Chase and Arianna were enemies for decades, lovers for a few years and now strangers for the last two. Returning home to care for her father, former tennis star is finding it hard to let go of the love she felt for the man she hates.

Chase never imagined the feelings he had for Arianna would shift into love. But they did, until too many moment of distrust ruined it all. Now two years later, with them both engaged to other people Chase and Arianna are forced back into one another’s lives and all those forgotten feelings aren’t so forgotten.

Hate to Love You is told in segments of both past and present. Getting a chance to see just how these two ended up so broken after years of being connected. Filled with angst from the get go, you can’t help but be sucked into their lives as the drama unfolds. But letting go and forgetting the past isn’t the only obstacle these two have to face.

I love a good hate/love story. This dynamic usually results in some pretty explosive scenes and always keeps your emotions in knots. And as much as I wanted to know what ruined them, I wanted them to find their way to each other again. I had hope that this was all just one huge misunderstanding, but it wasn’t that simple. There was youthful mistakes, maybe just a love that was far too old for two people just too damn young to know what to do with their feelings.

In this first installment of the series, you get the history squared away. But you are left without the resolution of whether or not these two can venture past all the hurt to escape the hate and discover what might just be meant to be.

Isabelle Richards kept my on a tightrope during this entire story. She feed you pieces of the past slowly, allowing you to pace yourself, even if you wanted to know everything all at once. I can’t wait to see if these two can work through the past, and their present to find a way to the HEA they both deserve. There is a slight cliff at the end of this book – so be ready to one-click part two on October 7th (I know I will!!!)

4.5 Mind Blowing Stars!

Review by Lisa Kane

I simply, utterly loved this book. It frustrated me to no end and the main characters are an exercise in patience with their on again/off again relationship. They were rivals in their youth, almost bordering on enemies. Their families are as close as you can get without a blood bond. Arianna is the daughter of two powerhouse athletes. Her mom was the world's foremost tennis player and her dad was a football god. Now he is a coach. Since her mom's tragic death the two families are even more united. But her strange relationship with Chase, her best friend Charlie's twin brother makes all of them cringe. They can not be in the same room without fireworks exploding.

All that changes one night when they are in each other's company and their sexual attraction for each other overpowers them. Arianna is a virgin; Chase has been with more girls than he can count. His gorgeous face, hot body and his skill as the high school football team's quarterback provides him with an all he can eat buffet of willing girls to feast on. Arianna wants Chase to take her virginity. Her life is one tennis tournament after another. She is the "it" girl of the court and travels all over the world to compete. But for some reason, Chase is who she chose to lose her V-card to-and once it's done there is no ignoring that things have changed.

But Arianna does what she does best-the morning after- she runs. Literally, runs away. Chase wanted more than their one night but she shuts that down quickly. This sets the tone for the next 4 years of their lives. They break apart, come together and break apart. They agree to keep their relationship a secret from everyone-no sense in their loved ones suffering from the fall out if things don't work out.

But two years ago, Chase screwed up. Only he doesn't know he did and things were over for good. Through a series of misunderstandings, they both moved on and are engaged to other people. One wonders if those engagements were the result of a game of one upmanship. A means to inflict more hurt to the other. Only those kinds of hurts leave lasting scars.

Arianna has been on the run for the last two years, refusing to be anywhere near Chase. But she suffers a devastating loss to her career and she is home. A family illness ensures she is home to stay. It is inevitable that she will run into Chase. Seeing him with his fiance shouldn't hurt after all this time right?

I wanted to take these two jack asses and knock their heads together. It is so obvious that they are not and never will be over each other. But they just can't stop hurting the other with their rivalry. Just when I thought maybe, just maybe they are finally going to get it right; an evil scheming witch brews up a whole cauldron of trouble, leaving us with the mother of all cliffys. Fortunately, the sequel is coming fairly quickly (although not quick enough for me!) and I am hoping I will get the HEA I need.

I enjoyed this so much. Two families, parents have been best friends forever, even built houses next to each other. Had their children a day apart, Chase and Charlie (brother/sister) are twins and Ari is an only child. There was jealous between Chase and Ari all their lives. Chase's father was famous for baseball but had nothing on Ari's dad Aiden who was a famous ex-football player and her mom was a famous tennis player. Chase was like the boy Aiden never had, Chase happened to be a quarterback and Ari's dad was his coach, mentor, and second dad. Ari followed her mothers footsteps and became a famous tennis player as well. These two families were so close like they were one family. I couldn't help but love Chase and Ari trying to up one another every chance they got. It drove the families crazy but it was what was expected of the two.

