Apocalypse

When a political party takes over the country completely to detriment of the general population. This is the background of this unusual romance between a rebel and a rebellious woman. I thought the plot here very well constructed and I thought the story, while scary in it's clear inspiration from modern events, was overall a great read. I do think it has a potential to not be found by it's target audience because, while it is set in future, it reads more like a historical. That isn't a bad thing, just makes it hard to label.

I hope the world she built will never come to pass. The world building here was extremely well done, to the detail.

This was a very encouraging book. It is short and written in an easy to read format.

Kelli Gotthardt is a pastor's wife. She has always been the "good girl". She had always said "yes" to everything. She shows how freeing it can be to stop saying yes to everything. She shows how to live in the freedom and love that God has for us.

I would strongly encourage every woman out there to read this. It was very encouraging and inspiring. I received this book from bookfun for my honest opinion.
