My Review:

I was lucky in that I got to be an alpha reader on this book. I've loved this Urban Fantasy world, but the sexual tension and romance heightens in this newest installment.

This book focuses on Edie and Marcus. They've been good friends for a while...yes, I love friends to lovers stories...but Marcus wants more. Edie isn't going for it. Edie is brilliant, headstrong, and driven. Also stubborn and willing to bend the rules. Things are bound to happen.

A great coda to this series. Sam has Coop, Janey has Will, and Will's twin Edie has her best friend Marcus and her science lab. Edie works frantically to develop discoveries to help her beloved aunt and fellow Gifted.

This novella stands alone as well. Not only is it a part of The Hunted world, it is also a self contained romance, which was a surprise, and made it that much more fun

Amanda Shofner explores the connections between family, friends, and lovers in contemporary romance. When she's not writing, you'll probably find her reading, investigating the Twin Cities with her dog Scarlet, adventuring to new restaurants, drinking coffee, or declaring, "There's a Futurama episode for that." ...more
