She attended a two-room schoolhouse 1st through 6th grade where she had same teacher the whole time. At the age of 12, Siby discovered historical romance, devouring the work of Jude Devereaux, Lisa Kleypas, and Karen Robards. She began writing in 2013 with her debut novel, Little Conversations, and self-published ten works over the next three years. This is the third in the Copperline series which follows different band members of the Bangin' Mofos, and Cody is the sweet and caring drummer who is the latest Mofo to fall under the love spell.
When a shy and mysterious woman starts working at the Copperline bar, Cody is attracted to her quiet and unassuming demeanour, and vows to find out what is behind the sadness that lies between her eyes.
Easy Little Lick was a heartwarming and sexy read, a lot more emotional than previous books in this series. I really enjoyed it.
This is the third book in the series, but can be read as a standalone. Told in Cody's POV.

Oh, swoon, swoon, swoon! A timid, shy, abused girl. A hero who's always been the "good guy" of the band. The perfect beta male. They meet. His protective instincts kick in. HEA all day. LOVE! An all time favorite book.

My word, that was one awesome read! Can I have a “Cody”?? Damn! He was hot!!! And, sweet. And, massively ripped! And, just too good to be true!! I loved him! He is probably my most favorite Sibylla Matilde “book boyfriend” to date! Sorry, Ronin, I think you have to move over! There’s a new kid in town...lol!!! And, Ilsa, was just so endearing. She had it rough, and she just didn’t want to get Cody involved in her mess of a life. As soon as she gets a taste of Cody and just what he’s all about, though, she caves and let’s him into her f**ked up horror. Of course, the reader knows that the s**t will hit the fan eventually, and when it does, where does it leave this couple? I was so rooting for them to stick it out together. I know that Cody thinks that they’re meant to be, but will Ilsa have it in her to believe him and stay?
This was one heart-stopping love story! The sex was off-the-charts HOT!! Had to fan myself more than a dozen times. Gosh, I really don’t remember how many times. I lost track...lol! It was that erotic! And, of course, there was that ever-present humor that Ms. Matilde writes so well. The guys are there too – Justin, Drew, Denny, and Brannon along with their women – and they’re freakin’ funny as all hell! Couldn’t help but laugh at their humorous antics a number of times. That Justin! He just had me rollin’ with his potty mouth and his ability to create chaos! I can’t wait until his book is written! And, oh, little Max was such a cutey! There’s just so much heart and soul in this book! I couldn’t put it down until I read the last page. Well, maybe I put it down once to eat dinner. Oh, and another time to get some shut-eye. But, I was totally enthralled within the pages from start to finish. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series, which is Drew’s story!

The Bangin Mofos are back with Cody and Ilsa story.
Cody the lovely teddy bear of the group very strong, kind and caring. I think every one would like a Cody.
Ilsa the new waitress at the Copperline. She is very shy,quiet and tries to ignore Cody but cant resist for long.
He sees something in Ilsa and things come together eventually.
Lots of secrets from Ilsa she is not prepared to share with Cody, but we get to find them all out in the end.
Good to catch up with the rest of the bands members Justin, Drew, Denny and Brannon along with their partners.
Took a bit to get into the story but once things got going I really enjoyed it. I love the one year later chapter with Max.
A sweet and sexy read.

"Easy Little Lick" gets a big five drumsticks from me! Yes I fell in love with this story and our main characters , not that it was hard to do! " Easy Little Lick" , brings us back to the Copperline Bar in Ophir and its house band the Bangin Mofos.
If you have been following the series we have seen Brannon settles down with Sophia and the the very sexy Irish Denny settled with Felicity , so now it I the very sexy, sweet drummer Cody Driscoll. Cody works with his buddy and band mate Brannon as a mechanic and the Bangin Mofo's drummer by night, as the drumme he has his share of groupies that follow him around. And though not a man whore he is not celebate either, but above all Cody is a protector deep down, so when the Copperline owner Doug introduces them to the new waitress Isla , she is quiet and sporting that dear in the headlights fear, in her eyes . Besides his immediate. Attraction to her Cody wants to take that look away and protect her .
Cody spends weeks trying to get close to Ilsa, coaxing her slowly into conversation , following her every movement around the bar while he is playing. Isla on the other hand to spite her attraction to Cody is doing her best to avoid him at all cost, Ilsa has secrets , some harmless and some dangerous and it is best for all involved if she keeps, everyone at a distance.
As we all know what the heart wants the heart wants and for these two it is no different , so when they give into their passions it gets hot Heavy and sexy real quick ! However Ilsa still keeps secrets and when they start to be revealed they come as a bit of a surprise at the least but Cody's love and support hardly waivers , and in the end he more than makes up for his moment of uncertainty .
My wild Irishmen Denny is still my favorite so far but Cody is sure a close second for me!
As always Sibylla has written a captivating story, with evocative characters giving us a fabulous read!

