Oh my glory! What another deliciously spicey sweet treat Mina has cooked up for us - AGAIN! Turned by the Billionaire Werewolf by Mina Carter is the second release in her Kingwood Pack, Paranormal Badboy Billionaire Werewolf Romance Series and it totally rocks. This is a short quick read with a not so happy for now ending and definitely packs quite the punch! The story is exciting, thrilling, romantic, sensual and arousing. The dialogue is smart, seductive, exceptionally well written, well edited and flows effortlessly. The characters are captivating, engaging and sexy as sin. Ou-La-La!!! Mina has brilliantly combined these elements into an enchanting paranormal romance. Up until three weeks ago, beautiful Eva Tennant had never had a problem with stress, and panic attacks were something that only happened to other people. She had always been an independent and self sufficient woman who made her own way in the world of business. Maybe not big business but she certainly rocked the world of cupcakes, parties and weddings. And now because of one stupid decision by her younger brother, Davie, she could lose her home, her business, her savings - everything she's ever worked to have but worst of all, Davie could lose his life. Apparently her little brother had taken money and made a deal with vampires. He lost their money and couldn't repay them, and now, it was left up to her to do something about it - today! I was gifted this Sweet hot and sexy short. Mina just has some awesome talent to put her stories down for us to enjoy. It just keeps getting better and better. I've so fell in love with her short series.
Alex and Eva continue together, they can't seem to be in each others presence a short time before they're both all hot and bothered. Alex thinks often enough how it would be to have Eva around all the time. The problem is Eva is human...
Eva has a lot on her plate running her business, keep track of her wayward brother and a mother that would be hard for anyone to love. Lets not forget Alex... she is his "guest" for a short time.
It amazes Alex that Eva isn't like other women, even being confined to his home she works. when she puts not only herself in danger but his men...they seriously bump heads. Even being mad wont stop the rawr heat they both envoke in each other.
Mina!! you had to end it there!? Runs around screeching like a banshee....

This installment was one heck of a roller coaster. It has equal parts intimate moments with action and drama. I have to admit that I love when the hero is brought to his knees and shocked into admitting his love. Look what happened when he acted all stubborn and 'upset' I'm glad he still had people to follow her. And boy oh boy, look out Davie, the wolves are coming for you...

I'm sorry but this just wound me right up. TSTL heroines are the bane of any good story.
I could understand Eva a little bit going off to find her brother even though she sneaked out to do so.
But after causing all those deaths in the fight when she had to be protected from the Pixies, she doesn't even wait 5 mins before dashing out the door after her stupid wayward brother AGAIN.
Of course Davey the brother, has always been a rotten egg but now as a new vampire he attacks Eva.
Alex arrives in time to find Eva dying so he attempts to convert her to wolf.
Will it work?

I cant wait for book 3. Mina...you tease us! :) So, Alex is kind of a jerk. He's kinda gotta be because hes alpha and has to be in control. On one hand he denies wanting her past a weekend then he really wants Eva for keeps but knows because she is human he cant have her because of the laws. Ah what to do...poor wittle Alex. LOL. Eva is just awesome but utterly stupid sometimes. She is one of those who doesnt THINK before she acts or thinks about the fallout or ramifications. Of course he didnt explain things to her very well either. Why he wanted her to stay inside the apartment and not wanting her to go off on her own. Wasn't cool that he put all that guilt on her about losing those 2 wolves because thats sorta on him because he didnt stress the importance of her safety and why. All she really knew is that Alex supposedly took care of the threats/vampires. She had no idea what his world was like til those Faery's attacked. Her brother unfortunately was turned and I kinda saw that coming. He's not her brother anymore but attacks her and practically drains her and Alex finds her and realizes how much he loves her and never told her. Then it ends bum bum bum...saga continues. :) Loved it as always.

It was AWESOME! Best dang .99 cents I have spent on a book! Every word was used perfectly to continue the story. It flowed effortlessly. An absolute delight to read.
Both main characters, Eva & Alex, are well defined and easy to connect with. Their actions make sense. Their attraction to each other comes through the pages as Electric and Sizzling Hot!
No typo's. No redundancy. No yawns. NO Boring moments! Extremely well structured.
A super quick, hot read that leaves your Toe Nails Curled.

