The characters were overly dramatic at times, and their thoughts and actions were not very believable for the two men that were described in the beginning. If the characters had both been females, then this book would have made more sense to me. Harley and Dyson were described as being smart, sexy, tall, muscular, business men. However, they thought and acted like emotional drama queens. I could maybe understand if the characters were supposed to be ditzy and also very effeminate( in th

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

First of all, I liked this book enormously. The theme has been dealt with before (he is not for me, it's only sex, I have issues, etc), but still, I'm a sucker for a beautiful romance, especially if there is a little bit of kink involved.

Our "hero", Dyson, has to get married if he is to get his inheritance. He feels trapped, and goes through all the motions to comply with the last will and testament of his grandfather, but at t

This book was so poorly written I finally gave up at the 10% mark and returned it for a refund. As an avid reader, I’ve read books I didn’t like or didn’t finish but I’ve never written a bad review criticizing the writer’s work nor returned the book. Even if I didn’t like the story line, the writer’s style or the characters, I figured my expectations of the book didn’t match the writer’s vision, and I left it at that. But for the second time in a month, I bought a book that was so poorly written ...more

Dyson works with his brothers at their Grandfather's company. One day his brother, EJ, introduces him to one of their new employees, Harley. One look at Harley and Dyson is Gobsmacked! He is so turned around by him, he runs right into the doorframe and gives himself a bloody nose!

Meeting Dyson was like a lightening strike that threatened to start his deadened heart. Harley wanted to go help him with his nose but kept himself back.

I read a lot of m/m books and I think this is one of the good ones out there.

Dylan Michaels is a closeted gay man and he receives the worst thing in the world an ultimatum from the grave. If he doesn't he will lose his share in the family business. Dylan tries in the beginning to go down the conventional "straight" guy route by getting married to a woman. With the clock ticking down to the deadline set from beyond the grave by his grandfathers will. He

Dyson's life has just taking a dramatic and sad turn and not just because his grandfather died but because he's messing with his life from beyond the grave. His grandfather left instructions in his will for Dyson, to marry by a certain date and produce an heir within five years or kiss his inheritance goodbye. Dyson knows that his grandfather wasn't talking about gay marriage either. He said yes even though everything in his being is telling him to say no.

I absolutely loved the concept of this plot. And the Celtic rope - love never ending - was a beautiful add. I loved that Harley incorporated the design into the wedding bands. For me, that showed me Harley's real personality and feelings towards Dyson from the beginning.

I enjoyed both MCs as well as many of the secondary characters.
Dyson & Harley both grew a lot throughout the book. These two had quite a journey and I was thrilled with the ending.

My only complaints were: This was a long bo

OMG what a fantastic read. I was so blown away by this book and loved every minute of it. It was a long read and I so loved it. It was written as a multi pov.

Tbere were so many aspects to this story. There was heartache, deception, redemption, personal growth, violence, very mild BDSM, romance, panty melting sexiness, and the list goes on. I had heart twinges and tears, and even a few lol moments.

Jennifer outdid herself with this book and I so look forward to reading more of her work.

This is my first read from Ms. Rose and I have to say that I think that her writing is terrific. The storyline and characters are all very well created and will make you reluctant to put the book down once you begin reading. You most likely have to do so because this is a decent length read, but it really has to be because of the amount of information in the story. It takes you through so much with the main character Dyson and then Harley, and then add in Dyson's family and all of the thi

I suck at reviews but here it goes... This was a good read, very emotional though. I loved Dyson from the start, Harley it was a love hate throughout the book( sorry) I ended up loving him in the end :) . It starts off with Dyson about to marry a woman so he can keep his grandfathers inheritance but he can't go through with it & outs himself. So he only has a few weeks to marry so he meets a lawyer by chance at a bar & she tells him the wool doesn't say which sex he has to marry, so he's ...more

Ok, I don't write reviews. I must write one for this amazing book. First it was a whole book....not just a beginning or just the juicy middle or just a quick overview. It was the whole thing! Dyson and Harley were MEN, real masculine, strong men who acted like men! I don't mean to offend, but this is the kind of character I LOVE!!! The story was great and kept me wondering what would happen next. YES I WANT TO BE THEIR NEIGHBOUR.... and to those who know me know that is the biggest compliment I ...more

Jennifer Rose gives us a wonderful story of unrequited love. Dyson needs help, so does Harley but in an entirely different way. Jennifer Rose gives us a story with storyline twist from several different direction involving both Dyson & Harley and makes it work. This is a first read for me by Jennifer Rose and I won this story at a release party--and boy am I glad. I love your storytelling Jennifer Rose and so will you.

That's about all the enthusiasm I could work up for this overly tortured piece of fluff. I didn't even bother with the extra half star I'd usually give "just for trying" because of all the grammatical issues. Sentence structure I could care less about (because I can't nitpick what I do so terribly myself) but OMFG all the homophone errors...sole instead of soul, collage/college, brake/break,

First let me say that I love a nice, long story that allows me to spend a lot of time with the characters and Unobtainable definitely falls into that category. In fact, I spent so much time with Dyson and Harley that I'm actually missing both of them right now! Dyson Michaels is head of accounting at his family's firm, low man on the totem pole as far as his brothers are concerned and on the verge of losing his piece of the family pie altogether if he can't meet the terms of his grandfather's wi ...more

I absolutely love "marriages of convenience" or "forced circumstances" situations, so this should have been a slam dunk. If you make the decision early on that you're just going to give in to a little guilty pleasure and not look for any great work of literature, it's not so bad. There are ridiculous grammatical errors that could have taken then from a 2 star book to a 3. That's not even starting with the plot. I don't care that it's laughable. Like I said, in the right story, it's perfect. But. ...more

Dyson's grandfather throws a curveball in his will, when it's stated that Dyson must marry. Dyson isn't dating anyone and he is gay, so he is it's a lost cause. He even goes to the extreme to marry....a woman. But of course Dyson is too nice to ruin her life, so he owns up and tells her he is gay, at the worst possible time; their wedding. But hey, he gets points for not marrying her.

Harley is the guy that Dyson lusts after, who also works with Dyson.

This m/m romance book was one of the good ones out there. I liked how both characters(Dyson & Harley) had some past issues to get thru in order to know that what they have together. This book had everything that you love in a romance book... the drama with in-laws and ex-lovers, fights, makeups and of course the SEX!!

I will be letting my book friends know how good this book was.

What I hate most about books is really poor editing and this book was absolutely riddled with grammatical errors, mistakes and non existent punctuation. I also found it to be unnecessarily long winded and I feel that it could easily have been condensed. However, I did like the story and the characters but the author definitely needs to do some work on her writing skills, improve her grammar and punctuation and have the book proof read and edited properly.

I made it to 27%. I rarely DNF books but this was more than I could stand. A stupendous number of run on sentences, other missing, misplaced commas and periods were bad enough. Add to that, misspelled words, incorrect homonyms, and tepid, banal dialogue and lack of plot. I did try, as I was a bit interested in Harley's nightmares and other intimated issues but not enough to continue. Thank goodness, yet again, for Kindle Unlimited.
