"I loved this book. It reminded me of Nora Roberts' wedding series." —Ashleigh, review for The Wedding Gift
Lucy Kevin is the "sweet" pen-name of New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Bella Andre (who writes the #1 bestselling series about The Sullivans). Lucy Kevin books are fun, flirty and romantic--without the steamy scenes.

Once upon a time, Rachel Walker longed for—and sought out—adventure. But after her boyfriend found out she was pregnant and left her to raise her daughter Charlotte alone six years ago, she put her wild child days behind her. For good. So when Rachel's sister needs her to step in to help film a TV show with professional surfer Nicholas Quinn on Walker Island, she isn't the least bit worried about losing her heart to him. Nicholas has spent his entire life chasing adventure, one wave at a time, becoming a major surfing star along the way. But for all the incredible challenges he's faced around the world, he's never faced one as exciting—or as important—as winning Rachel's heart. One stolen kiss is all it takes for him to be absolutely certain that his next adventure should be taken with Rachel and her daughter Charlotte beside him. First, though, he'll have to break through every one of Rachel's walls to convince her to trust in both her dreams and his never-ending love.

Author Biography
Lucy Kevin is the pen-name of New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Bella Andre (who writes the #1 bestselling series about The Sullivans). When Lucy Kevin released her first novel, Seattle Girl, it became an instant bestseller. All of her subsequent sweet contemporary romances have been hits with readers as well, including her New York Times bestselling Four Weddings and a Fiasco series. The Washington Post has called her "One of the top writers in America." If not behind her computer, you can find her swimming, hiking or laughing with her husband and two children.
This was really touching and I like Rachel. It's easy to judge Nicholas on the outside as a carefree adventure/thrill seeker but although he is that he is much more.
That Charlotte is here was a good addition, it just showed that Nicholas's restlessness is because he hasn't met a woman he wants to settle down with.
I had fun learning of Rachel's wild side, I felt like I was on an adventure with them. I can't wait to read about Paige's story. She's only mentioned in passing most of the time, but I liked the sneek preview of how she just listens.
This was a great read. It was a nice simple love story. It follows Rachel Walker, an adventure seeker and Morgan & Hannah's sister, and her boyfriend leaving her. She is also dealing with her feeling for Nicholas, a surfer. Rachel is a loving, smart woman who loves adventures. Nicholas is cool, sexy and kind who also loves adventures. I love them together. They have great chemistry.
This is a family book as well as a love story. The Walkers are an amazing family. They are nice, talented, and cute. My favourite Walker is Grams. I love her, she seems to be the best grandma ever. Can't wait to read book four, All for Love. This series is improving and I am enjoying the progression throughout each book and couple. Overall, an enjoyable read.
I liked this story, and liked the evolution in Rachel, but would have loooveeeddd to have more of the story with Nicholas' POV. He was a littel too perfect, and knowing his reactions to her responses, him feeling anxiety, nervousness, something like that would have made it more real en would have enriched the story a little more... But all in all.. it is that kind of story that make you giddy, makes you smile and helps you believe that everything will.work out.
This is book three of a series and I think I enjoyed this more than the first two in the series. It's a fairly straightforward story as the third of three sisters finds her soulmate. It wasn't too predictable and there were enough interesting characters to keep me engaged. I'll have to read the other two soon, but these kinds of books are easy to read while I do my step program on the WiiU.
The love story of Rachel and Nicholas. Rachel was very adventurous until she had her daughter, Charlotte. When she first meet Nicholas, it was love at first touch. For Nicholas it was love too. Now is Nicholas going to show Rachel that live can be an adventure? Great story.
Was a 3.5 until the ending. Insta love. She's going to give up her whole life and drag her kid around the world after knowing this guy for a week? Get real.
Also a kid who gets sent home for vomiting doesn't get to go to school the next day. Dr said she had the flu; why the miraculous recovery?

When It's Love is a incredible story about a single mom living a safe, slightly subdued, life on Walker island with her daughter. Until the prefect adventure arrives in the form of Nicholas. It was fun watching these two very different characters find a well-deserved happiness.
Another great read in this series . I love the Walker sisters of walker island . Great adventures. Wanting a family and coming back to life . What adventure awaits.
i have worked out now that Lucy Kevin books are not sexy books, more a light lovely read. this book is lovely. rachael is a single mum who baby daddy ditched her when he was told about the pregnancy. she gave up her fun, risk taking ways to be a mum. he is there to film a tv program and he manages to convince her to help out as a guest. doing kayaking, rock climbing etc. this book has a good pace,. hes keen from the start and gets to know her daughter. he jumps the gun in the end and asks her to go travelling with him. they can home school and just live. she has a minor freak out
Rachel is a mother and very protective and not likely to take risks. After all, taking risks is what got her pregnant and alone when Charlotte's father bailed on them.
When Morgan gets sic and asks Rachel to pick up sexy surfer, Nicholas, at the ferry and get him to their grandmother's house, Rachel expects to do the favor and get back to her work. Only it doesn't quite go down that way. Soon she is taking risks again and finding that life can still be fun even while she is being responsible for her daughter. And Nicholas loves her daughter.
Another fun story by Lucy Kevin, aka Bella Andre. These sweet stories have been fun to read. 2 more sisters to go.
Really disappointed. I like Bella Andre and I like "Lucy Kevin's" Four Weddings series, but other than the first one in this series I'm not liking these last two. They feel slightly rushed and totally unbelievable. I've read stories where love happens fast, but a single mom taking her child around the world with a man she just met, and she's supposed to be so responsible?! Yeah it didn't come together for me and I would have stopped reading it but I really want Emily's story. I'll read Paige because she comes next, but I have the feeling it'll be like #2 &3, thrown together with a sappy HEA that leaves me unsatisfied.
Rachel Walker was a free out going spirit of a young women. Living life with the man she loved until the day she told that man she was pregnant. Well that man left without looking back. Leaving Rachel to raise her child Charlotte as a single parent. That changed everything in Rachel's life. She became a no none sense kind of woman with no risk taking of any kind. Not even her heart. Until the day she went to pick up a stranger for her sister. With one look at Nicholas Quinn, the fires began to burn. Will she allow them to flame and bring her out of her safe place or will she remain in the self made prison of no taking chances? I loved Nicholas Quinn :)
Rachel has gone from 'no fear, ever' to being overly cautious and worried with her favourite motto being 'that's not safe', which is a little draining but we all cope with fear in different ways and this is hers. Nicholas is renowned for doing 'high risk' sports but can he convince Rachel that fun and living a little doesn't have to be dangerous! The third book in the Walker Island series it was lovely to join Rachel, Nicholas and the gorgeous Charlotte on their journey to prove to Rachel fun can also be safe, and living is better than just existing!
This was one of my favorites of the walker island romance series. Nicolas captured Rachel's heart and adventurous side plus the love of her daughter. Simple romance story nice easy ready. I will eventually finish the series.
Yet again Lucy Kevin has written a wonderful story full of love. Rachel just needed to see how wonderful loving and sharing her life with the right man could be. A good read.
A adventurous sweet story. It was fun watching Nicholas break down the walls that Rachel had built around herself so that she didn't get hurt again. She came out of her shell and was enjoying life again. I felt the sparks and connection between them. And I absolutely loved Charlotte and the way Nicholas was with her.