"Don't you remember why we stopped getting paired together?"
"I slugged him with my nine iron, and he retaliated by nailing me with his three wood. We both ended up in the hospital."

UNTIL one night...

'Angry sex is the best. It was the foundation of my relationship with...
"Oh no, you can't start that and not finish it."
"No. Not going there."
"Come on! I'm going to have boring, stuffy conversations all night. I need something smutty to think about."
"Well, it was the best part of our relationship. I swear he used to pick fights just for the angry sex. He'd always do it when we with people. He'd push a button he knew would piss me off, or he'd start
making digs that he really didn't mean but knew would get under my skin. The fights would be downright nasty. The next thing I knew, we'd be in the pantry, or the garage, or the bathroom
going at like animals. Quick and oh, so dirty."

I loved Chase even though he was a man-whore at the start. Then there's a huge misunderstanding and it changes everything. So it begins. The love/hate picks up at some point again. The things they do just to one up the other... even as adults, I found entertaining. Some actions became extreme.

I hate that he can still hurt me. I hate even more that I still love him. I hate the most that fighting with him still turns me on.

"I don't hate you. We're too much alike, so we have this stupid rivalry. We both always want to be the best, and there's never been room for two at the top. ~~CHASE

I hate to love this book right now! Oh the angst! Oh the crazy train that is this book! I want my greedy hands on book 2 NOW!
This story follows the lives of Arianna and Chase. Two people who hate and love each other at the same time. They are super competitive in life and when it comes to their relationship it is even worse. They fight hard and love hard and we get to go along the ride with them!
They are both in the public eye and are athletes. The story goes back and forth between past to present. There are tons of misunderstandings and an evil, crazy woman named Jenna! Really?!?! It was hard to hate someone with your same name. There is a huge Cliffy at the end and I am not patiently waiting for book 2.
Overall I really enjoyed this story and can’t wait to find out what happens next. Yes there is a big cliffy but the second book will release about a month after so grab your wine and jump into this one, you will not be disappointed!

3.5 - 4 tension filled stars

As I'm reflecting on my thoughts regarding this series, I realized that reading the installments back to back definitely tainted my opinion of book one. So stepping back, I needed to just sort myself out, set aside all my feelings surrounding this couples journey in Love to Hate You, so that I can voice my true feelings while reading the beginning of their tale.

I liked this read - jammed packed with angst, anger, frustration, lust and high on the drama element. My feelings towards each character swayed from page to page, moment to moment, both liking and utterly despising them both equally. For readers who want that 'roller coaster' ride of emotions and a tension filled romance, this is a good read. There were times, and several of them, I wanted to both hug and smack the shit out of Chase and Arianna. This couple definitely sucked me into their love-hate relationship.

Be warned - this book is somewhat of a cliffhanger and a good start to a enemies-turned-passionate-lovers tale.

Hate To Love You is the first book that I've read by Isabelle Richards and will not be my last!

Arianna  and Chase are childhood friends who are at each other's  throats constantly during childhood and adolescents until one night changes everything.

Both sides of their families including  themselves  are always in the public eye. Her mother was a professional  tennis player like herself and her dad's a football genius. After that one night together they decided  to keep everything  on the down low because  of the press and to save their families friendship.

After finding out some unpleasant  information  about Chase, Arianna leaves. She moves on with her life and a few years later her career comes to a halt after an injury  that cannot be repaired and heartfelt news from home so she returns.

Their  story  is told in dual point of view and in past and present. At times I found myself confused and not sure what to think. I loved Chase and hated him, lol. Isn't that what gives us the feels and the need to keep reading to find out how it all ends. Then came the......cliffhanger. OMG!

                     • • •A few favorable  quotes• • •

“I’m still in love with Chase. I don’t want to love him. I hate him. I hate him more because I love him. I hate myself for how I feel, but I can’t help it. I love him.”

“Arianna Aldrich, it is impossible for you to be inconsequential. You couldn’t be ordinary if you tried. You’re a game changer. Once you enter someone’s life, everything else seems trivial and paltry in comparison. You could never be confused with the Brennan Babes.”

