This volume was more like a filler. Sounded more like an introduction to a new coming turn. There is a new character introduced that seems to be setting up things for the next chapter. Overall was a good read though.

This volume is such a cat and mouse game from Nogiku's perspective.
Her feelings of revenge is justified. She is in a very dark place and she blames Kasane and Izana for it.
Even though comparatively slow paced, I loved that even some side characters are given depth in this volume. This story has such a weird concept of beauty. I'm not able to wrap around the obsession with it sometimes. Going to such lengths just for the sake of beauty.
We also get a peek into the past and what exactly is the lipstick. I felt that it is more as a teaser for the prequel volume than anything else. I feel that it is highly unlikely that it will be explored further in the main series though.

W tomie czwartym Nogiku wkroczyła w życie Kasane i dosłownie wywróciła je do góry nogami. Seria zdarzeń przedstawionych czytelnikowi była zarówno zaskakująca, jak i momentami mroczna. Prawdziwy rollercoaster emocji/strachu rozpoczyna się jednak na dobre w części piątej wraz ze zbliżaniem się obu sióstr do siebie. Obie kobiety wydają się być do siebie pod wieloma względami podobne (jak to siostry). Im więcej szczegółów zostaje odkryte, tym bardziej uświadamiamy sobie, że Nogiku jest zdolna do naprawdę wszystkiego i nie odczuwa ona większych emocji (w przeciwieństwie do Kasane). Każda kolejna pochłonięta strona sprawia, że historia i bohaterowie mocno ewoluują, dostarczając czytelnikowi porcji długo niezapomnianych wrażeń.
Fabuła przeradza się w niezwykły szekspirowski dramat, do którego dodano przemyślane i doskonale dopasowane elementy grozy. Prawie wszystko jest tutaj „grą”, w której zdoła sobie poradzić tylko najlepszy „aktor”. Ostro pokręcona Nogiku w wielu scenach swoją postawą przytłacza Kasane. Nie jest to nic złego, tym bardziej że bohaterka na swój sposób potrafi być dla odbiorcy bardzo intrygująca.

La mangaka parvient encore une fois à bien jouer sur la tension qui se créait au travers des situations, des confrontations, qu'elle dépeint. Je ne pensais pas qu'on avancerait autant sur certains points et j'ai aimé voir les personnages poursuivre leur but et voir les découvertes qu'ils étaient amenés à faire. Bref, l'histoire se poursuit, mais avec une certaine mesure. Les personnages s'inscrivent bien dans cette mouvance, ils sont les acteurs parfaits pour le jeu que développe la mangaka.

Starts out a bit creepy and stalkerish, but we do get to learn more about Kasanes past. And she finds out that her sister (who she doesn't yet know is her sister) doesn't have a home, which is pretty sad :(
It gets more tense the further you go, so I did like this one more than the previous part. 4 stars again!

Chyba do samego końca nie będę w stanie sformuować opinii o tej mandze. Znowu z jednej strony są elementy, które zasługują na wysoką ocenę , a z drugiej są też rozwiązania, które mnie irytują i sprawiają, że chce dać jedną gwiazdkę. Tyle dobrego, że manga wyszła z tych dziwnych tonów "jezcze rozdział i się skończy... A może jednak nie".

The nature of beauty is further explored in this volume, and it fleshes out the dynamic between Nogiku and Kasane, as well as side characters. The building of tension between the characters is great.

This manga is nerve wracking! Kasane’s carefully spun lies are catching up to her without her even knowing! Though her and Habuta have been trying to conceal Kasane’s face stealing ability, Nogiku has gone full detective mode and, through her searches, we may have found out the secret behind the lipstick. This series is such an interesting storyline that has me hooked and not quite sure who to root for. The art is beautiful yet unsettling and every character has a sinister side that was cultivated through unfortunate events. The pacing in volume five is perfect for the build up of tension making it almost excoriating to read at times. So far Kasane has been a brilliant and unsettling psychological horror.

Sempre più disperato, complicato e pesante. In un mondo dove tutti nascono vittime, nessuno si esime dal diventare carnefice. Certo delle sue ragioni si prepara a infliggere sofferenza al prossimo senza rendersi conto che la vendetta lo lascerà comunque vittima del mondo che lo ha distrutto.