My Review:
From the initial three books I've read of this series to date, this one is my favorite by far. Cody is totally swoon worthy, my favorite band member, and my new BBF. He is just too precious! I was unfamiliar with the term "easy lick" so it wasn't until the final page of the story and saw the definition that I realized the extremely cleverness of the title, being that Cody was the drummer in the Bangin' Mofo band. Sibylla Matilde has it going on!
Ilsa's storyline brought Ms. Matilde's signature humor, steam, and heart squeezing angst; along with intrigue, tension, and an undercurrent of fear and danger. Ilsa was an enigma, obviously on the run from something - I was thinking witness protection or the mob - but she kept her secrets close, which frustrated me at times. The plot was passionate and sensual as well as sweet, tender, and all consuming. I remained engaged in the story from the first page to the last. I am totally grooving on this series and with only two additional books to go, I will be sad to see it come to an end.

It's no secret that I love these guys or that I bagsied Brannon for that matter ;) but it has to be said that I think Cody and Ilsa's story is my favourite so far! Their relationship can't be considered easy... Hell that's the last word that I'd use to describe it!! It's explosive, all consuming and fierce.
Cody is known as the attainable Mofo, the one that is most likely to one day settle down, he's the big teddy bear of the group and the girls are right, he is the one most likely to leave the single life behind, what they don't realise is that he isn't interested in more than one night with any of them! Isla is a breath of fresh air for Cody, she doesn't throw herself at him and she doesn't go to their parties, all she really does is keep to herself. Soon Isla is all Cody wants, all he sees, and she still wants nothing to do with him but luckily for us Cody isn't one to walk away from what he wants!
Their story really is something else, it's heartbreaking in more than one place and it's heartwarming in others! It really is a push and pull of emotions, you never know what's coming next, whether you'll be crying with laughter, simply crying happy tears or crying because it's shattered your heart so completely that you can't breathe, Cody and Isla will do that to you... I kept promising myself 'Just one more chapter...' but with each sentence they suck you in until you're consumed by them! Be prepared to spend the day in their world because when you go in you'll be reluctant to leave them!

I freaking loved this .. Easy Little lick is the sweetest, and sexiest read I absolutely adore Cody and Ilsa
You got hot drummer Cody Driscoll for the Bangin’ Mofos and sweet, shy, reserved new bar maid Ilsa. Cody is instantly intrigued with the Ilsa, however the owner of the Copperline Bar knows how the boys can be and has made her off limits. However Cody just can't help himself staying away does not seem to be an option for him, but he might get more than he bargained for. Ilsa has a past and some dark secrets that haunt her and she trust no one not letting anyone close to her.
Can Cody break through the layers of Ilsa and earn her trust? Or will his world unravel leaving him heart broken and alone?
This is great read. I started late in this series with Easy little Lick being my first read. So I have some catching up to do with these men of the Bangin’ Mofos and I can not wait to get started.

I finished Easy Little Lick at 1:30 AM, and it has been floating through my head ever since. I LOVE it. Denny stole my half irish heart in Wild Irish Envy, but I think Cody just out did him. I felt every emotion between Cody and Ilsa. Cody is really such a beautiful soul with an amazing heart.Such a beautifully written story. Oh, and let's not forget the hot as sin sexy time that Sibylla is phenomenal at writing!

