Stan and Jan Berenstain (often called The Berenstains) were American writers and illustrators best known for creating the children's book series the Berenstain Bears. Their son Mike Berenstain joined them as a creative team in the late 1980s.

A little bit of a bummer that Mom’s favorite season is fall because that’s back to school. Odd message but maybe relates to some parents.

Boy did we burn out on Berenstain Bears books by trying to read them all in a year. Yikes!

That said, this was your pretty typical 'back to school' book with nothing really standing out, other than a certain annoyance that Mama Bear doesn't seem to have a life outside the cubs. Don't expect much with this one.
