“What would you do if you had to choose between doing something bad but right and doing something good but wrong?”
First, I would like to thank the author for sending me an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Keep in mind that this has no influence on my review. These are my honest thoughts and opinions.

Len was practically born into the Noir et Bleu. Being the youngest of the Desrochers boys, illegitimate or not, has sealed Len's fate as part of the motorcycle club. Now he wants out, and all he

When a story makes you feel too much…
How does an author do that? While the story’s writing seems a degree or two separated from the hearts of the characters, still she made me care about some and dislike others. Really dislike them at times! Even from a distance I could feel the torment, the pain and the conflict that this ensemble of family, friends, of brethren, were going to live. And I wanted that distance as this raw and gritty MC story had the same realistic feel as the previous instalment

Told in Len's POV, this story felt like a realistic slice-of-biker-life.
In this genre, books can start feeling like you're reading the same thing over and over again, whereas with this one, the author has a very strong voice of her own. We get immersed in the world of the Noir et Bleu MC from the start, and each character feels like a living breathing person.

I don't want to spoil anything, but the book takes you for a ride all the way to the end.

This was my first foray into D.R. Graham's world, and I enjoyed the ride. Tait is a prospect for the Noir et Bleu MC, and has a huge opportunity to get his patch. All he has to do is track down the runaway teenage daughter of a senior member of the club. It should be simple, but he didn't count on the pain in the neck older sister helping him. This is where the exciting journey begins. The story started out quickly, and I was off to the races. A fast paced, suspense filled, and well written stor ...more

I have only read "The Handler" in this series to date but the circumstances surrounding the hero of the book was quite intriguing. At the time I didn't know it was a series so thought maybe at some point a prequel would be written. This is it. The whole sum up of the shit storm that is the Noir et Bleu MC. Coming back to the roots of the club gives great insight into to the dynamics of the relationship between the D4 and how the extended family and members were affected. After reading this book ...more

I totally loved this book. I'm typically not a reader of MC books; not for any reason, it's just been a slow genre to enter my repertoire. Then this gem popped into my life! It was a thrill ride that grabbed me from the first page. To say I'm eager to read the others in the series is an understatement. D.R. Graham brings a smart, polished story in Noir et Bleu. There are many layers, both in the story and the characters. She takes you in one direction, and then twists, but it's all a finely thou ...more
