Ever take a road trip with somebody you just recently met?
That's what Ginny and Bree do together.....A ROCK- in - ROLL road trip!

Bree has a daughter who attends a private boarding school. Her daughter, Victoria, 15 years old, has dreams to become a lawyer. Bree despises lawyers....and tells her new friend, Ginny, that her daughter is "cute kid, but a pain I the butt".
Does, that give you a hint about the health of their mother/daughter relationship?
So, ... Bohemian - free- spirited - spontaneo

I’d have to start off this review of Satisfaction by saying that you will find yourself constantly humming different Stones tunes as you read. Or perhaps that is just me – but that was my experience. Perhaps a fortuitous one.

Ginny is married, but when she discovers her husband’s infidelity, packs it all in and went off to follow the Rolling Stones on tour throughout the US, while she decides what to do with her hurt and anger. Traveling solo on an adventure to find some joy in your life is an ad

As a music fan I was very excited to read this story of a road trip following the Rolling Stones. I loved how this was all about Ginny and Bree two polar opposites who meet through fate and without knowing it help each other find themselves and figure out who they are and what is truly important.

Ginny is young and left her husband after finding out he cheated on her with one of her coworkers. On impulse she buys tickets to her favorite group the Rolling Stones and decides she is going to followi

I received this book through Netgalley for an honest review.

I really wanted to like this book!
A story about Ginny making a roadtrip and following around her favourite band? What's not to like about it!
But it failed to capture me.

When Ginny finds out her husband has been cheating on her, she takes off on a crazy roadtrip to follow around her favourite band, The Rolling Stones. During her trip she meets Bree who is everything Ginny believes she isn't: Wild and Spontaneous. They continue their trip

So this was a cute summer read. Enjoyable to float around in the pool and read about two women running away from their responsibilities and following the Rolling Stones on tour.

Ginny is the oldest 22 year old I've ever heard of. She acts like she has been living the old married life for a hundred years. Her obsession with the Rolling Stones bordered on weird. I'm all about being a fan (hello, Bono!), but trying to tie every event of her life into lyrics or

Man, I really wanted to love this one. Throwing everything out the window and following your favorite band around the country? That's right up my alley. The book, however, was not.

It never really took off. Ginny is supposed to be a young woman who leaves her husband but she's written as more of a middle-aged housewife who hasn't been single in a couple decades. Bree, the older free spirit Ginny meets along the way, is written like a seventeen year old with wild oats to sow. The friendship didn'

Two polar opposite characters come together in an interesting way to create this story. A 22 year old ole soul Ginny Martin recently left her husband of 4 years as she found out he was cheating on her. On the opposite side a young soul wanderer Bree couldn't find comfort in long term relationships or as a mother to her child. Together they end up on a road trip following the Rolling Stones band and end up influencing each other.

I am usually a fan of road trips, but this one didn't quite feel as

Loved the mashup of road trip, music and independent women.

Also loved the bonding between the two main characters, Ginny and Bree, who were able to form a friendship despite there differences in age and experiences.

This story had a Thelma and Louise (film) vibe that kept a fun pace to the end.

Lessons learned from the past and in the present created wonderful character development for both characters. Warm and fuzzy feelings gained for the two made me root for their success.

Got me listening to

This was another book whose synopsis promised more than the story was able to deliver, at least for me. The descriptions of the Rolling Stones concerts the characters attended were great, but unfortunately they were the best part of the book. The friendship that was described just didn't seem as well-developed as some other fictional friends--all they seem to have in common is their love of the Stones and their anger at men. Hearing about those two subjects gets old after a while.

The book was a
