“I bet you can’t make Daisy fall for you by the end of the summer.”

This was a YA contemporary romance featuring a cocky pop star.
I felt quite sorry for Daisy at the start of this book. The way Trevin had let her down and stood her up was awful, and the fact that he wasn’t even sorry about it was even worse! I did think that her little revenge plot was maybe a ...more

I want to thank Entangled Teen for supplying me with a copy of this book to read and give an honest review. Receiving this book for free has in no way altered my review or opinion.
I have been hooked on this series from the beginning. I love the theme of rock star and ordinary girl meet and romance blossoms. It's what many young girls' dreams are made of. So to watch it play out across the page is not only fun, but fulfills a girlhood fantasy of mine!

Another great part of the Backstage Pass series!!!
Daisy's story starts out with what has to be one of the most humiliating things that could happen to a girl in high school. She had won a contest to have Trevin Jacobs take her to her Homecoming dance. But when he doesn't show up, in front of the whole town and all the local news stations, she vows to never want to be his fan again. Then, well, her mom is going out of the country with her new boyfriend, and so Daisy ends up going to spend the ti ...more

I feel like the best thing to compare this book to is cotton candy. I felt like I was walking through clouds of pink sugary fluff while reading this book. There were so many cute scenes in this book, and I ate it up! I found the romance to be really sweet, even though it felt a tad fast passed. I definitely said "awww" out loud during this book. If you love cute YA romances, then you definitely will get your fill of that with this book.

Daisy and the Front Man was such a fun, sweet and entertaining read.
I was drawn in from the first page, couldn't wait to read how these two would ever get together =)

I am really loving the Backstage Pass Series, they do not disappoint. Daisy and the Front Man is the third book in the series where we meet Daisy Morris and Trevin Jacobs, who are reunited by a leap of faith once again.

Daisy is a fangirl scorned. She won a contest for the band Seconds To Juliet and her prize was a date to homecoming with S2J's front man Trevin Jacobs--thing is, the dude stands her up--in front of half her town. Yep. She's a pariah.
So, she's more than toying with the idea of humiliating Trevin when she joins her father on the S2J tour. He's the chief bodyguard for the band, and Daisy now has has unlimited access.

This is the third book in the Backstage Pass series, and it is equally as adorable as the others! Like I've said before, they follow a boy band, Seconds 2 Juliet, and the ladies who get tangled up with them. They are YA, and they wont be for everyone. I wasn't even sure I would like them at first. But they have all been easy, one sitting reads for me, that just put a smile on my face! I have to love them for that. ...more

Daisy and Trevin already have a negative history before they meet. Her dad is one his bodyguards and she stays with him for the summer. This time she can meet with him in person!
Daisy had won a date with him to her Homecoming dance about a year ago. He stood her up to go to an award show. Now, he asks her to give him a chance. No knowing or remembering who she is.
Trevin is one of five members of the band, Seconds to Juliet. He is very popular and has a crazy schedule both on and off touring. He ...more

I really liked ‘Daisy and the Front Man’ and give it 4 stars. It’s a YA contemporary romance. It was a cute and fun story. It is well-written and fast-paced. You can easily read it in one go. The book has some really interesting moments and even though the plot is predictable, you still want to know how everything plays out.

I will start by saying that this book was way better than Mia and the Bad Boy, and probably even better than Aimee and the Heartthrob, but I couldn’t give it 3 stars (like I gave Aimee), because it still couldn’t quite grab my attention, and I ended up skimming a huge portion of the chapters.
Let me tell you what I felt was better than the previous books, ok?

Just as cute as the first two books of the series.
The Good
This series is just so damn adorable. I always have a goofy smile on my face while reading these books. Daisy and the Front Man was no different. It was fun, flirty, and silly.
Daisy was such a spitfire. What happened to her in the beginning was so sad, but I like how she was all about revenge, not pitying herself. I am a sucker for a revenge story. Though she could be immature ...more

I've enjoyed all of the Backstage Pass stories so far, but I have to say that Daisy and the Front Man was my favorite so far. I felt like it just had more conflict, both internal and external, that complicated the story and made the stakes much higher than in previous books. The author just took the story to another level from the prior books.

Imagine if you won a competiton for your favourite singer to take you to your homecoming, how excited would you be ? Especially if there are reporters waiting to film it ? Now sit back and imagine what would happen if that singer cancelled on you and didn't even give you enough pre-warning ? How embarrasing would that be ? For Daisy, that is what happened to her after she won a recycling competition and the prize was for Trevin from the band Seconds to Juliet taking her to homecoming. After his

This is the third book in the Teen and YA Backstage Pass series that I’ve read. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them all! They all involve members of the hottest boy band around - Seconds to Juliet - who are on tour and tell of how they each, in turn, meet their own Juliet. In this story, front man Trevin Jacobs is the band member who failed to turn up to escort Daisy Morris to her homecoming, despite her winning the date and it being televised. She was ridiculed to just receive an autographed photo of

This was probably closer to 2.5, but I'm rounding it up to 3 because I thought it ended well. I really liked Trevin in the first two books and was looking forward to his POV, but I actually liked him a LOT less in this one. I also thought both Miles and Ryder were portrayed as big jerks for most of the book, even though they were both supposed to be nicer after the events of the previous books. Daisy drove me crazy almost the whole time. She was way, way too overdramatic and very petty. There wa

Fun, low-stress read - kind of like ice cream on a summer day. Daisy's father is one of the bodyguards for Seconds 2 Juliet and when her mom goes on a summer vacation, Daisy goes to stay with her father for the summer. Daisy used to be a huge fan of S2J, until she won a contest and bandmember Trevin stood her up. Now she has a plan for revenge. Trevin has a plan as well. If he can make Daisy fall for him his bandmates will let him have uninterrupted time with a songwriter before the next album.

Although this book is a part of a series, you do not need to have read the others. I think that my thirteen year old self would love this book. This book reminded me a lot of How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days. You have the main guy who has entered into a bet to make the girl fall for him, and the girl who's determined to make the main guy look like a fool. It's not a bad read, it's just not for me anymore. Great read! The last place Daisy Morris wants to be for her summer break is on a tour bus with S2J! After front man Trevin Jacobs caused her ultimate humiliation in front of her entire school by not showing up as promised for the prom, she have vowed to hate him forever! Trouble is, he's a really nice guy and giving him the cold shoulder gets harder and harder!

This book took me a long time to read. I honestly lost interest after like five chapters or so. I managed to finished and even though they used a plot slightly different it always comes down to trust issues, and always it's the guy's fault, even when it's both parts, like in the first book and now this one. I'm curious about Nathan and he's the last one with a book so I guess I'll finish the series eventually.
