The Lost Tarktos of Howloifrea: The Howloifrea Chronicles
The Lost Tarktos of HowloifreaThe voices beneath the snow are running out of air.
Kelisa and her younger brother, Tif, finally found a home at Castle Wyegate, where humans, Kahti, and the powerful winged Tarktos are learning to stand as equals.
Then frost spreads across an ancient map.
Trapped voices call Tif’s name from beyond the Lewiman Mountains, while betrayal grips the kingdom and Prince Welchby lies dying behind the sealed doors of the High Castle. The warning from the north cannot be ignored.
Kelisa joins a dangerous expedition across frozen ledges, hidden crevices, and storm-buried passes. What they discover will challenge everything the Tarktos believe about their own history.
The Howloifrea are not legends. They are the descendants of Tarktos who fled into the mountains centuries ago. Changed by ice and isolation, they remember the family that abandoned them, the humans who attacked them, and the old wounds no peace agreement can easily heal.
But thirty-seven Howloifrea are trapped beneath the mountain, and the stone around them is collapsing.
To save them, four peoples must work together. Yet something else sleeps below the an ancient vessel, a damaged guardian, and a secret older than every human kingdom.
The Howloifrea were never truly lost.
The road between them was.
The Lost Tarktos of Howloifrea continues Kelisa and Tif’s journey in The Howloifrea Chronicles, an epic fantasy adventure filled with telepathic creatures, hidden civilizations, dangerous mountain rescues, found family, and a forgotten history waiting to awaken.