Sexy drummer meets supposed sweet waitress..
I don't know why, but I always find it so easy to get attracted to books that have characters with life roles that aren't so very typical. A job that isn't as glamorous but it has character to it. The type of job where you instantly ask yourself why? Why would they work there? How did they get to work there? Why do they like it? Maybe that's just my weird why of thinking but that's what came to mind when picking up Easy Little Lick.
With Cody and Ilsa, it was easy to fall for their characters. Separately, they have so much unique, fun and interesting qualities - those that I knew would come along when I first read the synopsis.
This was a little more darker read. It hit elements that aren't that well spoken for, or that people simply overlook so very easily. It's an oversight that cause so much pain.. If only they saw. And Cody did. Sexy as hell Cody saw behind her smile. Behind eyes that to anyone else they would be a clear example of a happy, cheerful and wants to have fun kinda girl. But he saw.
What he saw in her, she might also say she would soon see in him...
With this story, I loved Cody so much. I melted with what his character's portrayal became and how it evolved.
Ilsa has the heart that is sweet and caring but build behind walls of her past. I respected that so much, even more so when it came to opening up to him, finding out about her life and every detail that made her who she was.
Both of them are stunning characters with a story that you have to have become part of your book heart ;)

Loved this! Cody is the drummer for the Mofo's. I thought no one could top Denny but I was wrong.
Cody is the sweetest caring guy and when he meets Ilsa, the sweet quiet new bar maid, he immediately wants to take care of her. But Ilsa is keeping a couple of huge secrets and she refuses to share them.
Thank goodness Cody is stubborn and slowly breaks down Ilsa's defenses. I knew Ilsa was strong and wow does she ever show us how much.
This is one of the hottest, sweetest books that tackles a very important subject.

I got an ARC copy for this book and I am so glad I did.
This is Cody's story's. Cody is the drummer for the Bangin' Mofos' during a set at the Copperline a new waitress Ilsa starts and Cody can't help but want a taste of the new waitress, even if Doug the owner has worn all of the Mofos NOT to sleep with her.
Ilsa is shy. She doesn't stand out in a crowed if anything she hates being centre of attention and she would rather stand at the back away from everyone and try not be noticed by anyone.
After a few months of Cody trying to draw her attention by trying to talk to her, catch her eye by giving her a smile here and there but he gets nothing. During a set at the Copperline Ilsa has some rowdy customers who start to get handsy with her Cody being the only member of the Bangin' Mofos who is boyfriend material, the member of the group who wants the whole Marriage, kids, house and a picket fence. So when he sees Ilsa having problems with some bikers he can't help but to intervene. There is a fight as the rest of the Mofos have Cody's back. Cody takes Ilsa outside as she is scared and fearful. After a few moments Cody starts making progress. Well, it's more one step forward and two steps back. Ilsa is keeping secrets from him. She will not tell him anything about herself. She has told him on more than occasion that she is no good for him, he would be better off without her and there can never be an 'us'
Cody of cause doesn't listen and he pursues her anyway. One night when Ilsa is leaving the Copperline her car breaks down and being the guy Cody is and also being a mechanic he and Brannon see more things wrong with the car Cody, tells Ilsa to take his truck while he and Brannon her car to the shop to look at it.
Cody and Brannon look at her car and when they open the car boat they discover a secret that she has been keeping. At least one of her secrets. Cody wanting to know more starts to follow her and discovers more than he bargained for.
This is a great great story. I have loved all the Copperline books and I thought nothing could beat the first two but I am happy to be wrong. Because I think this story beats them both. So far this is my favourite Copperline book and the next book is about Drew and I can't wait and I do hope I get to be another ARC review for Sibylla Matilde. These books are fantastic and what I like about these books is that they are from the guys POV. The way this book was written is great as it takes a sensitive subject and is discussed tastefully and it is taken seriously. I loved this book it is a series of books that I highly recommend and you will not be disappointed with these books. Can't stop talking about them as they are that good. Fantastic.

