I went to Vegas once with this author and a mutual friend of ours. We checked into the hotel and they gave us room keys. We went up to the room and unwittingly walked in on a couple consummating their marriage. We apologized and then went down to the front desk and told them they checked us in to a room that was already occupied.
It was a moment I'll never forget.
Kinda like this book. I'll never forget it. It was good.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!! It kept me laughing, smiling, and swooning from start to finish! Between the hilarious and witty banter, the sweet and sexy romance, the totally mysterious twist, and that delightfully heart-warming feeling you were left with, this really was the perfect feel-good romance!

It has been a while since I’ve read a book thats kept a constant smile on my face. Heart Shaped Hack was just the book I needed! It was so different than the other Tracey Garvis-Graves book I read, but just as good! Maybe even better! It had romance, comedy, and even some suspense. The writing was fantastic and it was all around a wonderful 5 star read for me!

Kate gave up her law career to run a non-profit food bank. She wanted to make a difference in the world and this is where she

This story DOESN'T end with a cliffhanger and could totally be read as a standalone. The marking as book one in a series means that the next book will be the further adventures of one or both characters. That being said, the author delivered an enjoyable read that is loaded with fun, flirty, witty banter.

Heart-Shaped Hack was a fun, sexy and unique read - full of hilarious banter. This feel good romance had me constantly smiling. Ian and Kate were adorable together, so many of their interactions were perfection. Kate is running a food shelter, with winter around the corner, she is desperate for some donations, so she reaches out to the local news station. A modern day Robin Hood story with all the goodies the original didn't have: sex and fast cars. Ian is a computer hacker who takes an interest in Kate's public plea to help her organization feed the poor and homeless.

The original Robin Hood fought the bad guys with bows and arrows and in this modern day fairy tale version Ian uses his hacking skills to rob from the rich to give to the poor. And when it comes to Ian fighting other guys for the woman he loves

This was my first read by this author and certainly won’t be my last. I really enjoyed this entertaining story and I loved the fantastic writing style. “Heart Shaped Hack” is the first book in the series, but since it doesn’t end with a cliffhanger, it can be read as a standalone.

Kate Watts gave up her law career sixteen months ago to open a food pantry. While she loves her job and helping people, she never thought her new job will be so difficult. She’s struggling not to turn hungry

Pitter Patter, goes my Heart!

Can I just RAVE about how much I LOVED “Heart-Shaped Hack” and the characters of Kate and Ian?!

Ian is totally Swoon Worthy and his love and affection for Kate is completely endearing.

In case it’s not obvious, this book had me immediately!

Ian was an enigma, a puzzle with a thousand pieces. She'd never met a man who fascinated her the way he did.

If you want a witty and funny book with great characters and fantastic banter, then this book is for you! I was a laughing fool while reading. If there were ever two characters that I seriously wanted to bring into my social circle, it would be Ian and Kate.

Hacker...when you think of what a hacker is and every conceivable cliché, well, it all fits into this book. And Ian certainly portrays every characteristic but that's not all he is...and not all he wants to be for Kate.

Kate's a pretty upstanding and honorable woman who used to be a (unfulfilled) lawyer now running a food pantry. While her professional life is satisfying, her personal one is not...until she "runs" into Ian.

Kate's not sure what to make of Ian...she doesn't even know his last nam

In short, the characters, and dialogue fell flat.

This is my first book by the author and I had such a hard time with the writing style. I don’t get why brushing their teeth or cleaning his eyeglass was necessary for the story. Many pages were wasted on tedious, unemotional description that added nothing to the main plot.

The blurb for Heart-Shaped Hack certainly caught my attention. Ian was a hacker on top of his game. Unfortunately, the author didn’t really take full advantage of this particular

Style of writing : This one was my first read by Tracey Garvis-Graves and I must say that she really impressed me with her writing and I’m immediately adding her to the list of author whom I stalk. I loved how she construc

OMG, I loved this book! A funny, sexy, intelligent romance with absolutely EPIC banter! I love the characters, I love their story, and the romance is beautiful! It’s such a fun read and I highlighted like a lunatic while reading (which explains my gleefully quote-whorey review).

Kate gave up a career in law to open up a food pantry. She has a strong desire to make a difference in her community, and she works incredibly hard to help those that

Before I continue, let me just say that I LOVED her On the Island Series and I was looking forward to this book.

But this book was somewhat not as exciting as that Series.

It’s a very sweet and cute love story about a hacker and how he meets a really endearing woman, who does good for the community….and fall in love!

Tracey is a friend of mine. I'm just going to throw that right out there because I never want readers of our blog to feel that I'm deceptively pushing you into buying my friends' books. I struggled with whether or not I should even write a review for this because I'm probably a little too close to the project to be completely objective. However, I loved this book and part of the reason I do this whole blogging thing is to share good books so I'm sharing my thoughts. As always, you can decide for ...more

These characters are so unique and I was immediately addicted to their dialogue and banter. Tracey Garvis-Graves writing is quick witted and the story moves at such a quick pace. There were so many moments I literally giggled or laughed out loud. Furthermore, I loved the unique plot line. I have never read a book about a hacker, but I immediately fell in love with Ian. Together these two were perfection! It was the perfect read, sexy, funny, romantic, and just the right amount of angst.
What a great story luvd it

Kate as spent al her life wantin a career in law but when it just wasn't doin it 4 her she knew she wanted 2 help people so she opened up the food pantry but things were a lil hard she needed a steady flow of money so she decided 2 do an appeal 2 get donation she didn't get many but one day her employee Helena came in an said some as just dropped in a bag of money she could believe what was happening this would help so much an then the next month it happened again

Looking for a light hearted read that will have you smiling from ear to ear the whole way through? (Well... almost.)  Look no further. Tracey Garvis-Graves' Heart-Shaped Hack is fraught with humor and sarcasm, witty banter and colorful characters that had me fully engaged in this story before I could even blink. This author has delivered taboo, she's given us serious, emotionally-taxing storylines and now she returns with a heartwarming contemporary romance that I could not put down. Heart-Shape ...more

Garvis-Graves definitely writes the good stuff! I could not have loved this STORY any more than I did -- it was perfect in every way -- all the "feels" are there, both Ian and Kate are top-notch unforgettable characters, and the plot is spiked with new and refreshing material and written with so much gusto and wit that even when things are going a little rough, this couple is still a mighty force. A modern day hacker version of Robin Hood.
Heart-Shaped Hack is full of witty, fun, and innuendo-laced banter. This light-hearted rom-com approach was a nice change of pace from some of the other dark & serious books I've read lately.
I enjoyed the story and would recommend it to anyone looking for a book that's on the lighter side.

I loved Garvis-Graves' other novel - On the Island, when I read it way back in May, 2014 and I really, truly hoped for Heart-Shaped Hack to be the next hit for me. But unfortunately, it wasn't a hit, it was a big miss. Actually, it was a humongous miss for me and therefore decided to DNF it after just 9 chapters.

If I'm to believe to the reviews on Goodreads, then most people actually loved it, but I couldn't get into it. It was supposed to be funny, but I didn't see ANY humour in the first 9 cha