“I can’t forgive her! She eviscerated me! She made me fall in love with her. She took my heart, my soul, and everything that was ever good in me and pissed all over it. That’s not something you just move on from. We were enemies before, and that’s exactly what we should have stayed. If we had, maybe I’d still be whole! You want a villain to blame? Look at her.”

“We’re not getting back together. If I wasn’t me, I’d start singing Taylor Swift songs, that’s how never getting back together we are. There’s way too much bad blood here.”

"Every time I think we’re solid, something happens, and we fall apart at the seams. When we love, we love hard, but when we hate, we’re so full of venom. Bouncing back and forth between the two makes it hard to see a future."

Have you ever read a book that makes you feel like your heart is about to jump out of your chest? Your brain is going so fast you just want to get up and run? Well this is how I feel after reading Hate to Love You. The story takes us between the present and past and it alternates from Ari and Chase’s POV. This one is going on my list of favorites and definitely recommending it!

Chase and Ari hate each other, since forever. But, then they love each other and it’s so good when they do. But, their relationship is not an everyday kind of relationship. They are both very competitive and their lives as professional athletes keep them apart more often than together; which puts a lot of stress on their relationship. Then Chase is not very good at making good decisions when it comes to Ari; he finds himself in situations that look really bad for him and get him into a lot of trouble.

The passion with which Chase and Ari fight and love each other comes through loud and clear. These are two very intense individuals trying to find their footing in a powerful relationship whether it’s during the hate or love period. Keeping the relationship a secret adds a whole different dynamic; which makes it that much harder. Chase has a hard time watching how other men drool and ogle Ari and he is not able to claim her.

Chase:
“I’ve done everything I can to get over you, but nothing works because I love you so much that it’s toxic for me to be away from you. You’re my poison and antidote all wrapped up in one, and I just can’t live without you.”

“Stop thinking of all the reasons this won’t work, and remember the reasons it will.”

Ari:

“I’m in love, and I despise it. Just thinking about it makes me physically ill. He’s obnoxious, arrogant and self-absorbed. Thinking of him makes my blood boil. We can’t be in the same room without wanting to kill each other. Despite all this, I love him. He’s like a parasite I can’t seem to eradicate.”

“I haven’t had a clear head since we slept together all those years ago. He’s invaded me, mind, body and soul.”

Warning: there is a book two that will be out in October. I am on pins and needles waiting to see if Chase and Ari can make this relationship work.

I was provided with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

HOLY SHIT What a ride! Let me start by saying I was on vacation and stayed awake one night to devour this book. Once you start, you just can't stop! This is one hell of a ride, it will keep you on your toes with one hell of an ending! This is the first book I've read by Ms. Richards and I will tell you, it most definitely won't be the last. Ms. Richards knows how to suck you in where you feel like you can't breathe until you know what happens next.

"If you would just let him nail you with his wood again, all the wrongs in the world would be righted."

Ari and Chase have had the rockiest relationship ever, it's emotional, heart breaking and so much of it is a huge cluster fuck! They have to keep their relationship a secret from their families since they don't want to upset their families if things don't work out between them. Well what happens when Ari is engaged as is Chase? And not to each other! We get to see tiny glimpses of their past while also seeing what happens in their daily lives. Ari has been out of the country for so long, how will she handle being back home where the man she's always loved still resides and watching him live his happy new life with his fiancé?

"I'm still in love with Chase. I don't want to love him. I hate him. I hate him more because I love him. I hate myself for how I feel, but I can't help it. I love him."

Hate to Love you is an amazing read. It's heart breaking, funny, sweet and just down-right emotional. Did I mention HEART-BREAKING? Rip my heart out and cry like a baby. I need the next book like STAT! I've already harassed the author, begged and pleaded. I would name my next child after her to get my hands on that book! I need to know what happens. Fortunately, we won't have to wait long since Love to Hate you releases next month. ;-) Hate to Love you is every bit of 5 heart shattering, blubbering messy stars. The best part is, it's only 99 pennies for Release Week! Jump on that shit right away.