This is the third book in the Copperline series by Sibylla Matilde and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet story. This series can be read as standalone ,but read each and every story is amazing, and is so hot they could melt the North Pole ,so read each and everyone .Sibylla Matilde has given us another swell story, that will suck you in and keep you there from start to finish and then will leave you wanting more from this author. Easy Little Lick brings us all back to the one and only Copperline Bar in Ophir and also brings back the Band Bangin Mofos. I have read this whole series ,and have saw Brannon and Sophie settle down ,and also saw the hot and sexy Irish man Denny and the beautiful Felicity settle down also. And we have the really hot Cody Dryscoll ,who is the drummer for Bangin Mofos .Him and Brannon are buddies and band mates, but he works with Brannon as a mechanic and works night with the band. But does he have groupies that really follow him around ,You can't say that he's a man whore ,but he's not celibate neither But there's one thing about Cody and that is he's a protector .But when the owner of the bar introduces him to the new waitress Isla ,Cody is immediate attracted to her , but she like wild game that 's caught in the headlights .and she's also shy. But the sexy Cody just wants to protect her . Cody tries for weeks to get her to talk to him ,but at the same time he's watching every move she makes around the bar,well he's playing with the band. But while Isla tries to avoid him, she's every much is attracted to him, but she has secrets . Isla has problems also ,but her secrets are harmless but also dangerous so it's best if she doesn't get involved and keep her distance. So soon they give into their feelings of passion which gets really hot and steamy real quick I could tell you more about this touching story ,but that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this story ,you won't be disappointed.

Easy Little Lick by Sibylla Matilde is the third book in her Copperline series. A series about a band called the Bangin' Mofo's that so far has been off-the charts hot in the bedroom, deep and twisted in the plot department, and entertaining beyond belief. A definite auto-read series AND author for me. This third book is well-paced and well-written and takes a good guy to a dark place and brings light to a poor woman's heart.
Cody is the quiet drummer of the Bangin' Mofo's by night and mechanic for Brannon by day. He is strong, loyal, and not a man-whore like his other band-mate Jason. He is easy-going and plays up his "dumb" drummer persona as it's easier than being wicked-smart on top of wicked-talented. He is quietly looking for his "one" and he hasn't found her yet amidst all the barely-dressed groupies (no surprise there).
Ilsa is a new waitress at the Copperline. That's the bar where the band headlines on the weekends. She is immediately warned off the band but a quiet and slow-building attraction forms between her and Cody. Slowly they begin to interact and it just begins to snowball from there.
He's looking for the one but she doesn't want to drag him into her dark secrets. Can he handle it or does he cut his losses? You will just have to read on to find out.

Can I start off by telling you that this mofo is mine? Yup, I already bagsied Cody!
This book is the third in Sibylla Matilde's Copperline series. Based around a group of guys called, The Bangin' Mofos, who play at the Copperline bar, we have so far met Brannon, Denny and now Cody.
I had been looking forward to Cody's book for some time after falling for him in Sibylla's earlier books. Naturally, she made Cody mine. Ha!
In Easy Little Lick, we introduced to Cody as the drummer of the band, and the one who is generally the quiet and good one out of the lot of them. But of course, the quiet ones are usually the baddest, right?
Cody meets Ilsa one night at the Copperline. She's different, but he sees something inside of her that nobody else has. The attraction is instant, but there is something in the background, something in Ilsa's mind that is holding them back.
I can't spoil too much for you, but this book was full of raw emotion that held me throughout. You can always count on Sibylla to deliver a book with a knock-out punch, and that's exactly what Easy Little Lick did for me.
And... the lead loves Korean Pop Music, so I had awesome fun with the playlist and those scenes in the book. Congratulations on another cracking read, Sibylla!! I love Cody a lot!!

I love a rocker book and I am definitely partial to a drummer. Cody totally didn't disappoint!
Cody was described as a big teddy bear and I completely agree. He was living a bit of the rockstar life with the groupies but wasn't really enjoying it anymore. Then Ilsa started working in the bar he played and he was hooked!! I loved that he was a guy who honestly wanted a long term relationship, he grew up in a loving home and marriage was sacred to him.
Isla was such a mystery her hot and cold, I want you but can't attitude was frustrating at times. I just knew it was more than shyness I knew this girl had some serious issues she was hiding.
Cody was so patient but persistent, he wanted her no matter how long it took. When they final connected it was hot as hell but when her secrets came out she was pushing away again. A past tramatic experience would not let Cody give up. At some points I wasnt sure they would make.
Sometimes your night in shinning armor doesn't ride a horse he rides a motocycle, he doesn't slay the dragon he fights the monsters from your past and he doesn't rule a country he plays the drums but in the end he is your hero, your protector and he will do whatever it takes to win your love!
I was very excited to see this was part of a standalone series. I will most certainly be finding the rest of them.

