This is an appalling dictionary. Avoid like the plague. I'd strongly recommend that neither learners nor fluent speakers buy this outdated dictionary - which wasn't even much use when it came out in the first place. It is deeply unfortunate and somewhat unethical that companies are still reprinting this terrible terrible book.

If you want a useful Gaelic dictionary, use am Faclair Beag online or buy the Essential Gaelic English-Dictionary by Boyd Robertson and Ian Macdonald. Colin Mark's Gaelic-English dictionary is also great and very detailed.

The only possible use for this book is to prop up your laptop!

This is not a good dictionary, even though it has been through more reprints that the Bible, it is misleading and out-dated. It appears attractive on casual inspection because it offers Gaelic English and English Gaelic but the content is the real problem.