I was given an ARC by Isabelle Richards, mega-talented author of the fast paced erotic thrillers, When Fate Collides series. This was another great book by the author. A new gifted writer gives us HATE TO LOVE YOU

Simple....rated 5 stars

description

Chase and Arianna have know each other all their lives. They are mammoth type A personalities. Win at all cost types who have competed and fought for years. The story is told mainly in the present with some flashbacks to their youth. It is a purely love hate relationship. Pushing each other to excel. Ari is tennis and Chase as a QB.

But everything changes one night when Chase does something sweet for Ari and she learns of it. That turns into a night of sex and a secret romance till that is shattered. Now years later Ari is back in USA and has to face Chase again. Old sparks ignite but past fuel ignites the hatred they think they feel for each other and rightly so in a way.

As life happens things become enlightened but life also darkens. Health risk, jealous people, miscommunication run rampant.

We are left with a doozey of a cliffy setting up book two.

If you like love/hate, fast paced books or if we have similar taste i must 100% recommend you pick up HATE TO LOVE YOU.

I also recommend you pick up the When Fate Collides series ASAP too.

This was the first book I've read by Isabelle Richards, and it won't be my last! I loved Chase & Ari's story. I'm not typically a fan of hate-to-lovers stories, but Isabelle made it work.

Chase & Ari's relationship was so toxic, and a simple conversation between them could turn on a dime, and then all hell would break loose. I loved the dual POV's, but I did get lost in the story a few times. I found it hard to keep track of the flashbacks, especially since the time periods were not in order. But although it would take me a bit to figure out where they were in their relationship at that point, I was still invested in their story.

Thank you Isabelle for not making us wait long for the sequel!! I can't wait to see how the rest of their story plays out.

The lack of communication in this book was utterly frustrating. I honestly am not a big fan of Arianna. She is the ice queen. She doesn't feel things on a level that Chase does. She also runs. Any situation that is remotely emotional and she runs. Then she ices you out. She really got on my nerves.

Poor Chase. He has terrible taste in women. I know he has a bad temper and doesn't think things through. But I thought his behavior was appropriate for his age and situation.

I have a bad bad feeling about Jenna. Especially after hearing her parents response to her psychotic behavior. She is gonna go all Carrie on the next book.....

Nauseating. This is not an example of a healthy relationship, kids. I'll give this book some credit though, it's definitely a lesson on how important communication is. The classic romance novel trope of unavoidable misunderstandings brought on by jumping to conclusions instead of being mature adults and talking is the driving force in this book. Which wouldn't be so bad if there was a worthy reward, but there isn't. The characters were boring, rich, semi-famous assholes with the collective personality of a single cockroach. I'm not sure what any of them saw in each other. And I'm so over books that create insufferable female characters with the sole purpose of being a catalyst in the relationship of the main couple. They are deliberatey given the personality of "conniving bitch" or just plain crazy because the author wants you to hate them. The only reason for their existence is to further the emotional development of the female lead and her relationship with the leading man, and I think that's sad. Let's stop making female characters hate each other because of a man. Please.
This wasn't sexy or romantic. It was a dysfunctional mess. And a cliffhanger? Lame. But I also don't care because I wont be reading the next book.

Ariana e Chase brigam como cão e gato e vivem intensa relação de amor, ódio e desejo (embora o livro deixe um gostinho de quero mais nesse aspecto if you know what i mean...AND I MEAN SEX!!!!).

Olha lá quem vem do lado oposto

This book needs a better cover
And a better name...

I thought this was going to be a short erotica read about a couple who just can't except their attraction, but end up in each other’s arms at the end of every fight, until one of them (usually the guy) says "Hey, I admit, I like you, so let’s just stop this bullshit and go steady". The end.

Which sort of is... but more.

The book starts two years after they broke up from a secret four years relationship. At first I barely could even feel the sexual tension because they both hurt the other so bad! I could really feel their pain and hurt they cause each other. There was a point there I actually thought "Wow, maybe they should stay far away from each other. It's clear they bring out the worst in one another."

But when they were good, they were really good. They were invincible together.

I know some people found the flashbacks a little confusing, and I can understand that, but honestly... I thing it gave the story even more tension and angst. I wouldn’t be the same if it was all in chronological order.

I felt such pity for these characters, especially Ari, who is about to lose the last of everything she has.
I mean she lost her mother, her soul mate, her career, and now it's about to lose her father.
My heart really felt for this girl, especially because she doesn't stop, she just keep moving forward and never ruminates on the what ifs. She doesn't act like a victim or someone who needs saving.
She's one of those girls who screams silently.

