I loved the second installment of the The Nephilim Warrior Series!

I knew Anna would choose him, but to get there I’ve hung to the book biting my nails.

Elise is her usually witty and hilarious self, helps Anna when she needs it, especially when she feels alone.

We discover a bit more about the funny and sexy Torch, his weakness for a certain beauty vampire, and some of the other nephilim warrior men that tend to walk around shirtless.

Dan a.k.a. the Hunter, a vampire, wants Anna, Eli and Nyoka are

I was given this book and the first in the series Prophecy of the Female Warrior (Nephilim Warriors, #1) by K.A. Young as a R2R and you can read my review for the first book here - I give this book a 4 1/2 stars - almost perfect!

I must admit I was a little annoyed at the beginning to see Anna still wavering between brothers but I decided to set aside my irritation and continue on with the book with an open mind. I tell yeah it actually took some convincing to push my brain into continuing with this book and not hopping

I really like this series and this book was a great read. I didn’t connect with this story as much as the first, but still a great read. I wanted more from Anna, but this was just my issue because K.A. did a great job with the writing. This story has lots of excitement in between everyone wanting Anna. This is an adult book with lots of steamy adult sc

This book wasn't hard to get through, but it did have issues. I like the idea of a using the Nephilim as a supernatural set, but it could have been done better. Books have to have believable characters I can relate too, and a realistic conflict to overcome to keep my attention.

Pros: Cool supernaturals based on the biblical Nephilim.

Cons: The characterization is flat. Anna, the main character, has to choose between twin brothers as her mate for life, but frankly they are both so bossy and contro

SPOILERS towars the end of this review. 3 and 1/2 stars. I realy enjoyed the 2nd book, with much more action, which i love. The pace was fast and i found myself wanting to know what the heck was going to happen. LOL - I finished the book in one session. I enjoyed the twists in the story, absolutely love mystery..... Although we saw less of Torch this time around, I still like his and Elise's characters very much, I also liked Aliene very much and hope she will feature more in book 3. Nyoka has m ...more
This was a good read but it didn't rock my world the way the first book in the series did. It picks up with Anna exploring her new life as the last female Nephilim warrior still torn between brothers Eli and Nyoka. Maybe I've been reading too much erotica lately but this storyline didn't play out how I expected. I do like the camaraderie with her new friend Elise but lost interest anytime The Hunter came on the scene. If goodreads would let me my rating for this would actually be 3 1/2 stars.

“Anna? Baby, is it really you?” It is Joe’s voice I hear, but it can’t be. He is gone. I must be dreaming. I have to be. I remember going to sleep in my bed that is now located in the palace of the sacred lands of the Nephilim.
Anxiety grips me as he comes closer. I turn and run straight into the woods, using all the speed I have within me. I run for miles without even breaking a sweat. Being a fully transitioned Nephilim warrior has its advantages. Nothing can catch me

After 1 year of not only adjusting to being QUEEN of an entire race of warriors but figuring out which one of twin brothers is her true mate, you'd think a girl could catch some R&R or at least a deep breathe. Nope, not in the cards for Annabelle Wilkins, newly trained and crowned she has to deal with all of this plus a new threat that seems to be far stronger than believed. More deception lies ahead in this installment coming from people involved in her past and some brand new hurdles to cl ...more
I don’t usually go for books about Angels/Nephilim but as this was a free download and included werewolves, I thought I risk it and am so glad I did! This is the 2nd book in the series and follows on about a year after the 1st book finishes. Anna still hasn’t chosen between Eli and Nyoka and so rules the Nephilim people on her own. The three of them are now living in the castle on their sacred land and Torch is Anna’s personal protection. The reason Anna hasn’t chosen which brother is her mate i ...more

I received an ARC of this in exchange for my honest review!!

K.A. Young continues to amaze me with this series. The characters continue to draw me in and the storyline just keeps getting better. The Vampires have a bigger role in this book and of course the yetzer hara continue to show up and cause trouble.

Anna is quite the warrior and finally chooses a mate. Before she does that her dead husband starts appearing to her. He's a phantom but is trying to find a way back. Could it have something to

Review: 4 stars

General: Not as strong as the first book in the series this one was still an entertaining read but a little upsetting because characters did not behave how they were set up to be in the first novel as well as I feel a little cheated we did not see anything during the year. But other things are done wonderfully. The storyline didn’t stop and

So, let me start off by being honest...I really didn't connect with the first book in this series. I had some issues with the writing and Anna's character. I have to say though, that I'm really glad I didn't give up on the series - I think this second installment is a much improved read and I really enjoyed it.

I thought the plot was very strong - I'm a big fan of Urban Fantasy and its kick-ass heroines and Anna felt

Anna got even better for me in this installment. She had so much on her plate that she could have easily given up and nobody would have blamed her. She stayed strong and found ways to clear all these problems instead of failing to make decisions. I liked that the most about her as a character in this book, as well as the story in general. It didn't lag through problems. We made decisions, followed through with plans and moved the story along. Usually when we get to sequels the story can get very ...more

And i have to say that I'm glad with who she picked as a mate i think she made the right choice

but then saying that i don't think the one left behind is going to let her go easily.

