The B Team is a sentimental, journey about renewal and fresh starts, that is essentially a children’s novel. It reads quickly and is short on depth of the characters. It does contain intricate details of the horse racing world, like claiming horse, allowance horse and one mile and one sixteenth long race tracks. Bandit the one-eyed horse and Perry the hand shaking child with one eye are very adorable members of the saga.

This is a really strong story about realizing dreams, appropriate for horse racing fans and general readers alike.