Turned by the Billionaire Werewolf by Mina Carter is the next chapter in her Kingwood Pack series. Honestly this is a hard one to review. I am not a huge fan of serials...like really not a fan at all...but I put up with it because I love Mina's writing style and she is such a quick writer that I only have to wait a couple of weeks in anticipation for the next chapter. So even though I'm mad at Mina for getting me addicted to these short stories I will have to say this chapter may be the best so far in her werewolf universe. Even if it has a heck of a cliffhanger...that is another thing I hate...cliffhangers. Good thing Alex and Eva's story is fascinating because I almost broke my computer over the ending.
It is really hard to review because I don't want to spoil the story. Read it. It has sexy times, love, betrayal, death, and pixies....pixies that definitely need their own spin-off!!!

Too many options
Eva and Alex can not seem to get enough of each other. However, an opportunity arises where Eva tricks the lycan guarding her and takes off in search of her brother.
A pack of Pixies waited for her to exit her brother's studio. Attempting to show no fear she tried to walk past them just to be blocked. Without warning a pack of lycans attack and a fight til the death erupts.
Alex is so angry with Eva for leaving without protection, he yells at her and points to all those who died trying to protect her. He is so upset he throws a keycard for her to come and go.
Upon receiving a phone call from her brother, she leaves to rescue him.
Too late, Alex finds her on the brink of death.
Should he let her die and never love again?
Should he force a vampire to feed her blood and thus turn her into the enemy? The only other choice is to bite her and hope she survives the turn and doesn't hate him if she does.

Another Great Shorty!
This is another great shorty; this is the second book of the Kingwood Pack series by Mina Carter. This book picks up where the first one ends with Eva and Alex pending the weekend with each other. She made a deal with Alex that she will stay with him as long as he wants her too. Alex has wanted her for years and now that he has her he doesn’t want to let her go. But if he keeps her he needs to turn her into a werewolf and his mate. If you are looking for a hot, spicy short read then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to the next book.

Addicted to this storyline
Wow this short is intense right from the start. I so need the next part of this story. There is so much going on that when the ending of this section hits you you are like ohhhhhh nooooooo not here. Then you realize you are so hooked and it is toooo late now......lol. The passion is intense from both sides. The sexy hot passionate scenes are beyond description. Just when I thought Mina couldn't write them any hotter she so does. Wow now I need a cold shower.

Oh wow. What's a girl to do when her little brother is in debt over his head with vampires that will kill him if he don't pay. She makes a deal with a very sexy billionaire werewolf. As Eva gets in deeper with Alex her sexy alpha her brother disappears. Oh no this can't be good. Forbidden from leaving his big high rise apartment with out a guard, Eva gets into trouble for slipping the guards. What happens next pick up a copy and find out. This story has love,hate,and some hot hot sex.

Amazingly addictive story!
Oh. My. God. This story just keeps getting better and better! I sat up, totally engrossed in what was happening, totally invested in what Alex and Eva were going through. Her brother Davie though, reminded me of some people that I've known who live without the fear of consequences. You might start to hate him too. Eva and Alex though, wow, they are so hot together, it's crazy! I don't think I have read one Mina Carter book that wasn't a keeper though. I can hardly wait for the next part to be released! This book is so good!

This was great. It obviously isn't the end, but it isn't just a middle story, either. It is sexy, the heroine is feisty, and there is a lot of action. There are gargoyles, pixies and vampires, in addition to the werewolves. Our human heroine doesn't know enough about the paranormal races and gets herself into hot water. Our hero, though, takes care of her as best he can. What makes it hard for him to take care of her are her uninformed actions.

Awe man
This was just getting to the meat of the story.. Well done ms. Carter.
This is the second book in the Kingwood pack series. Eva has been trying to protect her little brother all their lives.it may have just cost Eva her's. This is a short story set in the same world of master of the city..
I would recommend this to anyone who has followed Mina's mini smut stories it's a little longer but it's still good

This sucks!!! Massive cliff hanger and now we wait an undetermined amount of time for the next one?!?

Wonderful vampire read
Eva has made peace with being with Alex. Alex knows he is in too deep with a human he can never keep, but he loves with all his heart. With vampires and policies tossed into the mix, all help was bound to break loose. Davie is true scrum and Alex has a horrendous decision to make. I read this quickly and plan to read the next just as fast.

Amazing book
Oh love this second part to this series of kept me on my toes and the surprise ending made me cry. Mina Carter's books are amazing and I am patiently waiting the third book in the series

Ugh, cliffhanger!
Normally, a book that leaves me hanging like this one wouldn't get such high marks. However, this was so well written and I am so invested in these characters that I am eagerly awaiting the release of the next installment.