Once again i loved Elise she is

It’s been a year after she became the queen she was meant to be. Her time is running out and she must choose between the two nephilim warriors as to whom will be her mate. But just as things starts to settle down and Anna finds her true mate, chaos erupts in the nephilim world.

Now rogue vampire Dan also wants Anna, and he is prepared to drive her out of hiding. When Anna’s people and love ones starts dying, she has no other option but to face Dan and take her changes. But this time there will be

The story continues a year after Anna became the queen of the Nephilim people. Anna is battles the love trio between the two brothers, but as time passes her mate in revealed. But a new threat have risen to throw Anna’s life into turmoil. Her ex brother in law, now vampire, is killing off those close to her to lure her out and take her for himself. Will her mate be able to save her, or will she fail into the clutches of the now rogue vampire.

Wow, Anna have a few problems on her plate this time.
I'm really torn on this book. I liked that the mating issue was ironed out and I *understand* why certain things happened as they did but Anna's reactions to a few things left me scratching my head.

Her decision to honor something her dead husband told her to do in a dream -- when she knows that Nephilim dreams are more than they seem -- confused me. Again, while I understand that she was feeling torn between two brothers and she's trying to find her way, keeping something like that a secret stru

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review (LoP). Like the first installment, there were many aspects in this book that I liked and some aspects that I find needs improvement. Although I have to say, I did enjoy the 2nd book better than the first one. First of all, I found that this book was faster paced. This could be attributed to the main character’s development of her powers and skills. She was definitely a stronger character in this book. I also enjoyed the love tr ...more

KA Young has a gift for throwing some of the most incredible curve balls into her stories. Things that you never see coming. When I read Prophesy of the Female Warrior I was impressed by the way she threw the twist of the twins into the end, leading into the second book. As I worked my way through Destiny I was completely shocked. Though the situation turned out to be what I thought it was, she had me on the edge of my seat until the end. Young has a gift for story telling.

I love this series!

Anna has got to be my one of my fav heroines ever! I love her passion and her strength.
I can't really talk about the story because sooo much happens. I wanted to cry and throw my Kindle at one point. It was bad. I cannot believe it ended like that!

But good Lord, the sex! Eli is so Alpha it isn't funny. I wish there was more descriptive but that's just me.

The book left me with so many quesitons... what's with Torch and the vamps (cannot wait for that story) and Julie, didn't
Nephilim are awesome, and not overly done in the book world, which is really nice to read about something that is different.

This was a great continuation from the 1st book. There was some time that had past between the 2, but not too much to that you are not able to jump back on the wagon, and pick things up.

I am really excited to see where this series is going to continue to go from here and can't wait until book 3 comes out. I am just super glad I don't have to wait a whole year to find out.

following on immediately from book one, Prophecy, this tells of Anna's choice and Dan's betrayal, mostly.

Anna makes her choice, as the mating bond becomes stronger and clearer to her. she also takes her place as Queen of the Nephilim Warriors.

I figured out why I didn't like book one so much, its written in the first person present tense, as is this one, but THIS one is better. there is more action, and it flows so much better than Prophecy. There is a twist I did not see coming, leading into boo

First I want to thank K.A. Young for giving me this book for an honest review. As with the first book I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Anna finally figures out who her bonded mate is. Dan having become a vampire in the first book has went on a rampage and has gotten worse. He will do anything to get to Anna. Eli has to make a tough decision to help Anna follow her destiny. Elise makes me laugh at her antics. I am looking forward to book three as the story continues, K.A. Young is very good at leav ...more
I enjoyed this second installment much more then the first. I give it a 3.5 and not a 4 as the partying scenes when on a mission just didn't ring true of a warrior. Also the puncuation typos were distracting, especially the misplaced quotes.

Overall I enjoyed the plot, felt this book was less choppy then the first. The cliff hanger has me rushing to read the third installment! It was a good solid entertaining read.

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest and fair review thro

I Liked this series so much I read it in less than 4 days!!!

If you are looking for a Paranormal Romance series that is pretty damn good and makes you want to stay awake until the end of the series. Well, this is the series for you! I know it was for me! There are twisty plots and some drama in this series but it flows well. Somethings you will not even expect. I recommend reading the whole series not just one of the books and that is why I am doing this review for the series as a whole instead o

The key word for this book was more. I wanted more from Anna, more Torch, more hot and more story.

Book 1 set this book up perfectly and I jumped in head first. I was not disappointed. Tha banter was great and the characters drove this story perfectly. I wanted Anna to end back with her hubby, I'm such a first love kinda girl. Things happened that I so did not expect. I finished the book and was still trying to process it all and catch my breath.

A great read!
