I read this book to write a unit for my Practical English class. It's a senior class and this is a great resource. This book is aimed at college level classes, so some of the content needs to be modified for that level.
Worth checking out.

Read the newest edition. I absolutely loved this text book. It’s one that I will keep on my shelf and refer to regularly. It was a fun class and I learned a lot.
