Drama. Lies. Sex.

Welcome to Palm South University.

The weather isn’t the only thing heating up in South Florida. At a school where fraternities and sororities don’t exactly play by the rules, relationships are bound to be tested. Parties and sex are definitely key ingredients in the Palm South recipe, but what happens when family issues, secret lives, and unrequited love g

Episode 1, centers around Cassie and Paris who have finally arrived at Palm South University.

Paris can't wait to pledge, but Cassie isn't too sure it's the right path for her.

What is set in motion is an exciting new year, where students embrace the unwritten motto of Palm South University: drama, sex, and lies.

Kandi Steiner pulls you into this series and makes you feel like you're watching a TV series... The stories are short, but keep you hanging for more.

I actually requested this book, because the blurb interested me. This is also my first "serial" so, I am sorry, if my review isnt typical for serials.
This series covers 7 different characters and their experience in college. The book/books reads like a tv series, which I believe was the intention. The books read a bit like gossip girls meets, pretty little liars meets Wild things. There were some characters that were more interesting than

WHOA!!! Kandi Steiner did not lie when she said Drama. Sex. Lies.

The book did not disappoint. It had everything you could imagine. Like a TV series, you could see the drama unfold. And, Lord the secrets are just juicy. I think my favorite character till now is Skyler. This was a really quick read and I was absolutely 100% engrossed. I can not wait to see how all the stories unfold. I was a bit skeptic how this would go but let me assure you this book is absolute FUN.

Parties, Drinking, Boys, Friends, and repeat ... wait did I say boys?

Whether you have read Black Number Four or not, you will love this. But if you are a #BN4 fan it is awesome. Timing wise it starts before #BN4, with Cassie pledging sororities. There are two points of view to show you both sides of Greek life. I enjoyed it, it reminded me a little of the tv show Greek which I loved! And now a bit about the story...

Cassie is new to Palm South University and she is checking out Greek ro

Palm South University: Season One / Episode One • Kandi Steiner

To say I was excited to read this is putting it mildly (lol) I originally met Cassie, Bear and Jess in the book Black Number Four <--- if you haven't read this one add it to your list! You will absolutely love it!!!

I adored Cassie and was excited to read her story of her journey of starting college. She is quiet, thoughtful, and serious about what she wants to do with her future. This peek into the beginning of her picking a soror

I was honored to be one of the select bloggers to receive Kandi Steiner's new serial Palm South University. For those of you that don't know what a serial is I want to take a moment to explain. A serial are smaller books that are to be read like a TV episode. You get glimpse into different characters and their stories.

I will be doing a review for all 6 episodes of the first season of Palm South University. If you read Black Number Four then you were introduced to many of side characters includi

1. College
I didn't get the normal college experience, so it's fun to live through the characters of PSU. And let me tell you, I feel like I'm right there in the thick of it.

2. Friendship
I love the friendship the KKB girls have with each other.  Even when secrets are kept, you know they have your back no matter what.  They also don't seem like the other sororities on the campus.

So, I may be a little all over the place with my review, but what can you expect when you are introduced to a handful of character in only 35 pages *wink*

First of all, I am not sure who the main characters are. I have a sense this will be a bit like 90210 or Friends. Where you will have all these characters with their own POV with drama, struggles, and moments but are interconnecting somehow. Right now, developmentally speaking, Bear and Cassie are pretty much the only two characters that were b

I had the privilege of reading this as a set and did not have to wait in between each smaller segment. All though I will be in the same boat with season two waiting for the next part. I absolutely loved this book. This is the first book I have read by Kandi Steiner. She was recommended by a friend of mine and I am so grateful that she was. I had so much trouble putting this book down. Although it took me longer than I wanted as adulting got in the way. I love how you get to learn about the diffe ...more

Drama. Sex. Lies. Check, Check and check! If you've read any of Kandi's other books you know that she has a way of pulling you in from the first word and holding you hostage till the very last one. Although PSU is a short read, there is no shortage of excitement. I was thrilled when I heard Kandi was writing this serial series. Black Number Four was a favorite of mine when released. No you don't have to read it before this since it acts as a prequel of sorts. These characters are ones I would lo ...more

Oh my gosh! I binged this entire box set in less than a day! WARNING: PSU is HIGHLY addictive! You will want to go enroll at PSU the second you finish the first epi! (I'm still trying to figure out how to do that btw).

