feel towards their Chosen, even in the sobreprotective parts, are so romantic and wonderful. In the case of Trick, I loved to see how we changes thanks to Cassie (it was be a little cliche the whole thing "the good girl changed the bad guy" but I don't care because the way in which Quinn manages to write about it makes it unique). Tamsin and Crush: both of them giving the strength and reassurance to their Chosen, wanting to do everything for them... Lovely! Another boy who I loved: Oakley! We didn't know much about him but in this book you see a really funny and easygoing part of him that makes you fall in love with him. I loved when I read about him because he made me laugh so much and I just simply enjoyed to read about him.
"You’re going to walk up and act surprised to see your sister. This will distract Tarron. Then I will make my move. And it’s elf warrior.”
Oakley raised his hand. “Question, what is going to be my reason for just happening to be in a swamp, let alone a swamp where my sister just happens to be? And who cares―warrior, soldier― they both fight in battles”
Just loved it!Then we have that amazing world Quinn created here. The drama, the suspense, the up's and down's, the tension, the fantasy and the incredible characters. Perfect. (Can't fins enough words to describe this) To know this was the last book and with that ending was too much. I know there's going to be a novella but I want more of this! Please! Please! This was so intense and wonderful that deserves more than five stars! But I can only give 5 so... this is the actual rating for this amazing story.
PS: I can't wait for this novella to come out! :D :D
OMG I love love this series and I am so excited that it is not over. I cannot wait to find out who Lisa is meeting with. I think it's Rezer...OMG I'm excited!!! Quinn please hurry with the next book. I'm anxious!
Again I'm sitting here writing a raving review for Quinn Loftis and her talent. It astounds me that a boon can be written from so many POVs including the bad guys and you end feeling like you knew everything that happened. There are no unanswered questions, nothing left unsaid
This book does not disappoint. I enjoyed this series and as sad as I am to see it be over I am happy with the outcome for our ragtag group. Just like all of her books this one will suck you in - steal a day and not give it back. You might cry, gasp, laugh, and feel utter outrage as the events unfold, but the ride is worth the pain!
Highly highly recommend this books series and author.
PS: I would almost bet that maybe down the line a new series could be started so that Oakley gets a mate?? Maybe, or maybe it's wishful thinking.
Like the second book in the series this was fast paced as really two stories are told at once. Then like a beautiful melody they merge together at the end. Things you should know about this book.
1. There are two bad guys 2. Both are equally insane in different ways 3. Tarron believes Cassie is the reincarnated soul of his Chosen 4. There is a voodoo priestess and queen that get involved 5. Said priestess casts spell intended for Cassie, but it falls on Elora instead 6. Syndra is a bad ass 7. There is too much snarky banter 8. Elora dies and then is brought back by the Forest Lords 9. ALL the bad guys die! :) 10. Everyone gets a HEA
I loved this book. From its struggles, strengths, and triumphs. The unchangeable devotion the couples have for each other. The sexy alpha males. And of course the snarky, quick witted females. A great story of magic, love, and Faith. But most of all, it was the multiple points of view. So intricately woven so that it was not at all confusing. It was written so seamlessly. Loved seeing into the mind of the good vs the corrupt. Looking forward to what ever comes next far this amazing Author Quinn Loftis
I started this series not certain I would like it. I was certainly wrong. I absolutely fell in love with it. Hot elves who have a need to protect the ones they love and ladies who can hold their own. It's a great story and I happen to love the ending. It's bittersweet because I will miss the series and characters but I'm excited for Lisa's story. It's a series worth reading. Quinn is an amazing author so you can't go wrong with anything she writes
I really enjoyed this book but did notice a few really big typos which could have been caught by some basic editing, so I don't know how they slipped past. The story was good and I did enjoy the ending.
A series like these really make you hanker for more even when the story is done. So thank you Quinn for doing a smashing job in this as well. I have laughed, I have cried, and felt pure joy reading these books that often my husband looks at me like I'm crazy
What a lovely end to one of my favorite series! Good job as usual in bringing the characters to life and making the story one I could not drag myself away from!!
So this is the 3rd and final book of the Elfin Series (if I'm not mistaken). In the first book, we got to see how Cassie and Trik faced the fact that they were Chosen to each other and the unbelievable news that Trik was the rightful king (who would have thought 🙃). The second book also showed some of Trik and Cassie's story, but, at the same time, it allows you to see how Elera and her Chosen start off their relationship. And... in this 3rd and final book, both couples and all the secondary characters battle against Lorsan and Tarron to save both, the humans and the elfin race.
