Hmm, I don’t know...

I had such high hopes for this one because I’m a huge fan of men-in-uniform romances.

Here's what worked for me in this book:

Hero – Hot, dimples, animal in bed, badass, strong, brave, loyal, protective, caring, a bit broken and vulnerable. Enough said.

Secondary characters - I loved everything about the tactical unit and the hstage situations (however wrong that may sound), especially the interactions among Hetch’s friends. And I really hope each of them gets

What a pleasant surprise this book was! It grabs you from the very first page and takes you on the ride of your life! The romance between Liberty and Hetch is hot, tension-filled, and very sweet. It's amazing how the romance doesn't suffer in the midst of all the suspense, but it doesn't. I savored each word of every page thoroughly.

Hetch is the leader of a SWAT team, an elite unit used to resolve high-risk situations such as hostage rescue and riot control. He is trai

If you have read a River Savage book before, then you are familiar with her Knights Rebels MC Series where her stories are a bit gritty, violent, and raw. And so when I found out River Savage was writing a new series, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on HETCH and see what Ms. Savage has in store for her readers and the new direction this series will take on.

HETCH, the first book in the Men of Swat Series was a complete surprise. Well mor

If you were to group Hetch into the world of romance then you would be very mistaken. This book wasn't just a romance, it had a lot more depth than that. Our Hero, Hetch, was the main focus of the story and we really got to understand him and his motives. Exploring his life living with PTSD, and the affects it has on him, took over the book and made it very captivating.

Hetch was witness to a tragic event that he now can't get out of his head. In order to be the leader of his SWAT team he has to

Wow!! I feel like doing something bad right now just so I could get in trouble!! From the moment I read the first page,I knew this book was going to take me on one hell of a ride. This is how stories are supposed to be portrayed. We go on a journey with these charcters from the good to the down right ugly, all the way to finish line and pray like heck they get their happily ever after. We believe so much in these characters and their fight, that we sometimes forget our own re

Nailed it! That's about all I can muster up for words at the moment. This was one of the best books I've read in a while. Amazing from the beginning to the very end. Every emotion I felt was so worth it. Not let down in the least with this book at all. Every hope and expectation I had going in was met and surpassed. River has definitely hit the #platinum with this one folks!

Hetch is absolutely one of the best men I have eve
H/h are neighbors and she gets hot and bothered listening to him have sex with OW.

Which as happens with boring books it takes twice as long to read because I kept putting it down. I was so close to this being a DNF for me but I hate doing that so I kept with it.

I picked this book thinking it was going to be a suspense filled read about a S W A T team WRONG!!
It was a love story between two people one who worked as a child councillor at a boys home and the other is part of a S W A T team. It was all a bit to soft f

So... what to say? I'm disappointed, my hopes turned to dust and I want to punch Hetch in the face.

I'm aware that I'm in the minority with my rating and thus my feelings for this book. But that's life. Other people got different opinions and that's great. Otherwise our world would be so boring. And my opinion of this book is really *.!?&/ç ... yeah, don't really know how to tell you.

Hetch is a S.W.A.T. team leader. He often has to talk people down in hostage or suicide situations. He's had some experience with this in his personal life also. Sometimes it all gets to be too much for him. He's great at helping others, but he needs to learn to give himself that same courtesy.

Liberty works in a home for teen boys. It's not an easy job. Many of her charges have the streets calling them, and she goes above and beyond to try

This story had just what I needed. I really enjoyed the characters who were in their thirties. They and their occupation felt authentic and so did the dialogue. This was my first book by River Savage and I enjoyed it tremendously. I was entertained from start to finish. I needed an adult romance story and I think that's why I gravitated towards the characters. In one way or another I felt I could relate or understand them.

Liberty was just fabulous. I loved how humble she was and that she thorou

this was an enjoyable start to a new series by this author. it's a bit different to what we are used to from her and in a good way. nice amount of suspense, action and smutty but still fluffy romance. all done and presented in a great combination and flow to the story. although it could be cliché at times, i liked it and look forward to seeing more from this brotherhood and other side characters as the series continues on.

What's not to LOVE about this book...The cover...*faints*...River Savage is one of my favorite authors...and the story is centered around men in uniform!!! ;)

HETCH definitely lived up to my expectations and then some. I'm so excited for the promise of what the rest of this series holds.

One of my favorite parts was when Hetch and Liberty first meet at the bar. The banter between them through this scene and what ensues directly after was OUTSTANDING!! I loved how Liberty didn't crumble under the
One of the HOTTEST reads of the year for sure! I laughed, cried, and SWOONED HARD in this phenomenal start to a SEXY and INTENSE new series! Ridiculously HOT sex scenes, a gripping storyline, smart writing...what more could you ask for in a 5 STAR Romance?

If you are familiar with River's Knights Rebels MC Series, you know that she doesn't hold back at all! She gives us such a raw and sexy romance, you can't help but be captivated with every turn of the page. In HETCH, River tackles the issue of
Liam Hetcherson works as a SWAT team leader. He’s full of humor and life. But, he’s also broken after having witnessing a family member taking their own life. This stays with him and he can’t shake it. Waking up with nightmares more nights than not, he suffers from PTSD. It’s not good for the job he’s in, and it’s just not good for him.

Explosive, emotional, and enticing, Hetch hitches itself to your head and heart and never lets go. Sexy. Suspenseful. Soul-searing. A story of life, love, and loss, Hetch touches deep inside, pulling all of the feels. Sadness. Anger. Hope. Happiness. You’re embedded in this tale every. Step. Of. The. Way.

I was a bit nervous yet excited to meet River Savage’s newest novel, Hetch. It is not an MC book. I repeat: Hetch is NOT an MC book. What?!? The Queen of MC ditched the Knights for something el

I have to agree with my co-reviewer; this cover photo is a fantastic representation of Hetch and a particular scene in the story.

Hetch is a SWAT team leader that is dealing with the aftermath of his father’s death. This is made harder by the fact that some aspects of his job forces that pain to the surface.

Liberty works with troubled teen boys; she really puts her all into it and gets attached easily. Liberty has moved into a new apartment and is on a sabbatical from men. All is going well unti

I totally get that in a romance story there is going to be angst, drama and maybe the odd break down of the relationship and the inevitable reconciliation, I do totally get that and look forward to it all. That said, what I totally don't understand and gets my eckles rising is when the couple split up, get back together only to split up again. Then weeks go by with one of the peeps crying, and const

I cannot believe this is the first book I've read by this author. This will definitely have to be rectified as I absolutely loved this book.

Hetch is a SWAT team leader. He refuses to be in a relationship but isn't short of women jumping into bed with him. Unfortunately his heads not in a good place. Liberty his neighbour is a youth worker. Taking a break from sex isn't so easy when she is listening to Hetch next door.

From the moment I saw the amazing cover of Hetch, I knew I had to read it. From the second I read its alluring blurb, I knew I had to devour it as soon as humanly possible. As soon as I knew this book was written by River Savage, I had no doubt that it would give me an all-feeling, intensely heated and emotionally gripping story that I wouldn’t soon forget.