Honestly, Chase made me really mad at the beginning, but he was pulling through near the end. I thing Ari forgave him for a lot more than I ever would. Although I think he was just the right amount of asshole, if he was more or less or an asshole the story wouldn’t be the same because I could really see why she both loved and hated him.

These characters felt really real to me, so I guess I’m taking things way too personal. Because I've met couples like this, who hasn't?

I’m very excited for book 2, I’m hoping Chase will warm up a little more for me then.

Jesey’s text to Isabelle Richards the moment she finished this story was “I love you but I hate you right now LOL I need more ASAP” and then she had to wait for Roxie to catch up LOL We both agree that this story will have your heart racing and that it will hook you fast!

Hate to Love You is an amazing story and the way that Isabelle Richards tells it is well executed. Told in dual POV and taking place in both the past and the present, we delve into the toxic relationship between Arianna and Chase. The struggle and the emotions are so real, the tension is thick enough to cut with a knife and you never know if they are coming or going. From childhood, Chase and Arianna were always getting back at each other…

“Retaliation was a fixture in our relationship.”

We learn about their past, Arianna was touring the world playing tennis while Chase was finishing high school and preparing for his collegiate football career. The heat between the two of them is constant. Sometimes it’s passionate and loving while other times it’s volatile and downright nasty. Either way, these two give each other all that they have in love and hate.

“I don’t want to think about her. I don’t want her in my dreams. I don’t want to be in the same room with her, because when I am, I can’t stop looking at her. I don’t want her anywhere near me because I hate her for what she did to us, but I can’t break this connection that draws me to her.”

Damn….that says is all RIGHT there! They are BOTH so F^&*ING stubborn all of the time!! However, no matter what they are doing, they can’t seem to forget about one another…that is what made this book so amazing for us. The fact that they can hate each other so much, but really what it boils down to is that they love each other so much. It’s confusing and heart wrenching and well worth the read!!!

Grab Hate to Love You NOW because Love to Hate You will be released in early October!

If Isabelle Richards wasn't already on my auto-buy list, LOVE TO HATE YOU would most definitely put her in that place. Her foray into a contemporary romance, with the story of Chase and Ari, childhood friends and enemies, is absolutely stellar and has me loving her even more.

LOVE TO HATE YOU is the history of Ari and Chase. Told in alternating points of view between Ari and Chase, we discover a couple who is incredibly competitive with the worst communication skills EVER (I mean....EVER). As their story unfolds their feelings for each other are quite evident, especially the thin line between love and hate. It's very clear that despite their protests they do truly love each other, but neither is willing to accept their part in their relationship's downward spiral.
Ari and Chase are both very likable characters. They value their family and their friendships. Even when they were sniping at each other, you knew their barbs were coming from a place of tremendous hurt. They may have exasperated me at times, but I did want both of these couples to be happy and strong for one another...even if all they ever had was a renewed friendship.

I have a feeling book 2 is going to be a gut-wrenching read, but I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on it.

4.5 Emotional Stars for Hate To Love You
by Isabelle Richards

I am a first time reader of this author.. I completely enjoyed this story.

Arianna and Chase both are well known icons in the sports world. Chase is a NFL Quarterback and Arianna is a Tennis Star. They are competitive in everything they do and I mean everything, including hurting each other.

Their story is told in duel point of view and in just from past to present given us an understanding of the rivalry between the two. The secondary charterers in this story is well written and play a major part of their story.

Loved it.. I don't want to give anything away, but I can not wait for the next book. I originally thought this was a standalone, but I am so glad we will be getting more and I can't wait for the next book.

Loved it.. I recommend this read.

I could not read this book fast enough. I am so happy I waited to start the series after all the books were out. The love/hate back and forth of the book was like a heated tennis match and it was so fun to be privy to. I usually stay away from drama books and books with all the feels, but this book had me hooked from the first word on the first page and I could not put it down.

oh the angst. I want to beat the both of them over the heads!!!!! I am loving this story...can't wait to go on to the next book. I am totally obsessed with Chase and Arianna. I normally hate cliff hangers, but I'm dealing with it. baby steps. baby steps.

