Who goes home with someone they just met (after a blind date), and can't read between the lines that sex is on the table? Who goes home with a stranger, period? Our heroine, that's who.

From that moment forward I lost all respect for Skylar.

When I read the blurb I was expecting her to be seriously torn between two men. She had the hots for any man who paid her attention, but she was clearly only interested in one of the two men described in the blurb.

I spent the rest of the book trying to figure out why Theo wanted her so much.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.

I was so excited to read this book because the other two were awesome. I will say that this one was good. I felt like I knew what was going to happen. Don't get me wrong it doesn't keep me from reading a book or loving it. I just wanted more.

Skylar is trying to be more than an assistant. Her boss Addison (Never Kiss a Stranger), has given her a chance to be an agent and she wants to shine. She is trying to overcome her past and project all that she wants to be. Enter Theo, gorgeous, rich, and seemingly arrogant.
Skylar assumes the worst of him, having met his type before. She is in for quite a surprise though because Theo is nothing like the men before him. However, competition arrives for Theo in the form of a blind date via friends. Cory is charming, kind, and overall sweet. He is the perfect guy...well, except that - wait I can't tell you. You will just have to read it.

I hope more come to follow. I love this series.

Pretty good

I enjoyed the book, & I like the authors' writing style, but this was my least favorite of the series. A couple things bothered me with this one.

First, it was a little more in the YA category for me, at least until the end. The first two were much more steamy. The end redeemed it, but just a personal preference.

The thing that really bothered me was that Skyler kept putting herself in bad situations with men. We can all talk about no means no at any point in the progression of an evening, but it's just never fair, in my opinion, to get a man revved up & then shut him down. It's just not a smart thing to do. I also didn't like the roommate pushing her cousin on her so hard. Since Skyler doesn't know him, he must not have been a regular fixture in Nina's life. Then, all the sudden the guy is always there. Definitely read the first two in the series, but this one came up a little short for me.

Closed out strong!

I really enjoyed every book in this series. The last often tries to strangle you from moving forward in the future...loved that they moved past all of that together. The way the story connected i didn't see that at all. Winter did a great job writing and the never series doesn't disappoint.

Great Read

Winter Renshaw has become one of those authors whose work I love so much that I just automatically buy her books. This is the story of Theo, who makes a brief appearance in an earlier book and Skylar, who is a real estate agent who works with Addison from a previous book. From the beginning Theo is smitten with Skylar, but she is very gun shy about relationships. It takes a LOT for Skylar to allow herself to fall for Theo but I loved Theo's persistence! There is great chemistry between them but it takes a LONG time for them to get their groove on, but it's worth the wait. Like most of her books, there are often little gestures that makes us smile because love is often felt in the little gestures. Hope this isn't the end of the series.

This book was okay. Quick read, well written as always. Full of tropes, but that's okay too.

Not happy with Skylar's roommate, who vouched for her cousin. And the reason why Theo's former friend did all that bad stuff to him seemed rather weak.

But the writing is always solid, and the emotional connections - between characters and between myself and the characters - are strong. Overall an enjoyable read.

Another great story by Winter! This book keeps you on edge. It's amazing to be able to listen to and close your eyes and see everything happening. They say Never judge a book by its cover. Funny the book says done judge people by their cover! Theo and Skylar are awesome! She's self conscious he's full of confidence. A match made in heaven?

The love story between Theo and Skylar is very interesting. How Theo try to make Skylar fall in love with him. How Skylar try to avoid her feeling to Theo because his a split personality of her ex. And there was Corey the perfect guy in Skylar mind. I really like the story. And I like Theo persistent to get what he want.

Last one

So this was the last book of the series. Even though they are stand alone, the characters are still included in all the books. This one was by far my favorite. Skylar and Theo where a sexy couple. This was a fairly tale story that I really enjoyed listening to. Thanks

Enjoyed!!

I enjoyed this book and the two others that proceeded it. I felt it was more reality than not and loved the story. Especially the fact about Skyler and her self esteem issue. Thanks for the escape!

This was an ok read. Skylars insecurities led her to be more immature and indecisive than was enjoyable to read. The back and forth thoughts between the two guys wasn’t my cup of tea. Thea’s character was ok. He liked Skylar for who she was, but he was a bit broody at times and it was also hard to connect with him. It was an easy read that kept my attention though.

A lot of emotion in this one. Skylar had no clue. I absolutely hated Cory even before knowing who he was. And Theo was sweet, he had my voted since the beginning.

This is a sweet story about troubled souls who find each other and a happy ending! I did not like Theo and Skyler's story as much as the other two books!

