Exactly what I needed as a companion to A Thousand Ships. Short, snappy and informative with some cultural references more familiar to a modern reader. The summary lists to “keep in mind” at the end of each chapter were perfect as the myths are hella convoluted and sooo much goes on, it’s hard to keep up at times!
