Ronan Sutherland and his family have been under a curse to be shapeshifter (wolf) and this curse can only lifted by true love. Ronan sought the help from an old sage Granny Sinclair who prophesied that her granddaughter would be the one to break Ronan’s curse. The Sinclairs were gifted with the power to time travel amongst other powers. The only problem is that Mari Sinclair, the granddaughter, time travelled to the future and refuses to return to 13th century Scotland. Thus Ronan had

For hundreds of years, Ronan Sutherland has been trapped behind the mists and only one woman has been prophesied to break the curse, and when his chance finally arrives he finds that he must travel to the future to fetch her in this captivating romance.

Mairi Sincliar is perfectly content to remain in the present putting her gift of healing to good use and the reader can’t help but be captivated when a mysterious wolf darts in front of Mairi’s car and changes everything. There’s no denying the pu

This was a romantic, story. It was full of true love, but a man so scared to loose his love, he almost does. Due to the fact he has lied to her so much, albeit not because he wants to lie, but he is scared of losing her if she knows his truth.

I enjoy the Scottish accent a lot. I could just imagine these huge, sexy Scottish men speaking in these deep voices, with that borough... yummy.

The Author did a good job telling this story, keeping it interesting, and intriguing. The details were good, and

Another out-of-the-park-er for Ms. Greyson!! I adored the first two books, and this one didn't let me down with the vivid pictures the author's words created in my mind. Perfect setting, all the senses fulfilled, and an HEA...what's not to love? Fleshed out characters that complement each other (even when they don't know it yet) and laughter enough to keep the story light-hearted, this book is a must read!

My Tempting Highlander is book three in the Highland Hearts series by Maeve Greyson. We are treated to a curse, shifters, witches, time travel, heartache, love and meddling family members!

I had a little trouble at times reading My Tempting Highlander. Historical Romances are not my normal genre nor are Time Travel, add in that this was the thrid book in the series, and that I had not read any of the previous books. I ended up on an up-and-down ride of tryin

A great paranormal romance to please everyone!

I really enjoyed, My Tempting Highlander, written by Maeve Greyson, it was fun to read, filled with romance, magic and fantasy.

It tells the story of Ronan, cursed during three centuries, to be a wolf shifter, who is searching for his mate! Enters in his life, one of the Sinclair women, Mairi, who have been known to be time travelers. Will she be able to help him? Will she accept her destiny? In the background, Granny is still plotting to match these

This was a nice time travel story. Our hero, Ronan, travels to modern time to get his fated bride, Mairi, to come back to 13th century Scotland to marry him and lift a curse. Mairi has a temper and a bit of a potty mouth - I loved it! Ronan had a problem with telling half truths. And that was my problem with the story. She gave him multiple chances to come clean and he kept denying that there was any thing else to admit.

Thank goodness Ronan was a better Hero than Colom. Don't think I could have read another idiotic playboy.

That being said, while I understood Ronan's motivations, he could have been honest with Mairi sooner. He'd already seen that she could handle it, and it got to a point where it seemed like he was just lying to lie.

You know what I hate the most? The thing that so many romance novels seem to suffer from? Manufactured drama. I hate it, you guys. I hear some people already saying, Now, Bonnie. If there wasn't a bit of miscommunication going on, there wouldn't be a story, would there?"

My Tempting Highlander is book 3 in the Highland Heart Series by Maeve Greyson. I was so excited to get my hands on this book. The others in the series were fun, and I knew this one wouldn’t be any different. My Tempting Highlander is Ronan and Mairi’s story. If you have been following the series you will know that Ronan was in book 2, and played a pretty big role in that story. If you haven’t read book 2, I recommend you read that one first.

The Highland Hearts series is a fun time travel romance/family saga revolving around the Sinclair family, four sisters and their quirky granny, who have the ability to jump time. This third installment, My Tempting Highlander is the story of Mairi, third sister, and her fated mate, Ronan Sutherland.

We first met Ronan in the last book, My Highland Bride, where he kidnapped Kenna Sinclair and forced her hand in marriage hoping to break a centuries old curse. Ronan was cursed before birth to take t

I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review through Wicked Reads.
I enjoyed this book. I usually like reading about the highlands and time travel, so this one caught my eyes. It was what I expected, and more.
Ronan Sutherland is a highland man living in the past and under a horrible curse that he has lived with his entire long life. He's followed leads to help break his curse in the past, but with no avail. Now, he has a new lead and he's really hoping she is the key this time.
Cursed by a vengeful witch, Ronan Sutherland lives a life of immortality and as a shifter, searching for woman who will break the curse. When he is summoned to Granny Sinclair, who believes she knows who the woman is, Ronan ends up time traveling to modern day Edinburgh.