Just loved this series. How she didn’t want to be judged but was judging others. So many twists, but just an all round great romance. Narration was awesome too.

The plot was good, better than the 2nd book, but the final part of the book is too rushed and a bit not believable.

Two men. One winner. The prize? Her heart.

Sometimes in life we battle to be the best of ourselves and once we get there we find it hard to believe it. Both Theo and Skylar have been through so much and finding each other was like a shot in the dark. Society "tells" us what we should be, but these two characters self fulfilled. It's so hard when you struggle with your self esteem but they brought the best out in each other. Great story!

***A gifted copy was provided by the author for my honest review******

WOW! The author does it again by writing a fabulous story which kept me glued to my kindle and wouldn’t let me get any sleep until I finished this book, for which she is forgiven.

The couple in this book is people who know each other like 6 degrees of separation. There is Skylar who is Addie’s assistant (Addie was the heroine in book 1 “Never Kiss a Stranger” ) and then the hero is Theo is a billionaire –well is new to the money after an idea he had went HUGE and now he is rich and oh, by the way, he is Addie’s cousin by marriage- we met him in book two “Never is a Promise”.

Both the MC in this story has such rich backgrounds that give them such heartbreaking stories that make you want to sooth their pain. Skyler is getting her feet “wet” showing properties for Addie and she is new to New York—she is learning how to be a real estate agent/broker under Addison. She loves her job and she worries about how she looks. What no one realizes is that back up until college, she was very overweight until she slimmed down and when she got to New York, she dated a guy who went out with her and used her as “arm candy”. Skyler is still getting over that pain. Then she ends up showing this one property to this one gentleman and something about him has her wondering . He is baffling as a client and he is driving her up the wall with his wants but he still is very handsome.. As the story goes on, you see more of her character and how she is a bit naïve about life and people, especially men. (I.E. Corey- go back to earlier statement about the six degrees of seperation)

Theo is a handsome man who wants what he wants. He is a go getter yet he has been used by women, friends in the past(I,E Corey--see told you about the six degrees of seperation ) so he doesn’t trust freely like he used to. His parents just up and left him with a mentor and he grew up with that family until something happened. That family became his family and they shaped the man he is today. He is super cocky and does not hesitate to stand up for himself; Works hard for his company –strong work ethic! Theo is moving to NY from LA and he was needing help to find a place so Addie suggested Skylar to him since she is busy. This is how they meet and it’s this chemistry between them. Theo found out she had a date and he had her break it- just so he could have her attention. Oohh that was deliciously naughty of him.

Theo wants to get all of Skyler’s attention but she’s not biting the bait. Even though they just met, the chemistry is so good, the heated scenes are awesome. There is wanting, needing that you can reading vibing thru the air. Skylar is making Theo work for her time and attention instead of being an afterthought and it looks like finally things are working.

But there is a serpent in garden of their Eden- there is a hinky character named Corey- this is someone in Theo’s past. He is NOT a good guy and let’s just say he is out to do MAJOR damage and revenge. Theo and Skyler end up in a fight, are separated and there is this HUGE agenda which this person has been undertaking all to get back at Theo. Theo almost loses two very important thing in his life(Skyler and his business). He has to decide whether or not to give in or to let go. The twists that take place will have you wondering what just happened.

There are some intense emotions here in this story and it is heart pounding at times. There are games being played that made me wonder if the MC would ever make it. The ending of the story is absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend this book.

MY RATING: 4.8 STARS *****

A thoroughly engaging romance that pulls you in until the very end!!!!!

I received an ARC of Never Say Never by Winter Renshaw for an honest review. What can I say except that I loved this book!!! I truly enjoy reading books by Miss Renshaw because they feel so real, like I'm standing next to the characters, interacting with them and passing them on the streets. You can tell the professionalism with which Miss Renshaw writes by how well edited her books are. Scenes have smooth transitions and an easy flow. All a reader has to do is sit back and enjoy the ride!!!

The characters are so real, they could be you and me.

Skylar is an up and coming real estate agent under the tutelage of Addison. She has a past like any of us, she was an overweight youth that was mocked and constantly harassed, who decided in college to take control of her life and shed her weight. She is now a knock out beauty who has to deal with guys who only see her outside and who don't care to actually get to know her. This being said, she has become jaded to the point that she is doing the same thing she hates that guys do to her. Judging them by their looks!!!

Theo (***yummy***) is a billionaire/trillionaire in the making who had a rough start in life. Abandoned by his parents as a teenager and raised in a well-to-do family, he was taken under the "father's" wing and molded into the man he is today. He is a confident, successful, knows what/who he wants kind of guys that goes after what he wants. He also happens to be Addison's cousin-in-law and newly moving to New York.

