This series continues to be outstanding! Jack Templar and his buddies face their most difficult challenge yet as they must travel through a secret portal to the Underworld in order to steal an ancient talisman. Fast paced and action-packed, there is never a dull minute as Jack and his friends face their greatest fears, and are confronted with difficult choices. Getting assistance from a couple of unexpected sources helps them locate the elusive portal but there are always additional obstacles to

Jeff Gunhus did it again! The 5th book in The Templar Chronicles; Lord of the Demons is a fantastic, fast-paced adventure that both kids and Adults would enjoy. Jack Templar and his group of Monster Hunters (some are slightly changed but alas they are hunters at heart) have set off to gain the third Jerusalem stones, as usual, their paths are rarely smooth sailing and they encounter many bizarre and dangerous beings on the way.

I really want to know the mystery of Jack's parents. What are the secrets that people are hinting at?
I have enjoyed reading this series. In the last couple of days I have reread the first 3 books and the 4 th book and now this one. They have all been constant and exciting. There has been plenty of drama, monsters, demons and teenage heroes as the sixth main characters continue on their quest to find the Jerusalem Stones. There are lots of fights between different creach and the Black Guard.

This is the fifth book in this series and it's best to read them in order so you will understand what's going on. The author gives a warning at the beginning of each book to read these at your own peril, and they're getting shorter, which is nice. Because at this point, I'm all in and ready to just get started!

Jack Templar and the Lord of the Demons is the 5th book I have read in this series and the 7th book I’ve read by Jeff Gunhus. He has become one of my favorite authors! This Jack Templar series is so good! I am not sure why it’s not being talked about everywhere. The characters in these books are so well developed and the progression the story takes is so much fun to follow. In this book, Jack is still searching for the Jerusalem stones ...more

This series continues to be super fun, even though the last two were a bit formulaic. Still, Jeff Gunhus always puts in enough that is weird, interesting, and unique that you just can't help enjoying the adventure.