Honestly I don't know where I stand with this book. I liked it, but felt nothing...? If that makes sense. Like it feels when you switch on a TV just to put something easy on, and it plays in the background. I got no feeling at all from this book (except a little sadness, because of the father), but everything else? Nothing. The romance nothing, the "tug and war", nothing.
I'm pretty sure anyone who follows my book journeys know, that hate to love books are my weakness. I could read them for the rest of my life. This book was strange for me, because I felt nothing. No pain, no happiness, nothing. Its never happened before, and I don't understand why. The story, writing and everything was all done well, so I don't know why. I really liked the tennis aspect to this, you can see the author is very passionate about it.
I liked Chase and Arianna. They weren't unique to me, but they are nice characters. I liked their competitiveness (as I am myself very competitive).
I don't know I felt there wasn't enough "I hate you, you ass" or tension filled scenes for me to feel anything. Like I honestly couldn't care less if they don't end up together at the end.

Actual Rating: 4.5, Give me the next book, Stars!!

“Love is scary and intense and confusing.” “At one time or another, we’re all cowards in the face of something unpredictable and unknown. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Fear isn’t a dirty word.”

Toxic. Captivating. Intoxicating. Angsty. Those are just a few words to describe this book. Hate to Love is one of those stories that you are just going to love to hate ;)

Hate To Love follows the story of Chase and Arianna. Chase and Arianna have been mortal enmities for as long as anyone can remember. That is until one night, everything changed. One night, their hate turns into passion. And you know what they say; sex changes everything. Chase and Arianna develop an intriguing relationship. On the outside, when friends are around, they act like they can’t stand each other. But behind closed doors, their hate is transformed into passion, lust, maybe even love. But, as their relationship continues on, the lies that they tell will turn what they have into something toxic. Things spiral out of control and some actions can’t be taken back…..Fast forward 2 years. Both Chase and Arianna have supposedly moved on. However, they’ve never really been able to let go. When the two of them are forced back together, they no longer have the option of avoiding each other. Will the two of them finally be able to forgive and forget and finally move on??

I have to say, I am completely hooked on this book! I am dying to know what happens next! The way things left off!!!! Ack!!! I am just dying!!

Let me just say, this is my first book by Isabelle Richards and it most certainly will not be my last. This book captivated me from the very beginning. I knew that this book would take me on one heck of a ride and with lines like this: “I can’t forgive her! Look at her.”, lets just say, it did not disappoint.

Hate to Love You was a fantastic read. The characters were captivating. Their story was intriguing. I was hopelessly lost in the toxic relationship that Chase and Arianna had. I found myself addicted to their story. Yes, they frustrated me to no end. They were both stubborn and wrong; too proud to see the truth that was staring them in the face. And when they weren’t at each other’s throats, their chemistry was off the charts!

This is one of those stories that will have you yelling at your kindle for them to get their acts together! And just when you think things are going into the right direction, a nice little twist is thrown in there. A twist that will leave you screaming for the next book to see how it will all play out! I for one can not wait to get my hands on the next book!!!!

Well damn...that about sums it up. I knew this story wasn't complete but I guess I didn't expect to feel like this when I got to the end of book one. I am feeling a lot of things but mostly dying for part two because leaving me in this state is just not that funny.

When you think of people hating each other you have certain expectations for their behavior towards each other, well take those expectations and throw them out the window. These two take hate to whole new level and perhaps it has something to do with the fact that love each just as fiercely.

Chase

"She's a cruel, heartless bitch who causes me nothing but soul-crushing pain and despair."

Arianna

"I'm excellent at playing six degrees of how Chase is to blame."

These two grew up around each other, their parent's are best friends. Their lives entwined since they were little and their needing to one-up the other starting before they could walk. Then as they grew older, sex became involved and that's when things changed (well kind of).

"When we love, we love hard, but when we hate, we're so full of venom." No truer words were ever spoken and this book was a look at where it all started and then where it all went wrong. Ari is home after traveling the world to be with her ailing father. She is at a turning point in her life and ready to start a new chapter. But being home brings up all sorts of feelings that had not been buried. The biggest feeling? Hate for Chase.

Chase was trying to move on, trying to put to bed the past and put his heart safely back in his chest. "The relationship ended, yet the ghost of it remains, and she's a bitch of a roommate." He is professionally where he was meant to be, he has a new woman in his life and things are good. At least that's how they look on the outside.

