If you are curious about American Indian food, this is one of the more authentic cookbooks you can find that are published. They list what region each recipe is from too.

Excellent book... just wish it had color pictures... but the content and the way it takes us on a seasonal journey is spectacular.

I picked this up because I was looking for some traditional Native American recipes to help our family celebrate the harvests and traditions of the new world. This was a great find and an interesting read. Some of the recipes are a bit inaccessible, (but I keep trying) others are wonderful.