I love how this serial is written. It is fast paced, steamy, drama filled.....everything I want in a college-aged romance! This series does read like a TV show. I feel like I am watching a night drama on HBO while I'm reading. There are parts that are laugh-out-loud funny, other p

This is a great start to a new series by Kandi Steiner. I was really interested in reading this series after I read Black Number Four, which has the same characters. I loved (most) of the characters in BN4 so I was really excited that I was going to get more in the PSU series. This was a super quick read and gives us a nice introduction to the characters. While nothing to dramatic happen I am excited to read about what's to come.

So so good! Kandi knows you to trap you and keep that attention through every page! These characters are so fun and the drama keeps you wondering what happens next. Every character is written with depth. Kandi knows how to write amazing and fun college kids. This is such a fun series and I would highly recommend it to any reader.

Okay this is my first Kandi Steiner book, why the hell did it take me so long to find this author! Seriously, I loved her style of writing, she drew me in from page one.
I felt like I was in a T.V Series, it played out in my head as I read, I love it when books do that!
Well done Kandi, I can't wait for more :-) xx

Episode 1 Review ...

Cassie has just enrolled at Palm South University, and college is about to begin. She's attending with her best friend Paris and she couldn't be happier, they have been best friends through high school and are ready to take PSU by storm. But in things change, and college just might send them in different directions. Cassie is down to earth, all american type girl, who seems to be real and grounded. Paris, not so much she seems a little full of herself and all about the party

I received a ARC of this book in exchange for a honest review over on my blog Pretty Little Book Blog.

I could not get enough of the characters in Black Number Four! So naturally when I seen there was going to be a serial series there was a happy dance of epic proportions! So let's get to the good stuff! These episodes follow some of our favorite characters and give us so much more of a fuller slice of life for the students at PSU and the Greek life. I never went to a University so I'm living my "so called" college life through these college based books. This is a short series but with several books. This first installment already started off great. You get to meet some of the kids that are attending or will be attending the Palm South University.

The kids that are just starting school will get the experience of their life and are feeling out sorority houses and they get to pick their top th

Palm South University was written like a TV Show, where secrets, love and drama rule each part. For the ones who read Black Number Four, you'll find again some memorable characters and discovered them in a new light, so much younger.

Drama. Sex. Lies. YUP, you get all of this and more! This is a really fun book about college kids within sororities and fraternities. While some of it had a bit of drama that seemed a little unbelievable to me, it is all perfectly placed for some good fun! Prior to reading this book (or boxed set) I was looking for something to add to my college romance reads and I stumbled across this one. This serial had me interested from the first three words in the blurb: Drama, lies, sex. This serial is set up in television drama form and had me burning up my kindle to get to the next episode. In this box set we meet Cassie, Bear, Jess, Skyler, Erin, Ashlei, and Adam. They are attending college at a private beach town university. Each episode pulled me deeper into PSU. It was definitely everything I had hoped it would be, it was full of drama, lies and sex just like the blurb promised.

When I read the blurb for Palm South University I was very intrigued. With a tag line of drama, lies, sex how can one not be curious of the happenings in South Florida! This is also the first book I have read from Kandi Steiner and I was excited to dive in! With a novella series you normally get a quick read that has a lot of bang for the buck. I love how you get a new installment every week or so and how it’s like watching your favorite TV show weekly. For me though, this first installment was ...more

It seems a little silly to state the obvious, but I'll do it anyway! It's very easy to picture this serial story as a television series! Palm South University - Season 1 - Episode 1 gives a glimpse into several of the characters in little snippets. The story is set on a college campus in a fictional greed system. As a sorority member during my college days, I find some of the comments familiar and some a bit over-the-top. But, the familiarity will keep me coming back for the next episodes!

Palm South University is a serial. This is Season 1. Super short and leaves you wanting more but it's also a great read. We get three POVs in this Season. We get Cassie, Bear, and Jess. I loved reading about all of them.

Cassie is just starting out at Palm South University. She's attending with her best friend, Paris. Her and Paris have been Best friends forever, College may change that. Cassie is a down to earth girl. Cassie and Paris join different sororities. I'm not really a big fan of Paris

I only picked up this one to read because I wanted something light-hearted, fun, and full of drama.

That is exactly what I got.

I thought I would like the way that this book was written, in a tv episode like style, but I found myself getting lost in the chapters. It was hard to keep up with who's POV I was currently in... I had to keep flipping back to the chapter head to see who I was reading. It made things a little annoying and I think I would of just preferred a whole book in third person in
