Entirely strange and much more attractive than the film - the viewpoint is absolutely changed. I saw the Robin Williams role as eccentric, now I realise that the man was desperate and quite pessimistic about his family. great dialogues, adventurous and with knowledge of family dynamics, especially the one with teenagers, adolescents and pets.
As a massive fan of the movie, I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy this book, but it now seems to be one my favourite reads of all time! Equally as unique and touching as the film, yet not a carbon copy. The humor and warm-nature of the story is the underpinning that makes it both an amazing book, as well as an unforgettable film. I'm so glad I came across this book, and will certainly be recommending it to others
-Question 1) The husband was good at acting like a women Have you acted like a man? - No, not at all! I want to have very short hair and wear black suit like a man! It sounds interesting.
2) The main character divorced his wife and met his children once a week. What do you think it is good for their children? - Of course the best way is to live the same house and raise children together, but if it is difficult, to meet once a week is good idea.
Divorce is one of the big problem, and it is important to think how to raise children after divorce. I think the way to meet children as a housekeeper is a good way!
