"I’ve been waiting to claim you for a long time..."

My billionaire stepbrother owes me.

Years ago, James thoughtlessly gave me an IOU instead of a Christmas present.

I thought I had pushed him out of my mind, but years later, I found myself sharing a home with him again.

Just like before, he teased me at every turn. And just like before, it only made me want him more.

This is the other book that was banned by Amazon as a serial…and the story was almost complete at the time. I’m so glad I finally got to read the conclusion! And I have to confess that I love that this is now a full length novel(and the same goes for the military one) .

This one was good, but not as good as the military stepbrother story by this author. I just couldn’t get into James. He had his good and bad parts. Allie put up with a lot from him because she loved him. There were a couple pieces

This book started out as the serial, "A Baby for My Billionaire Stepbrother" under my erotica pen name.
I never expected it to hit the Top 100.
I never expected to have Amazon block it from sale.

And now, here it is- with the final segment- available in novel form. I can't tell you how stressful the process was (working with a giant corporation who you don't want to make angry is the kind of thing that gives people ulcers). But, it's out!

So, get it while Amazon has us on their good side, bec

No words...

It's kinda like one long bad porno. The cheese factor is way over the top and there is absolutely no believability to the storyline.

Not her best, but I stuck with it to the end.

I read this as a bonus novel included after Stepbrother Priest. I didn't even know it was included.
On the positive, the sex scenes were pretty hot. Well hot except Allie's obsession with James' seed and her womb, that was a bit much....and rather odd.
But I honestly did not care for the characters. Allie was weak and young and manipulative. James was just an a$$hole. Their chemistry wasn't there except during sex. But there was A LOT of sex so I guess that is to make up for the other parts lackin

Stepbrother's Gift is a really great story ... much like the few step-sibling romances I've read lately its full of pent up passion, taboo and great sex :P

In saying that Krista Lakes has shown me a new character element, that i'm not entirely sure how i should be feeling about it.... i don't think i've ever read anything where the main character (in this case Allie) purposely impregnates herself with her step-brothers baby... a

I don't usually write reviews but I had to do it. This book is the worst book I have ever read and I can't believe a woman wrote this. The moral compass is just wrong... There is one sex scene that sounds more like rape than sex and i am not talking boundage or kinky stuff, this would be ok. I am talking about a woman that is hurt and the guy keeps on going,....WTF????There is also the fact that the girl always refers to sex as him using her body? This wasn't attractive at all.
THe entire story i

Good story, not really hard to get into it but the only problem I have with it was she felt pregnant like a minute after having sex without protection. No one is that good at feeling prego that fast. Allie is super crazy for a baby but only a baby from her jerk of a step brother of 4 years. This guy puts her down from the start when she was a freshman and he a senior in high school, and every day since then he play hot and cold, puts her down, messes with her, have all the guys in school look th ...more

OK, I don't normally write reviews;I just read them. However, I felt compelled to write one for this book. At first I wasn't sure how I would feel about it. The story line didn't gross me out though. Its not like they were related at all. So I decided to give it a go. What I didn't like was the fact the they made Allie's character so young. I know she was legal but it would have been better if she was at least in her young 20's. The other thing was there were way too many editing errors. I even ...more

I liked but still hated this hated this book. What I liked : The story, the whole forbidden love thing and it was funny. The love scenes were done really well too. What I hate? Everything else. Allie was a fucking doormat and James was an asshole. This girl let her brother walk all over her, so a bunch of shit to her, sleep with her best friend, jerked off to her roommate and she was still like...."omg but I love him. I want his baby" Girl no. THEN the whole rubbing her belly because she was pre ...more

O wow, where to start. This was hot as hell for the most part. I really could not put this down. It had me gripped from the start.
When James gave his step sister an IOU one Christmas, never could he have guessed what she would eventually ask him for years later.
Allie has always had a crush on James since the day they met, she is drawn to him and he pushes her away, before finally leaving home to make his way in the world, and become a billionaire whilst he’s at it.
At 18, Allie, still in colle

SPOILER!! I'm sorry, but I just don't understand how she was so cool about everything. Had sex with her best friend when they were younger, even though he proclaims to have loved her since they met? That's cool, she's not upset with either of them. Roommate sends him vag shots and he masturbates to them, while not even a little remorseful (even though they're already exclusive)? She gets it, men have needs! But while he couldn't find the time to send her more than a 3 word email a couple times, ...more

His always been out of her league until she finds an old Christmas present which is IOU. Determined to have wants she wants she doesn't back down. But one she doesn't realize is she's in for one hell of a ride.