These two were thrown together to find a place for Theo to purchase. He has exacting standards in what he wants. She is still pretty "green" around the collar but does not want to screw this acct up. Sparks slowly simmer (more slowly for Skylar) but the energy and banter between these two is so endearing to witness, you can't help but wish you were Skylar and having such attention showered on you. Though Theo has to work for Skylar's attention because she doesn't believe he is to be trusted, especially with her history with billionaire gentlemen. She is at the same time accepting dates from other guys who appear to be the complete opposite of Theo.

It is a race to see who will win Skylar's attention, trust and heart. Will Theo come out the victor and prove her assumptions were wrong? Or will she be right to assume Theo's motivation/game?

This is a must read romance, and this is a romance there is some adult sexual scenes but the book is not overwhelming in that content. Miss Renshaw is easily an author whose books I would feel comfortable to read in public without blushing the entire time. She writes about the build up to love so well that she just captures your attention and holds on until you are begging for more books to be written and fast!! Miss Renshaw, you keep writing, and I'll keep reading and reviewing!!!!

Beauty is only skin deep.

Skylar is a chubby girl inside a bombshell body. She harbours past insecurities and hurt from a lifetime of being bullied at school because of her weight. Even though she looks amazing now, the past is really difficult to completely release, especially following a more recent disastrous relationship.

Theo is gorgeous and a workaholic. He’s from dead-end origins then lucked out with an unofficial ‘foster’ family. His foster parents took him under their wing, nurtured him and set him on the path to success. However, a betrayal from someone he loved like a brother has left him virtually alone.

Skylar is attracted to Theo from their first meeting in the story. Unfortunately, she thinks she’s seen his rich, womaniser type before and tries to steer clear of him. However, she soon discovers that there is much more to him beneath his polished exterior.

Theo is intrigued and captivated by Skylar from the outset. He finds her a confusing mix of innocence and sexiness. He’s aware that she’s guarded and careful.

As Theo is new in town and living in a hotel, he doesn’t really have any friends, so Skylar extends the hand of friendship to him. As the story unfolds, we find their friendship developing, and Skylar having to fight hard against her growing feelings for Theo.

Into the mix comes Cory, her flatmate’s cousin. He seems the epitome of her dream man. But, is he too perfect? Personally, I found him a tad creepy!

There’s a bit of mystery thrown into the mix and a discerning reader may realise quite soon what the twist is. The whole book was smooth, enjoyable reading. I felt that this story lacked the combustible chemistry present between the main characters in the author’s first book, however, there was a solid vein of desire, attraction and feeling running through it.

This was a appealing read because we were introduced to Skylar in Never Kiss a Stranger. It was quite interesting to follow two painstakingly lonely people, a realtor and her client, apartment shopping in New York city, strangers essentially become friends and their lives become entwined as he negotiates his business on the west coast and she finds him a property. They are both VERY attractive. Both have well hidden secrets. He is her first big client and if she can secure the perfect house for him it will be her first sell and she will be so happy that Addison gave her the chance on this one. Watching these two obviously attracted to each other people teetering around on the edge of a relationship and then finally boom - come together at just the right time. Meanwhile, we are consistently surrounded by her roomy Nina and her fiance, Charlie. This couple is planning to be married soon and are very much in love and their romance is a sweet constant rhythm in the background. Nina often tries to "help" Skylar with her dating life in a very determined way, enter: her cousin Cory. Cory is hot on Skylar's path and all seems to be going well, he might have potential? or game well lets just say...that's when things get interesting. Loved it, can be read alone but if you read, Never Kiss A Stranger, first the sequence of events will flow naturally. Can't wait to read the next Winter Renshaw book release!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC to review this book and it did not disappoint. This book is part of a series but I believe it can be read as a stand alone.

Skylar is getting a chance to become a real estate agent after a few years as an assistant. She is finally comfortable in her skin after a years of being bullied for her weight. She has also learned that looks are not everything and this leads to some distrust of her newest real estate client Theo. Skylar sees Theo as just another rich guy who takes what he wants when he wants. Theo is attracted to Skylar when her meets her but he realizes there is more to her than just her looks. If only Skylar would give him a chance to prove there is also more to him than just his money.

I liked this story. I love stories where people have real issues. They are so realistic because these are things people go through everyday. I also love how the relationship between Skylar and Theo grew. There was attraction but it was truly based on friendship. As if Skylar didn't try hard enough to keep them apart, there were some other roadblocks in this relationship that kept you guessing will they or wont they get together.

Overall I have been in a bit of a book slump. I feel like I have been reading the same type of stories over and over. This author brought something fresh with this story and I really enjoyed it.
