Dear Author,
It was supposed to be basic find and retrieve job even if the planet was little known and in the edge of the territories. Nothing went right with that job. My ship got damaged on the landing, there is nothing but jungle out here and I have no idea where the thing I’m looking for could even be and now I have apparently found the natives too. I so don’t need any

I had been warned that this book was one big cocktease, but I was still unprepared for the frustration that occurs when a GIANT BLUE COCK on the verge of sinking into a tight ass is INTERRUPTED by a plot attack.

It was hard. YES. Very much so.

Seriously, WHY?

This is a relatively light and romantic story with some cool world building and Insta Love galore.

I don't mind Insta Love, especially when it involves interspecies mating.

What I DO mind is that one of the MCs, Sol, is nearly 8 feet of solid

I loved this novella more than I think I would. 😍 Although it’s only about 100 pages, I feel like it’s so much more than that. The world building is just fantastic and beautiful. And although Lexi Ander didn’t give us a lot on MCs characteristics, what she gave us was excellent. 👍

Toby, a former Federation officer, the current employee of Wentworth Salvage. He got his heart brutally broken just recently and to make things worse, his ex is stalking and abusing him by sending hatemails. Tired of

Not deep but very sweet. It reads very M/F, very coy, very... cockteaser-y- "I'm not that kind of girl", or in this case boy.

Toby is another big un who needs to bottom. I believe I've made my feels known on this trope. Thus far his needs have been unfulfilled. Now to add insult to injury, he's being ridiculed and tormented by his asshat ex who keeps sending him porn home vids of him getting plowed by other dudes.

Never fear! Sol and his c

I enjoyed this one a lot of reread. Lexi Ander is still one of my favorite authors for sci-fi. I love the worlds and characters she creates. And there's always a sweet romance that I just eat up. My only complaint is I want more!

Originally read February 2018

This was a sweet and perfect mate story. Lexi Ander is one of my favorite authors for sci-fi and this one had cocktecales! One can never have too many of those 😉. Both heroes were great and the epilogue was sweet. A nice read

I've always been a sucker for tentacles , but this one? this one was so good, it grasped and fed every tick box that I have! Absolutely loved it, a brilliant addition to this year's wonderful event, they just seem to get better and better. ...more
I took a chance on this story because of the image in the prompt. It was so very different than anything else I'd seen, and I wanted to know what Lexi Ander had done with it.

I'm not usually one for Sci-Fi or speculative fiction, nor do I usually seek out books that take place hundreds of years in the future, with space travel and interplanetary travels and such things.

But, oh man. The image prompt. One of the men has tentacles that extend from his head. He's blue. His male appendage is massive.

This was a well-written, innovative, romantic sci-fi romp, featuring a human finding love and companionship with a sexy, tentacled, alien warrior.

I enjoyed it. It had a similar vibe to Robin Moray’s Changed: Mated to the Alien Alpha, only shorter and less developed. Fans of one should enjoy the other.

Thanks to the author for participating and offering this freebie

Alien insta-insta that's surprisingly sweet and shows them getting to know each other.

BUT it's a Huge COCKTACLES-tease!

I'm usually more for the slow-build, here I was thinking hurry-up and have sex already - come on people, one of the characters has cock-tentacles for hair, the expectation is not for prim tight-knicker angsting!

Major COCKTACLES-tease!

They're about to get busy and, and, and our hot alien loving is interrupted for plo

Altogether satisfying read, with solid sci-fi world-building, an unexpected dynamic between the lovers and, drumroll, TENTACLES. And seriously, there cannot be too many of those in my opinion and this one has the added benefit of being nothing like the usual squirmy, non-con fare. I'd even recommend to those (unfortunate souls) who think they hate tentacles to give this story a try, since at heart it's a good-natured hurt-healing tale with two ridiculously sweet but also sexy heroes.

Many thanks

I loved this sci-fi, tentacled offering. Yep, you heard right - I've delved into tentacles and loved it.

Lord help me.

This reminds me of James Cox's work, which is never going to be a bad thing!!

Thanks for this offering for the DRitC event.
Sci-fi Harlequin!
I really liked this! It works with me.

Thank you for partipating in this event and sharing this with us, Dear Author. :))
Holy mother-fucking tentacle sex!!! NSFW (view spoiler)
Offered for FREE from the M/M Romance Group's Love Is An Open Road event. Thank you too all the amazing authors who participated!

