This was the fourth volume in a series of original short science fiction stories edited by Roy Torgeson and initially published by Zebra Books. It contains a collaborative novelette by Charles L. Grant (whose name is amusingly misspelled on the table of contents as Grand) and Thomas F. Monteleone that might well have been equally at home in a horror anthology, a short Spider Robinson, a short excerpt of an Octavia Estelle Butler novel, and an interesting R.A. Lafferty story, among others. My favorite was a novelette by Orson Scott Card, Eumenides in the Fourth Floor Lavatory.