Honestly, I did like the book, but I have to say that I enjoyed a lot more the fact that the author focused on Elora and Cush's relationship. I did like Cassie and Trik and I was glas they had a good ending, but I have to admit that what happened to Elora and the way that Cush reacted just broke my heart 💔😭.
There were some cussing, which I didn't like, but glad it was kept minimal throughout the whole series.
I would also like to comment that compare to the Grey Wolves Series (also by Quinn), the Elfin Series was way darker.
Also, something that stands out is the fact the, even though Quinn's books aren't Christian Fiction, her faith always drives her to add an Almighty character that (at least for me) plays the role of God in her stories.
So, I was glad to finish the series, but disappointed since I thought the there was gonna be another book. Oh well... 🤷🏻♀️ Wasn't my favorite, but I always end up laughing with her dialogues and that I will always appreciate.
Ugh, there was just TOO much to this book. The grey wolves series has much of the same level of complexity, but it’s spread out among 10+ books and that helps the pace flow. This was like 3 books in 1. Why did we need THREE villains in this one story. We went from one the first 2 books to BAM now there’s 3 bad guys. Just too much. And anticlimactic at all pivotal points. And again, what the *bleep* was that ending? There are no other books in this series. There are no other books in the works in this series, so what the damn hell? This book in general just bored me and I had to FORCE myself to finish it, and now that I have, I just wish I hadn’t ever started it.
Quinn Loftis is amazing at never leaving things unfinished, but more and more that’s what this book was. Seriously, there’s no more conversation concerning Cassie’s parents? Never even told them she was married? Ugh, I’m debating if the end of this book may be enough for me to bump this down to a 1 star read.
the last book seemed to drag on and wasnt my fav, but I am happy with the ending although it was a little rushed. i think the whole senario with Tarron to begin with was odd and thrown in out of nowhere as if they hadn't had so many other people trying to hurt them. but everyone got there HEA so i'm a happy camper

I read the whole series in about a week and half and this was really more like 3.5 stars.
I had a couple of problems with the grammatical errors that should have been fixed in editing.
Story-wise, I get the fantasy aspect, but I struggle with the rushed weddings of 2 18-year old girls. I also felt that things were rushed to the finish with a happily ever after ending and I wished there was some final meeting with Cassie and the Forest Lords about her role as queen, or a snapshot showing her in the future as this great queen.
What a disappointment! The whole Tarron accidentally spelling Elora storyline was just dumb and unnecessary. It took up more than half the book. Isn’t this series supposed to be about Trik and Cassie and them saving the elfin and human races with side characters? Not having side characters as the main storyline? Cassie and Trik were more like the secondary characters and the action was minimal and anti climactic. Skimmed the majority of the book. Don’t see me reading anything else from this author.
This was an ehh ok read. After the build up from the first two books in the series I kept waiting on this big final battle between Trik and Lorsan that never really happened. There was a whole lot of hurry up and wait going on which made the book drag . This book was a little anticlimactic for me and the epilogue was really wasted.
This was my least favorite book in the series but I think that the series as a whole was a good read.
While this is the end of the trilogy with the kids and their HEA. I believe that with the Elfin Forest Gods, and Voodoo Priestess we have plenty of magical interference. I just wish there weren’t so many mistakes because of distractions. We see new relationships and old ones renewing it is becoming more of a web of connections that the King needs to bring back the Elves to their realm.
I chose this book as I've been reading her books for years. This book didn't disappoint me. As a matter of fact I have loved each of her series. I can't wait for the next release. Lisa has an admirer and who might it be. I have an idea and can't wait to see if I guessed correctly.😀
**DNF** I really tried to get back into this series but I just cant. I think I was done when I finished the book prior to this one I but wanted to give it a go. Well, I should have followed my gut. I am starting to see that my tastes in genres has started to change and these kinds of books are falling out of favor with me.
I took a month or two off before pulling this book out again and I’m sad I waited so long. I liked the pacing of the story, it has a good amount of ups and downs, to keep me engaged. Can’t wait to see if we get Lisa’s story next…. Or her second story I guess it would be.
All of a sudden Elora and cush are the main characters? There was do much more that could have been explored like Cassie fitting in the elfin realm instead of dealing with the same villain from book one.
Trik is supposed to be the king if all elves yet we ddnt get to see his power because author had us following other people. Dissapointed is an understatement
I wish this wasn't the last book in the series! I want to read more about all of the characters. It seems like it was just left on a cliff hanger. The good vs. evil/light vs. dark was never resolved.
