This story is written in a flashback mode, where kosha's daughter is reading her mom's story..
Story revolves around a girl named kosha, carefree, cool attitude, photographer by profession and a person who prefers to live life on the edge ...she runs away from her own engagement leaving everything behind through the help of her best friend, leaving her would be fiance behind..
Kosha never believed in love coz of some of the unfruitful incidents which happened in her life some years back and thus made her believe that love is a sheer waste of time and marriage never lasts..
But suddenly, what happened next? What twists and turns actually took place in her life? What made her believe in love? What are those unfruitful experiences which kosha had? Why kosha don't believe in love and marriages? To find out all the mysteries and the answers to them, just sit back and have one tequila and enjoy reading this tipsy book...
Positive aspects :
The cover and the blurb and the title just simply goes apt with the story and its simply perfect...you cannot find even a single error, neither punctuation errors nor editing..apart from this conversations which take place between tanu and kosha, kosha and her daughter is simply touching, any person can relate with them..
The characterization of each and every character is beautifully characterized..
Negative aspects :
Supriya has not justified with the rest of the characters in comparison with kosha, i felt everyone was sidelined..besides this, some past moments were unnecessarily written again and again..!
Story was a bit predictable too..!
Conclusion :
This book is just like a refreshing and intoxicating tequila, and you can simply dive into the different flavors of the book and can enjoy this wonderful book..! A short, simple, catchy book with a different story, with a lesson to learn at the end..!

"One Tequila, 2 Tequilas" by Supriya Parulekar is a cute story with a feisty, independent, confident heroine.
There is lots of drama - just what you would expect from a story based in India - including a wicked aunt and a greedy brother; even an evil betrothed.
The story has some very lovely, loyal friends too; lots of adventure, many involving tequila, naturally; and - ahem - hot love-making.
The editing could have been tighter; that was a bit distracting, but overall, a quick, crazy adventure!
There is lots of drama - just what you would expect from a story based in India - including a wicked aunt and a greedy brother; even an evil betrothed.

Plot:
The story is written in a flashback form where Kosha’s daughter is reading her mother’s story.
Carefree, tequila-loving and a photographer by profession, Kosha runs away from her own engagement with the support of her chirpy and fun-loving best friend Tanu leaving her would-be fiance Harsh in the altar. Due to some bad indents of her life, she never believed in love and accepts Tanu’s words that life is a Kamini cheez. Then there is Siddharth, loving caring, simple and sweet guy, cousin of Harsh who assures him to bring back kosha in his life. But destiny has decided something else for them. In between this simple tale, lies some wicked villians who are bringing multiple problems in everyone's’ lives.
Who are these villains and what are their objectives?
Will Siddharth be able to bring Kosha back in Harsh’s life?
What is there in Kosha’s sad past?
Will Kosha ever fall in love?
What role will her favorite drink tequila play in her life?
Will Kosha’s daughter read her mother’s love story, a story of her bad past or the story of the way she used to elope from her wedding and engagement functions?
Take a sip of this tangy, magnificent, drama-filled, lovely tequila to get all the answers!!
My Opinion:
Positives:
One of the first things that attract a reader towards the book is its title and I must say that the title Supriya has chosen for her book is extremely eye catchy and is completely in sync with the story. Next is the cover which suits the story and content pretty well.
Apart from these some of the highlights of the story include the dialogue and chit-chat between best friends Kosha and Tanu. One could actually connect to them because of the way they talk and behave with each other. Also, the way in which tipsy Kosha behaved in the entire story is well written. The character of Kosha is wonderfully defined and narration is kept simple and sweet. Further, the ending with Kosha’s daughter in Ladhak and her tequila moment gave a cute touch to the book.
The story is written in Karan Johar style and if made into a film will actually turn into a blockbuster. Also, this 176 page journey becomes a quick and refreshing read once someone starts reading it.
Shortcomings:
As a coin has two sides, this book has some shortcomings as well. In the shadow of Kosha’s character, other characters are not justified properly. Besides this, some of the past facts reveled in the story are repeated unnecessarily creating a negative effect (story behind Mita’s death). The story is also a bit predictable in the ending. Besides this, the story of Kosha (read by Samiera) should have been written in first person format since it was written in a diary-story manner.
Final Opinion:
A quick read, One Tequila, 2 Tequilas… will imbibe its readers into it right from the moment they will start reading it. Targeting young, adult and middle aged people, this is a refreshing reading experience for those who are tired of reading lengthy, self-help books. Grab this book and dive into a glass full of intoxicating tequila and trust me this will indeed prove to be a refreshing experience for you.

One tequila 2 tequila, 3 tequila floor!! No this isn’t the title of this novel. But this is exactly how I felt when I was done with this book! I laughed. I was thoughtful (and believe me. I thought a lot!). I fell in love. I learned. I simply loved the book. The cover of the book is as neat as an imagination. That again has always been the trend with the all the titles by Gargi Publishers. The blurb is just about the right content to keep the readers on the cliff. It is a love story but reiterated from a very unique angle.
In the surge of discovering how her mother found her love in Siddharth, Samiera reads her mom’s diary.
It was indeed beautifully written and it reached out into the depths of my soul. My heart just poured out as I read the last few pages of the book. Such a tiny book to stir such great emotions in me.
It's such a quick read, but man does this book pack an emotional punch. The characters really come to life.

Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge..beta version but narrated is such a beautiful tone that if one reads it all you will feel is that the strength of love. No I don’t mean to say that this tale is a Bollywood masala, but this tale is a wonderful narration of how love can be sorted and attained.
The story runs in multiple angles yet retains the essence of one thread tale.
So do you ever know that you are falling in love? Can you guess if someone is just the right match? Are there violins that play, music that rings or cool breeze.. nope love is when you know that there isn’t anything beyond this emotion, love is when it just feels right despite the world beats against.
She was perfect, he was no less..love was never meant to be for both. She was almost getting married to someone else. He had already failed in love and there wasn’t another go. But their fates crossed destiny had a written slate and it had to happen. Love had to happen.
This tale is a narration of a memoir of a mother to her daughter. A decked up marriage arrangement, the bride all set to marry someone who she doesn’t love..hoping against hope that her love storms into her marriage and proposes to her.. times tick and moments intensify the bride, her bff still cling to that bare little hope in the love she had, the anticipation builds up. Just when there enters the hero, not to elope but to marry the bride with dignity and pride he proposes her father for marriage and ..volla they are happily married.
Although the novel focuses on the love story of a married couple, there wasn’t a moment when too many characters in the tale took away the spark. The Author has beautifully managed to weigh each character in balance ensuring every one has a reason to stay in the tale. It follows the story line of any typical gossip of the B Town, the one we love to spice, there were indeed dramatic deviations from this fact, yet it held a great read!
The story flowed well and there was a good balance between reality and fiction, it in short seemed like a mission to take the seven rounds of the fire. Lightly put!

The novel falls under “Romance”, and also, slightly on par with “Chick-lit” and “soft-erotica” genre. A fiction that reminds you Bollywood masti movies of Kangana Renault and Kareena Kapoor. A thoroughly enjoyable, filmy novel that I loved reading.
The story of Kosha, the boisterous and passionate young lady who falls in love with an unexpected person. She is a wildlife photographer who always risks her life for passion and strolls by life’s calling. How and with whom she falls in love? What happens to her love story? Happy ending? – read the novel to know more.
First Impression – The best title and unrivaled cover. Suits the theme, is so ‘pickable’, and I would also say the book is unputdownable. The blurb is again the best of its kind.
Overall Impression: Very cute indeed, a light read for a nice evening. Tempts to read more. I loved the characters of the protagonists. Kosha and Siddharth. Their love making scenes were so passionate and deep. The author succeeds, leafing the right element at the right place.

Firstly, Congrats Supriya Ma'am for this one its totally tequilas-tic ...
This is the 1st time I'm reading Supriya Mam's book though she is the proud author of four books I'm reading her work for the first time, i must say the way she describes characters and plot is totally mesmerising, u can actually visualise beautiful plots of the book, so one can easily say this book is a visual treat for the readers like me....
From kosha's carefree girl to Siddharth's emotional nature...
From Dhruv's Amazing buddy-ship To Harsh's Devilish approach..
From Tanu's supportive and caring friendship to Nalini's selfish and bitchy means ...
From Sudha and Shekhar's selfless love for their kids to Jignesh's "not understanding his daughters"... This book is the intoxicating journey of denial,tipsy moments, smiles and lots of love..
P.S= I would recommend all the beautiful girls "who believes that there is a prince charming"waiting for them to read this one as this book mite help u to find one (winks)

This is an enjoyable read about a daring girl who manages to run away on the day of her marriage to chase her dreams. But, her reality is that her dreams are chasing her…too much fun… Yes, this is a roller-coaster ride of love, bouncing between heart, mind and relations. Her dreams come chasing her only to divulge her real self, which even she was not informed about. Till the end, you cannot make out what the author had destined for her?
If I limit my point of view in one line, it would be – A delectable potpourri of emotions, relations, love, trust and betrayals.
The author’s story telling technique is convincing. It was easy to visualize her descriptions and thus I felt as if I am watching some production movie. I have learnt that she is an experienced script writer and thus, I comply with what she has to offer. I also learnt about her forthcoming movie projects. After reading her work in this book, I am now excited to watch her next work.

“Fate controls who walks into your life, but you decide who you let walk out, who you let stay and who you refuse to let go.” The saying fits best with the plot of this story. The characters are well crafted. The readers are compelled to enter into a parallel world of imagination where the each chapter is happening right in front, somewhere in the subconscious mind. Somewhere the book contains shades of romance that remind the readers of “Mills and Boon”. The author has perfectly mastered the task of keeping the attention of the readers transfixed such that it becomes difficult to put the book down and take a break. The personality, of all the characters, is admirable, be it daunting one or charming one.
The proofreading, use of expressions and the narration is perfect. Lucidity, continuum, drama; are some of the adjectives that fit right for the plot. The cover of the book is mesmerizing and goes with the title pretty well.
Overall, a recommended book for all those who are all ears and eyes for romance and passion. Kudos to the author for portraying the emotions so well.