I Absolutely LOVED this story.
An intense but loving relationship between Cody and Ilsa. Ilsa was part of a life she was forced into by her parents and when the time was right, after violent abuse, she finally was able to escape it. She managed to get away with her little boy, Max, hoping to stay low under everyone's radar for fear he would find her, He being her abusive husband. While finding a waitress job earning cash money, she didn't fit in with everyone because she kept to herself but she knew this was the way it had to be if she didn't want to be found. Then she met the MOFOs. A band that played there regularly and immediately she was drawn to the drummer, Cody. Cody was a special man, he got his regular kicks like the rest of them but he was more laid back and more of a relationship kind of guy. Cody determined to get her to open up to him. She was feeling the attraction but knew nothing could happen between them. Things happen and now she has to live with the consequences but Cody is so far in that he actually admits to loving her. Then something's happens and you get totally hooked on this story. My heart literally drops a few times. What a wonderful story with a wonderful ending. Just because you may think your life is over, it's up to you to make that change and live.

Where the heck was I when these books came out? I love rockstar romances! So I think Cody has been my favorite so far. Oh my god I love him! He is so sweet, sexy and smart, except everyone view him as the dumb drummer he doesn't get any credit for how smart he really is or what an incredible person he is. Ilsa studies him from afar and see's all of this. It angers her how people treat him until she finally speaks up.
Cody has been studying Ilsa from a far too, she is not the typical barmaid she is beautiful in a natural and understated way. She doesn't attract much attention but she sure has attracted Cody's.
Ilsa has secrets and can't get involved in a relationship but with the push of Cody she is letting her guard down. Cody is determined to find out what her secrets are and help her. All while Ilsa's boss (Doug) and owner of the Copperline has made it clear that all hands are off of her.
Cody can't deny the pull to her and will not listen to Doug. Will they be able to make a relationship work with all the secrets?
I love bad boys but there is something about the good boy that is so hot, especially when he is a good boy that likes to do bad things. ;)
I think you will love Cody and Ilsa's story.

This was an emotional read for me, This couple were deeper and I connected with them on a different level.
There were sweet tender moments that pulled on your heart strings and lets be honest us ladies are a sucker for this type of thing.There was nothing easy about this relationship they were a ticking time bomb waiting to explode but when the explosion happened it was magnificent.
Cody is totally taken when he meets Isla the new barmaid at the copperline bar his band play in. He immediately recognises that she is shy, reserved and holds many secrets, but he is drawn to her like a magnet even ignoring the warning given to him from the bar owner.
Isla's life is a mess but its her mess and she doesnt want anyone to fall into the web alongside her. She tries to keep herself to herself but Cody is a very persistent and persuasive man. and she soon finds herself unable to say no anymore. and their journey really begins...

I really love this series! The MOFO's are awesome and so much fun to read about. In Easy Little Lick, it's Cody's story. Cody meet's Ilsa at the Copperline, the bar that the MOFO's play at and where Ilsa is the new bar maid. Cody isn't like all his friends, he's looking for the girl of his dreams. He isn't into a ton of meaningless hook ups, not when he knows there's someone out there for him.
Cody is immediately drawn to Ilsa, she's quite and reserved and tries to hide in the shadows. As they begin to get closer, Cody figures out a couple of her secrets, but there are still a lot of them that Ilsa hasn't told him yet. Just when Cody thinks things are going great for the two of them, he gets the shock of a lifetime, but Cody doesn't plan to give Ilsa up and will do whatever he can to make sure she is his forever.
This book is part of a series, but they can be read as standalones, but the other books are amazing, so I would definitely go pick them up if I were you!

