I really liked the premise, and since the previous few books have been so great, I had really high expectations. This novel wasn't poorly written but I guess I feel it was lacking something that I can't quite pinpoint. I do love second chances in life but this book just kind of let me like it rather than love it. Having said all that, I give Love You Madly 3.5 like it but not love it stars.

Meredith was the mean girl in high school. She was homecoming queen and "the queen bee" who made fun of others. Now at 30, she has 2 failed marriages and one deceased spouse behind her and she's raising her stepdaughter. When Meredith's stepdaughter disappears after a night out, she hires a private investigator to help find her. Travis was a computer geek in high school and doesn't have happy memories of the mean girl who made his life hell. Travis is a different man than he was then, he's serve ...more

Yep, it's book two, and I haven't read book one. I didn't need to in order to understand anything in this one. And I don't plan to read book one.

Why am I not going back? This one was just meh. And this book should be rated G. There's just a hot kissing, and even that was meh. If it wasn't written so well, I'd want to give it two stars. I didn't really like Travis too much. I really didn't like Meredith. His friends annoyed me with how much they disliked Meredith over stuff

Love You Madly was a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I loved this novel.

I was immediately hooked in when I read the blurb, honestly, this just sounded like a book that was a little bit different to all the New Adult books, provided that excitement of butt kicking action with the subtle romance of two people who you never expected to find each other.

The whole suspense, romance and mystery behind the story, not to mention Travis, had me addicted to every word.

In high school, Meredith was the head cheerleader, the sweetheart of the school, the most popular and the most vicious. She terrorized other kids at her school and has paid for it dearly ... she lost her best friends, the people she thought she couldn't live without turned on her and she can't seem to keep a man by her side. She thought that she had it all figured out, she thought she knew who she was and what she wanted but that never turns out to

"If someone didn't want you, then to hell with them. Lesson learned. Because loving someone was a risk—it left you vulnerable."
Based on the cover (I'm all heart eyes over here!), I thought this would be a sexy kind of romantic suspense. Turns out there was very little [read: hardly any] sexy times/romance and a heck of a lot of heart-racing suspense. I didn't really mind the lack thereof but I felt kind of misled by the cover and title. The suspense aspect of the novel was great tho

When her beautiful, clever, step daughter disappears, Meredith Sanders uses all her contacts to hire the best private investigator, a former SEAL who now specialises in private security, to help find her. Back in High School, Meredith was the leader of a pack of ‘popular’ girls who made life difficult for many less fortunate than themselves, including computer geek Travis Brennan. When she first meets Travis to discuss her daughter she no longer recognises him but he remembers her very well - sh ...more

hm ... I liked the storyline, which had a lot of suspense in there. the charactesr were interesting and although I had some difficulties with Meredith in between as she is definitely a difficult character. but this made it also really interesting to read. I think this is one of the few contemporaries I've read, where the heroine is not really a nice person on the outside.
I would have loved to learn more about here and why she is as she is

the same holds true for Travis. if we learn little about M

Very entertaining read! A great storyline that years later, reunites the high school mean girl with the school geek who took the brunt of her abuse. Now she really needs help and he's not that puny geek anymore. Although she still has those mean girl tendencies, he agrees to help her when her daughter goes missing. There are lots of twists and turns in the story and I found it thoroughly enjoyable. I definitely recommend this one.

Role reversal and redemption stories are satisfying and rewarding on some level for everyone. In the case of Love You Madly, the once high and mighty, mean girl of the school, the Queen Bee, Meredith Sanders is now at the mercy of once lanky, geeky computer nerd, Travis Brennan. Oh sweet justice.
But this story is different for me because the only reason Meredith has to rely on Travis is because her step-daughter has gone missing. The daughter-card hits right at home with me. I can only hope tha

I have no idea where I picked this book up.

Meredith is frantic when her stepdaughter Darcy goes missing, even if the police think she is panicking over nothing. When her father pays for a private detective to investigate Meredith is horrified to find out that the detective Travis is the geek she mercilessly bullied in High School.

I liked this, it follows the tried and trusted suspense romance type plot, with the added twist that Meredith was a complete bitch at school (nicknamed Queen Bee) and p

I liked the premise that the female lead is the jerk in this one and the male was the injured party. Travis has a dislike for Meredith but does he really? He decides to help her when her stepdaughter goes missing. Poor Meredith has had a bad rap for so long, she doesn't even have friends! You really feel how much she loves Darcy and how she truly regrets all that has happened in the past. I love the how the love evolved, it was realistic and the ending was fabulous. Oh, the opening scene, I just ...more

Love You Madly is a fast-paced read full of lies, danger, and hanging-on-the-edge-of-your-seat suspense. I loved the premise of this book. The high school beauty queen who looked down her nose at the nerd, now needs that same nerd she was mean to in high school. The mystery element of this story is very well-written and keeps you guessing until the end. Travis is also great "book boyfriend" material. Great read for loungin

Meredith was the popular mean girl in high school (think Regina George) who was very cruel to Travis. When Meredith's step-daughter Darcy goes missing Meredith's father hires Travis Brennan to help locate her. Meredith came off as a little cold in the begining, she's almost 30 and has 3 marriages under her belt. Meredith and Travis had chemistry and I loved seeing that chemistry blossom into something more and Meredith thawing out. This book was suspensef

I was given an ARC of Live You Madly by NetGalley for an honest review and this is my review.
I really enjoyed Meredeth and Travis's story. It was packed full of romance and suspense. The storyline line was excellent, a stepmother who is looking for her daughter who disappeared and she ended up hiring a guy that she she bullied in high school who grew up to be a total hottie. Great concept. I person behind her daughter's disappearance kept me guessing until the end which was great and the chemist

Highly entertaining read! I enjoyed the twist of Meredith being the mean girl who picked on the hero, Travis, back in high school. But when her stepdaughter goes missing she needs his help in finding her. He's no longer a nerd, and Meredith can't seem to keep her eyes off him. Although this book wasn't an overly sexy read, the suspense plot was so well done I never noticed the softer romantic side. If you enjoy suspense, unique twisty plots, and charming characters, well, look no further. Love Y ...more

The plot for this book sounded awesome. The action, adventure, and chance for second chance romance was great. I did feel like it was lacking something. I didn't really feel the connection or chemistry between the two main characters and maybe thats why I felt so disconnected from the book. It felt more of an after thought.

Meredith was a mean girl in high school. Now her daughter has gone missing and she needs help. Who shows up on her doorstep, but none other than the computer nerd that she to