A light read!
If you are in search of a book that would make you believe in goodness, karma and love, you should read One tequila, 2 tequilas. This book will make you believe in a phrase – Everything is going to be alright in the end, if not, that’s not the end. An expected plot it has, but the description done by the author, will force you to read it till the end. You would be forced to blush while reading Siddhartha and Kosha’s journey of love and romance.
I would Recommend this book to those who love to read stories with happy endings. If you’re in mood to read something that’s full of romance and passion, this book is for you.

"Love isn't always wrong, it's the person who defines it for us makes us have our own perceptions."
But Kosha Thakkar never really believed in such things. For her, love wasn't her cup of tea, love did not rule her world, she didn't wish to spoil anything in her life with something as love. For her, perfect love was a myth for after a certain time, things changed and people changed some more. She wasn't ready to live up to such changes so she decided to stay away from the ultimate cause of them, love.
On the other hand, was a soul living so pure, and so selfless that he refrained himself from the best he ever saw. Siddharth Sarabhai, the only emperor to the Sarabhai Industries had to keep his heart locked inside a box for he had vow his love to a guy who never really wanted it, but it's rightly said, when love comes into the picture, the rest of the world cease to matter and so did it happen with him.
The handsome young man, and the gorgeous young lady had their destinies written in heaven, even if they wish to resist it, they couldn't; even if they wished to walk away, they couldn't and so they walked towards each other and the sparks flew.
For her, there was no happy ending!
For him, the heart never existed!
But then, love happened, just once and then forever.
The author, Surpriya Parulekar actually made me believe in destinies, love and forevers, though such things cease to exist nowadays but I guess, that's why we create fictions, to live moments which might not visit us in reality and even it they do, we're prepared to love it even more. ;)
One Tequila, Two Tequilas will make you smile through the pages and cry through the words yet you won't like to put it down just yet because who doesn't wish to remain in a fairytale, who doesn't want to be a part of the perfect story, an amazing happy ending.
A girl, who never left her lips untouched of a bottle, a guy who never touched it at all, yet the intoxication of love made them live through days and dance through nights only to make their hearts synchronise as one, as they remain to stay bottles of two tequilas and yet love like one.
From my take, it changed a lot in me, it told me how to love and how to win that love if it isn't gifted to you, because giving up is always easy, but holding on to it is something which creates a memory in the end and so did Kosha and Siddharth do, left a memory with me to cherish forever, a memory which states that after all, forever aren't that difficult to hold on and love isn't that easy to let go.
But Kosha Thakkar never really believed in such things. For her, love wasn't her cup of tea, love did not rule her world, she didn't wish to spoil anything in her life with something as love. For her, perfect love was a myth for after a certain time, things changed and people changed some more. She wasn't ready to live up to such changes so she decided to stay away from the ultimate cause of them, love.
On the other hand, was a soul living so pure, and so selfless that he refrained himself from the best he ever saw. Siddharth Sarabhai, the only emperor to the Sarabhai Industries had to keep his heart locked inside a box for he had vow his love to a guy who never really wanted it, but it's rightly said, when love comes into the picture, the rest of the world cease to matter and so did it happen with him.
The handsome young man, and the gorgeous young lady had their destinies written in heaven, even if they wish to resist it, they couldn't; even if they wished to walk away, they couldn't and so they walked towards each other and the sparks flew.
For her, there was no happy ending!
For him, the heart never existed!
But then, love happened, just once and then forever.
The author, Surpriya Parulekar actually made me believe in destinies, love and forevers, though such things cease to exist nowadays but I guess, that's why we create fictions, to live moments which might not visit us in reality and even it they do, we're prepared to love it even more. ;)
One Tequila, Two Tequilas will make you smile through the pages and cry through the words yet you won't like to put it down just yet because who doesn't wish to remain in a fairytale, who doesn't want to be a part of the perfect story, an amazing happy ending.

A girl is finicky. Finicky about love, marriage, life and everything living or non-living. Then there's a lineage of Sarabhai's. Harsh the dapper one and Siddharth the subdued yet the bearing one. But paths of these three are never meant to cross until Kosha decides to take matters in her hands. So how everything will spiral out of control? Will there be stability? What is going to be the fate of the three young ones? Let's find out.
The story's only positive impact is that it is fluid and easy to comprehend.
The downside of the plot is the story itself. Hardly anything new to offer and fishing in a known territory. No remarkable idea to make the plot look worthwhile. It just keeps mincing on the predictable aspects and barely nudges into a new zone. The love, the aches and even the devious plans are a monotonous routine. A fairly predictable end adds to the misery of the plot.
All in all the book is nowhere tipsy turvy neither it gives a hangover to live with. Rather it fails to surmount and blaze past the known routines. It rather unceremoniously continues to draw on feeble tit-bits. A fairly average story with no spice at all.

A nice and sweet book. Wonderful narration, Romance and Humor. The book was so gripping that one could not stop it till it got finished. As a reviewer, I finished it in two days. One can read it during free time as well as if they want some drama and thrill to read and also if they are waiting for someone who would make their life full of love.