Given the hot photo prompt, this is actually a sweet little story. It's a fair amount of set-up, which I was totally fine with, although a lot of small side things never really got the full conclusion/explanation that I thought they deserved (view spoiler)

Huge GRIN. Certainly not your usual aliens story. No dub-con non-con slavery whatnots here. The aliens, the Vohnahs, came in various colour as they were florae or descended from flowers. Their courting phase started with they're washing their intended feet and feeding them. And how their species bred was just so cute! XD

So, overall sweet interracial love story with a bit of action scenes mixed in, plus some not-too-kinky smexy times (with those cocktackles in abundance one would imagin

Toby is captain of a space ship, send to a seemingly primitive planet to salvage a wrecked carrier. He just emerged from a bad breakup, and his heart is still a bit fragile. On this new planet, he met Sol, a humanoid native, and is instantly smitten. So is Sol. And Sol's amazingly handy tentacles!

The story is what the tags promised - light hearted tentacle fun with a generous helping of heart. It is not PWP, in fact there is quite a good plotline and worldbuilding, and not enough smut - I mean,

Very sweet short read and I got it for free on the M/M Romance Group.

I felt sad for Toby, that his needs were never met by any lover (especially that jerk Spencer). Thankfully, Sol has just what he craves. Those tentacles were sexy as hell :D

It was super cool that Sol's people (view spoiler)

Totally sucked in and refused to move until I finished. Loved the world building, and the creation of Sol's alien race and home planet. Toby, a human, whose heart had been recently shredded encounters Sol while working a salvage mission for his father's company. But the mission turned out to be more than a simple extraction. Insta-lust and down right sexy. A bit of tentacle action that was so much better than any I'd read before. ...more

Not quite the tentacles I was looking for but I found other wonderful things here.

Some lovely world building of a culture I would happily visit again. Fascinated by the concept of carnivorous flower people. The characters were a bit insta love but had some depth. Aside from their various secretion uses, the tentacles were more touchy feely things to play with and be held by rather than the typical penetrative type.
Build-up was perfect for a longer story, which I would have loved. More time for tentacle sex, please and thank you. What we got was awesome, but not nearly enough.

Please tell me more stories are being written about the rescued aliens...sweet hurt-comfort stories, maybe?

how did lexi ander get so much worldbuilding (and species-building? is that a word? anyways) in a 30000 word erotica novella?? i am Impressed

By and far my favorite story I've read in a long while. While novella length we have a full backstory for both characters, spaceships, a nefarious group of villains, a burgeoning romance (and a few body parts *winks*) a very complex alien world... soooo much to enjoy! I was super satisfied with this story, and I'd love to read more set in this world. ...more

Another great book by Lexi Ander. Loved both Sol and Toby. Would love to read more set in this world.
Jeanne 'Divinae'

At first I thought Toby’s last name was Salvage and I thought the title was a play off his name. Nope. He just works as a salvage worker. Toby is retired military, getting over a past relationship with a man who didn’t respect or love him(a total jerk). He now works with his father’s company, who does salvaging.

This story takes place where there are several worlds, many forms of life and of course space. Toby, along with two crewmates, were sent on a simple mission. Go salvage a ship on the out

This had lovely potential. The sci-fi setting was wonderfully well done. The aliens were delightful. The chemistry between Toby and Sol was excellent. I was especially delighted with what the author did with Sol's tentacles, giving them the ability to secrete different substances for different purposes--fascinating!

I was disappointed that the tentacles weren't involved when they finally had sex. Felt like all of the build-up had been building up to a completely different story.

Aww, this was really sweet. For a sci-fi alien adventure. And before I forget, the alien had Cocktacles!!! I loved Toby and Sol(the alien). They were really great together but I thought they were never going to have sex. It was a total cocktacle tease (wink wink). But everything worked out eventually and there was a HEA. Which I love. So, not a typical Lexis Ander book, but still good. I hope she writes more from this world. I would love to read Wolfe's story(Toby's brother).

The story was great, and easily a situation I could see happening.

As I have come to expect from Ms Ander's science fiction stories when they contain aliens, the species was wonderful, well-thoguht-out, and captivating, with its own society, biology, and history different from humans'.

Definitely a must-read for sci-fi lovers.

A really interesting Sci-fi shirt story. The author did a good job with world build and characterization. The plot moves fast and it is more an adventure than a true romance.

The secondary characters were well fleshed and would like to see more stories set in this world.

If you are looking just for sex (based on the prompt pic) this isn't your story.

Lexi has always been an avid reader and at a young age started reading (secretly) her mother’s romances (the ones she was told not to touch).
