Skewed towards the psychological, but still a fun history of the development of bathing suits from about the 1880s to the 1980s. Lots of color photos of actual garments and historical source material.

A look at bathing suits throughout the decades. Lots and lots of pictures but a decent amount of background supplied to make a point. Bibliography and citations supplied which is more than what I expected.