Mairi Sinclair has been ignoring her Granny's attempt to get her to travel back to 13th Century Scotland. When she accidentally hurts a dog, or wolf, Mairi doesn't realize it is Ronan. Ronan is befuddled by the changes in modern

This book was a little bit over the top. The love story here was so sappy that it was so hard for me to connect with the characters. Ronan was sappy and love at first sight. Mairi is a Sinclair women whose very stubborn but sometimes her stubbornness was unbelievable. The majority of this book was spent on Ronan wooing Mairi and two chapters are spent on the drama and angst around the curse.

I would have liked a stronger female character and a not so sappy Ronan. Most Scots men in romanc

Maeve Greyson has written another splendid time travel romance titled 'My Tempting Highlander'.
The humor was spot on. The forward and backward in time was a switch in the story pace.
The Fates are giving the Sinclair women a chance to balance the time travel slips that the women of the family over time have made. The only thing is that Mairi, the oldest of the twins, is the one who must set things right by marrying an immortal Highland Chiefta
I received an uncorrected proof of this book, from the publisher through net galley, in exchange for an honest review. I read the first book in this series as well. I enjoy the storytelling and characters. This story is about a witches curse on her husband, his leman, their child, and an innocent bystander at the drowning of the witch, to see her as she truly was. The curse spans centuries and requires a special woman to break it. I thought it was a delightful story about Mairi, the third Sincla ...more

Wow this book has it all! A curse, a shifter, a witch, a time traveler, love, betrayal, heartache, a castle, a dragon, and meddling family! It hits every topic a romance novel can have! And dare I say it was. a REAL novel not a 100 pages and real characters.

I liked the story and all the elements. Mairi irritated me with her whining. He showed her all the time he loved her and she couldn't see. Ronan also rubbed me wrong at times with his insistence of not telling the whole truth, but aren't all

I love the continuation of this series. Visiting old friends is always nice. Mairi has a big heart but not much trust in humans. From the first touch of Ronan's wolf, Mairi is in deep. She takes pleasure in introducing him to modern life although unwittingly. Once all comes clear, she fights her attraction to Ronan but agrees to do what it takes to break the curse. Ronan does not know how to open up to Mairi. He thinks he is doing the best thing by keeping secrets. They both push the other away ...more

Thanks Wicked Reads for a copy to read and review.

I would just like to say that the blurb and cover caught my eye on this book but the actual story didn't really suck me in. This was my first in this series and I'm not a fan of time travel books unless they give me a good feeling of the awkwardness to be out of that time period they came from. I felt like there wasn't enough description of that, it seemed solely based on Ronan and Mairi. The book was good it just wasn't what I was expecting. T

Ronan Sutherland and Mairi are made for each other. the story line, and plot are good. The side characters were well done and The description of the scenes spot on. I could feel everything around and it sometimes felt as if I was their. Though If I was I would have popped both them upside the head. lol Anyways this is a great book, I laughed, action, and mystery.
It is a must read.

I got such a laugh reading the antics of Ronan and Mairi throughout this story. They were two characters who were hilarious and heartfelt throughout the story and a joy to read :) Steamy passionate moments and enough drama that kept me on edge. Twists and likeable characters within the story and one that I completely enjoyed reading.

Ronan had been cursed to shapeshift into a wolf. His mother was now a wolf and his friend Graham was a dragon shifter. Graham was a dragon by day and a man by night. Ronan had been summoned to go to the clan MacKenna and that Lady Mairi Sinclair was the woman to be his wife. The he found out by Chiefton Guy MacKenna it was the ‘old one’ - the Sinclair matraich who had demanded he come. Ronan would rather face a legion of MacKenna soldiers than a private sitting with Lady Nia Sinclair- Mairi’s gr ...more

It was interesting to see this in reverse. Instead of the women going to a century they were unsure of, learning all these things to make their men happy, it was amazing to see the man go to modern times and try to get along. An overly protective Highlander, in modern days of strong willed women, and the chaos that comes with it? It leads to amusing romances and this series certainly provides.
I wish there was more backstory for Mairi. What happened to her that made her build walls like that? Something happened in her past and is alluded to, but never actually told to the reader.

Ronan's inability to tell Mairi the whole truth got frustrating really quickly. Every time he is given a chance to he doesn't. I wished for that to not have gone on as long as it did.

Another great book in the Highland Series! You could read it as a stand alone book but it good to read each one to see how each sister is doing with their new husband. And what the future holds for them.