And Cody just officially stole a large chunk of my heart....sigh who doesn't love a man with a heart of gold that can also rock your world in the bedroom. I'm pretty sure that's like everyone's dream man LOL.
This story was quite a bit different from the others in the series so far. Or at least that's my personal opinion. Not that it wasn't just as amazing, just as hot, and just as suck you in until you pass out wonderful, cause it totally was all of those things. I guess I would say it was just a more sensitive subject. Not as light as the others, and packed full of emotions and angst that will leave you unable to do anything but continue to turn the page.
The feels you will get from reading this one will be intense. Your heart will break, it will mend back together again and then just when you're sitting on the edge of your seat, the heat will pick up and you will be left panting.
I literally don't know what else to say. This series just keeps getting better as it goes and I cannot recommend it enough!

Cody is definitely my favorite so far, although Brannon is a very close 2nd. And while I could sympathize with Ilsa’s plight, I thought she should have been honest with Cody from the beginning. He should have been able to decide for himself it going after her was worth the risk. Her saying I can’t and you shouldn’t over and over wore on me a bit.
Cody is a really great guy – big snuggly, doesn’t want the ‘rock star’ lifestyle and wants to settle down, wants to have a family of his own to love and protect, kind and tender-hearted. And hello – drummer! That’s pretty much all I need to know.
Ilsa is strong at times but as stated above shows a bit of weakness when not fully trusting Cody to hear her truth. She is shy and withdrawn even after coming out of her shell near the end of the book; I still don’t know her well and don’t know whether or not I like her. Cody Driscoll is the drummer for the Bangin’ Mofos. He and his band headline the Copperline Bar. Despite his height, he is a sweetheart and the one band member that is seen as settling down.
When a new woman begins working at the bar, Cody is immediately drawn to her in a protective way. Ilsa is withdrawn and quiet, unlike most women he has known. But, even with her sheltered demeanor, Ilsa is also drawn to Cody.
When a secret surfaces, Cody plays the best knight in shining armor role by pushing straight into Ilsa’s life. He realizes she’s the one for him, and he lets nothing come in their way.
Even though this is the third installment in the series, it can be read alone. It is the first book I have read in the series, but it has placed the other two near the top of my TBR list. I know everyone will fall in love with Cody as much as I did.

When a new woman begins working at the bar, Cody is immediately drawn to her in a protective way. Ilsa is withdrawn and quiet, unlike most women he has known. But, even with her sheltered demeanor, Ilsa is also drawn to Cody.
When a secret surfaces, Cody plays the best knight in shining armor role by pushing straight into Ilsa’s life. He realizes she’s the one for him, and he lets nothing come in their way.

They're back and this time we experienceCody in all his glory!
Damn this guy has it all!!!! He may be one kick ass drummer with looks that have girls dropping their panties and dreaming he's "The One" but the best is his heart the size of Texas.
When he meets Ilsa, the chemistry is there and HE knows she's his forever yet she deflects him at every turn. Once he begins to break through her barriers things change. Although she still keeps a very dark secret that will come back to haunt her.
These two are the perfect pair. I loved Denny's story but Cody stole my heart and ran with it. Each book in this series is captivating in its own right. They just keep getting better OR maybe the author has entranced me. I would never consider myself a groupie but this is the set of guys that could change that :)
What's up next? Drew's story. And I'm already to line up tor a front row seat!

Heat: 4 (there are some pretty descriptive scenes)
What I like: The book is told from Cody's POV and I am starting to really enjoy books that are from the male POV entirely. If you knew Ilsa's secret from the beginning, the book wouldn't be as good, so not having Ilsa's POV is important. Cody is very likable as a person which was nice. While he alludes to sleeping around a bit, he is far from a manwhore which is great.
What I didn't like: I felt it was pretty predictable. I figured out what Ilsa's secret was pretty quickly. The book was still good though and even though I had figured it out, it didn't stop me from reading.
This is part of a series. The first two books are too racy for me but I was able to read this one without having read the previous two. Apparently Cody is the only member of the band who isn't into group sex... (nothing wrong with wanting to read that if its up your alley; it is just not for me!)