Their whole lives have a been a series of misunderstandings and taking everything at face value and never looking beyond the surface. Not everything is as it seems and we are left with something that could destroy them forever.

This is my first by this author and I have to say I loved it. The story was well written and flowed well. There was a lot of heartbreak and angst and moments where I just wanted to yell at the book. I felt for both Chase and Ari. They are two of the most stubborn people I have ever met. They love and hate with this fierceness that would be hard to rival. When they get near each other sparks fly and some of them can burn the whole place down. I was enthralled with their antics and even found myself laughing out loud. I am dying to see how this mess is going to work out and I am hoping that someone gets a spoon to the jugular.

I was gifted with the chance to read this book early. Ari and Chase take the phrase Hate to Love You to a new level. These two have been rivals from childhood, pulling pranks on each other and constantly trying to one up each other. Over the years, the animosity has changed for both of them and then one night of sleeping together changes everything. You can't go back after sex and these two date in secret for years. To say their relationship ends poorly is an understatement and until a family drama draws Ari back to her hometown, these two have gone years ignoring each other. Problem is...they still love each other in the worst way. Their banter and actions toward each other make you laugh out loud, sigh at other times and even get you to yell at the pages. These two are so frustrating, hardheaded and at times downright difficult. You actually question whether they are capable of finding a happily ever after or is just not fated for these two.

Isabelle Richards ropes you in without beautiful dialogue, characters that you would want to be friends with, and a storyline that is fast paced and races you around the world. Isabelle Richards is quickly becoming one of my go to new authors. It is easy to get caught up in Ari and Chase's story. I, for one, didn't put it down once I started. Yes, there is a cliffhanger but the second part comes out in October and since I have read Love to Hate You, I can tell you it is worth the wait! Pick this one up now and meet Chase and Ari!

UGH......

This is my first Isabelle Richards book, and I must say I hate her right now!!!! If you read my past reviews, you'll know that I.HATE.CLIFFHANGERS!!!! I tend to collect all books first before plunging it. The good news is, the sequel is right around the corner, YEY for me!

So for the book it was awesome, I love the banters the chase the off the wall chemistry of Chase and Ari. What I hate is this could all been over if communication was open, well I guess there are to much pain and angst between their pasts that lead them to their present situation. And when you thought that everything is a happy ending....you will be given a sick twist that makes you want to throw the book and what's worse? It ends there...it was a WTF moment for me. We know the truth, but Ari doesn't and I am completely frustrated!!! I hope they won't wait too long to get back together. I am dying to read the sequel.

I'm giving Hate to Love You 4.5 stars. First, I want to say that I found it funny and cute at times that they couldn't stand each other but under the surface they were so deeply in love. Chase and Ari were so different but their love for sports gave them a connection. Neither character feels as if the other shares the same feelings so when the povs switch it's as if we learn of their feelings before they even do. This book made me so mad!!!! There was so much back and forth between the characters. We learn of their past, in what seems like letters, but I ended up skimming through some of those because I just wanted to see them together so bad. I hated that ending and my heart is so tattered that there is no way I can put myself through anymore pain just yet. I know that the sequel Love to Hate You just released but I'm going to continue with my tbr and read it after I have cooled down.

I'm having withdrawals, review to come later

Big warning, read at your own risk. There’s a CLIFF HANGER, no, HUGE CLIFF HANGER. Which means, if you’re obsessive like me, you can read the book on October 6th, because by the 7th you’re going to want to read the second part.

That said, let’s talk about the book. This is a fast paced-angsty-romance novel with ups and downs from page one until… you scream what’s going to happen next?

We have Ari and Chase, two extremely competitive personalities that have been striving to be the best and beat the other since they were little. Their story is told in alternating points of views and with flashbacks that helps us understand how our MC’s got into the place where they’re now.

A highly recommended read from a talented author that keeps you turning pages and biting your nails.

This book makes me want to bang my head against the well, better yet, I should just knock Chase and Ariana’s head together. The story is told in dual POV, which is great because you get some insight as to the why’s of their actions.
Their relationship was frustrating. First they were enemies, then they become lovers. However, due to Ariana’s issues and a series of misunderstandings, they embark on this on again/off again relationship throughout the years. Just when the reader thinks there is light at the end of the tunnel, the rug is pulled out from under you. I guess I will just have to wait for the next book to see if these two can get their act together.