Well what a racy little number this was!

Allie and James are step siblings, but only from the ages of 14/18 and you hear about their last 4 years of squabbling.

Allie pulls her big girl pants on and confronts their feelings, James 'claims' her and then like a true asshole, tries to keep it all a secret to protect his image.

However Allie has a singular goal and I don't think she really thought it through properly! An IOU from the past turns into her promising herself Jame's baby!!!!!

What happens? W

I'm surprised at the number of positive reviews....sure the sex was HOT but the story line needed work. First I found the ages of the characters to not match up with their actions. For James to be a billionaire by age 22, for Allie to be a sex/baby crazed girl at just didn't add up. I think the characters should be older and Allie should have at least been closer to graduating college rather than starting it. It also really bugged me the way she kept referring to him as her stepbrother. ...more

Great story!

When I begin reading this serious I couldn't put it down and had to find out what happened next, was Alli really pregnant, would James except the fact that he was going to be a father? Was the story going to end with James and Alli being together? Want to know, read the story for yourselves also love how it's just one book instead of it being divided into smaller stories. Can't wait to read more books from you Krista Lakes.

Definite 5 Star read.
Very pleased with the story, the pantie sizzling heat and the lack of over done angst that some romance writers seem to create.

The H/ h just had me blasting thru page turning and actually switching devices to complete the read when one device hadn't any more to give.

You like it hot? Sweet? Pantie melting?
Did I mention Hot, squirming HOT?

Beautiful HEA and swoon worthy read.

Thank you for writing Krista

Enjoyed their chemistry...

I really liked the author's writing style, and loved the characters' chemistry. I was frustrated with Allie's constant mentioning of wanting a baby, and just knowing she was pregnant every time they had sex. I also found myself frustrated with the whole Nicole situation...Staying with her at club, the pictures, and emails...Ugh.

Other than those personal things, I enjoyed the book and would like to read more from this author.

Hot hot hot.

Loved the story but after a while I just started flipping through the sex. Until the last quarter of the book there is sex every four pages. Don't get me wrong I just think the story could have done without so much. Story itself was really good I was nervous through half and relieved in the end.

This was pretty good. James & Allie had a heck of a situation on their hands. We all thought something was up with Lauren, she seemed jealous already of James' conquests, so it was a surprise. Glad everything turned out good for them in the end. It goes to show you never know who may become your friend.

Holy hotness

A wonderful unexpected love story. If your looking for a sweet easy love story then this book is not for you. If your looking for a hot steamy resistive story then stop reading this and go buy this book right now.
Allie and James story is messy and so hot. I found myself cheering him on, sad when they had hard times and so happy when thinks went right.

Stepbrother's Gift is a stand alone book by Krista Lakes. I'm generally a huge fan of Krista's, but this book just didn't work for me. I think my biggest issue with this book was the character's chemistry and how they acted towards each other. Sometimes I just wanted to slap them both and tell them to grow up. The storyline was just ok for me. I'm looking forward to future books by Krista.
Heather De Los Reyes

I love the step brother-sister story line. This book was a great read for me. There was plenty of steamy scenes in this book and the author worded everything perfectly. The pace of the story was pretty spot on and it really didn't leave you guessing at anything. The ending was really good and it was definitely worth the read.

The book was okay.... the step-brother issue, did not add to story. It was more distracting, than tantalizing...

I don't think I would recommend this book to any teenage girl....especially one with step-brothers.
I'm not sure why people tend to believe that forbidden love is more romantic.

A love no matter what.

I loved the love story. It is hard to define who can love and who cannot. What happens when you fall in? You go for it even if the world looks at it as something wrong. Check it out to see what I mean.

I definitely would suggest over 18 for the audience of readers.
