A pretty good book about the essentials of wilderness first aid, taken in conjunction with a WFA course. Apparently they're releasing a new edition soon and some of the information is going to be obsolete, which is disappointing, but I still learned a lot. I also wish that there could have been a bit more of a focus on the most common injuries we would encounter. That said comment it was overall very helpful and informing.

A really approachable book with good guidance for helping others injured outdoors. I would recommend this book to anyone who does any sort of outdoors activities - it's REALLY good information to learn!

A good primer that covers the basics of wilderness first aid. A nice complimentary book to a wilderness first aid course. I am very glad that I did not need to apply any of this knowledge while I was at Philmont.

I took a Wilderness First Aid course through the Boy Scouts of America in preparation for some longer, more remote backpacking treks. This was the book that the medical professionals used. Great book.
