Short and informative book...the general readers may not find it interesting while reading.
But a very useful book for sociology and Anthropology students.
But I will suggest that if you are interested in knowing about tribal life you must go for this book.
Though it has very little information about the tribes and tribal life. So one can go for general understanding of the tribal life.

A very good book for a detailed study of various tribes across the nation with dynamic perspective by the author.

Worthless to me. I know about Tribes more this just by observing them(I lived in a Bhil District of Rajasthan about the whole of my childhood. The book does not possess anything with is interesting of knowledgeable to me. I can't speak for others here. But, beginners can start from here.
