Her deceiving ways leaves her in a world of trouble that even Tom Ford or Christian Louboutin can’t get her out of and she is left with having to deal with the aftermath of her decisions. The Pastor’s Ex’s explored the lives of three friends who all coincidentally find themselves on the flip side of marriage and the trials and tribulations they face as they navigate through this unfamiliar season in their lives.
This little series is quite interesting. Three women, married to pastors, are going through their own little turmoil. Brooke stole from the church. Elise husband's is sleeping with a younger woman and Reagan married a man she did not love; pushed by her parents. The book left you hanging for more information at the end.
I see Elise and Bryson's marriage as the least likely to continue because he has moved out of their home and now has a young mistress. Brooke is in love money and what Mark can provide for her. Spoiled adult. And Raegan's still in love with Zion and not her husband, Demetrius. They have been married for ten years and she refuses to have his baby. Not looking for her to stay faithful either. Time to read Season Two of this series.
This book consist of three churches, pastors and wives that has went through years of marriage with little reasons but not the foundation been told in the stories of each character of why all the pastors want to let their wives go and continue their lives without them. The writing do catch your attention and makes you want more due to the lack of past history, development of each character and the lack of thought out chapters. It keeps you guessing about the trouble that is happen as the stories of each character unfolds, but as the story ends of the 75 pages of the lives of each character leaves a hole of disappointment of no return. Good luck with the next installment
Pastor's Ex's is about three married couples but you have to look at it like six different people in life changing situations. Jessica Robinson knows how to bring her individual characters to life. I was able to know each one of them and their tendencies. For sure you are either going to be patient and watch as the drama unfolds or you are going to be impatient wanting to know everything right now. Soon you learn, the author runs this and will satisfy your appetite real soon. You will enjoy this author's style so woman! Gotta go reading Season Two.
Interesting read about pastors and their home lives regarding their wives. Just when I was getting to a real good part of the book it was ending. Looking forward to series number 2.
The title caught my attention I love christian fiction and having patience from the people in book. BUT this awesome can,t wait to read part two. I love this author writing style,I read this in two hours. Love it
This book had a little drama and kept my interest. While this was a good read I feel as though the book just stopped at the end. I know that there is a book 2 but I feel as though it could've just been added to book 1.
While slow in the beginning for me, I felt more angry at Eloise husband. But I can't wait for the drama to continue!!!! Brooke deserves a taste of her own medicine!
I liked this story. I gave it 4 stars because it seemed to get you riled up then stops but maybe because there is a part 2. So now on to the second part!!
