I genuinely don’t know whether to hug Phoebe or fight her after this book. 😂🖤 IDCIYC had me laughing, stressing, getting attached to people I probably shouldn’t have, and then sitting there emotionally wounded like I wasn’t warned. It’s dark, weird, heartbreaking, and somehow still full of so much heart. Stressed! Lol but I need book two now!!!

HOLY CRAP!! 😮💨This book actually was just throwing twists I never would have expected at my face the entire time and I loved it🫨🤯!! I was already obsessed with their dynamic and spice🥵 and the rekindling of their lost love, but the storyline twists just put it all on 10🫣!! Don’t even get me started about the end of this one because it was quite literally a jam dropping moment🥲🤯, so ma’am I will be needing the sequel like NEOW!😂🫠😩

I went into I Don’t Care If You’re Contagious having absolutely no idea what to expect, other than being warned that this was a tragedy and there wouldn’t be a traditional happy ending. Even with that warning, I was completely unprepared for the emotional journey Phoebe Farrow was about to take me on.
This book was incredible. It had everything I love in a dark, emotional read…romance, mystery, grief, horror, gore, plenty of open-door spice, and twists that genuinely caught me off guard. Every time I thought I knew where the story was going, it surprised me.
Azalea and Ryker completely pulled me into their story. Their chemistry was fantastic, but it was the softer, more vulnerable moments between them that really made me fall in love with their relationship. The character development was phenomenal, especially watching these two complicated, hurting people grow throughout the story.
I also loved the contrast between the romance and the darker elements surrounding it. There’s this constant feeling that something isn’t quite right, and the tension builds in a way that kept me wanting to know what would happen next.
And can we talk about the emotional damage?! I KNEW this wasn’t going to be a happily-ever-after, and somehow that knowledge did absolutely nothing to prepare me.
Dark, spicy, heartbreaking, unpredictable, and completely unforgettable. This was one of those books that took me somewhere I never expected to go, and I loved the journey.
Phenomenal character development, an addictive plot, unexpected twists, and characters I became completely invested in. Easily 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I... I am devastated. I was about 30% into this tonight, I should have been asleep an hour ago, but I HAD TO FINISH IT! And now... I am just unwell. Full disclosure, this is my first non-HEA book ever- and I don't know if my heart can handle many of them!
Azalea and Ryker were so broken by a tragic event two years ago, and their mutual pain and suffering almost tore them apart. But Azalea returns home for a visit and their fiery obsession for each other reignites, allowing them to finally put each other's broken pieces back together.
But there is something in Wisteria Falls that is leaving dead bodies in its wake. And then it happens again... but this time, Azalea and Ryker realize it's not just a random robbery or attack.
One of the ways I described my early feelings when reading was:
"something in the writing just makes you feel like you're on an existentially uneasy ride and you should know where the exit is. But, in a good way." Because as their story unfolds, we get their all-consuming, obsessive love that is hot and kinky and mind-altering for them. And you know... you know deep down there is going to be a dreadful moment when it all comes crashing down.
And when it did? I felt like I had been punched in the gut. I gasped in shock. I cried. I was like- no, no, no, no! But it was a beautifully brutal ending that truly represents how fleeting and cruel life can be.

Well this had me hooked from the first word. Ryker, our MMC, and Azalea, our FMC, are just perfect. The pain and despair Ryker was experiencing was so beautifully written, so raw, it’s hard to tell exactly how he feels about Azalea in the beginning. Does he hate her and want revenge? Or does he love her to the point of insanity? You need to read to find out! No I'm serious, go get it.
Chapter 20… 😏 oh my.
Azalea is everyone’s girl. She’s the girl next door, the quiet one in school who is nice to everyone but overlooked. She is so easy to relate to and love. Ryker is every best friend’s older brother. Need I say more?! Together they live that fantasy and they do it so perfectly, with the addition of the tragic story enveloping them. I was surprised by Ryker manipulating Azalea at one point, it seemed out of character even if he was lost in love and lust.

This line!! I gasped and expressed my delight loud enough to startle my husband. The seemingly shy, quiet, inexperienced girl next door hits us with THAT. Girl, YES! I could pick several quotes to entice you in, but that was by far my favourite, and I don't want to ruin the fun!!
The story has a near perfect blend of mystery, action, love and gore. My only complaint is it ended! And that ending!! It’s no secret, this is not a HEA, but I was NOT prepared. I balled my eyes out. Do yourselves a solid and grab yourself when this releases! You won’t regret it!

I’ve been sitting with this book for a few days now and all I can say is wow. I had the privilege of getting this one as an ARC and it truly couldn’t have come at a better time. It helped me welcome spooky season and end my September with a bang!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started this book. Azalea attends a senior party at her best friend's house, gets busted doing something she probably shouldn’t by her best friend's brother, leaves to go home, and then tragedy strikes at her friends' party. Azalea leaves for college, returns home a few years later...rekindles things with her best friend’s brother, Ryker. Both have been grieving in their own ways, after their mutual loss. Some odd things occur, unexplained murder, infections, mad scientist...disappearances...this does not end with a HEA; however, I really enjoyed the relationship between Azalea and Ryker. The love they have for each other is phenomenal. Quite a few spicy scenes thrown in as well. I also liked the news articles in the end too! I’d definitely recommend!

Azalea and Ryker's relationship was easily my favourite part. Its constant evolution throughout the story, their respective healing and heartbreak was beautiful. Their love for Remi was incredibly touching and added so much heart and emotional conflict to the book.
Also... the spice? Chapter 29 is sending me straight to hell and I regret absolutely nothing.
At around the 60% mark I was equal parts obsessed and utterly confused. What the hell were those things?! I couldn't turn the pages fast enough trying to figure it out.

This book was amazing. Had me hooked from the beginning, and all the twists and turns felt like going on an epic wild ride that I never wanted to end.
The author makes it clear this book doesn't have a happily ever after, but I want to echo that, but still the ending is wild. Again I just finished it and I'm sitting here in tears and shock, but I love when a book makes me feel intense emotions. If you want that, this book is for you 100%.

When I first started reading the prolog I wasnt to sure if I was going to like this book. However, by chapter 2 it got me interested and by chapter 3 I entered WTF territory, in a good way. There were moments where I would lose slight interest in the beginning but then something would happen that would draw me back in wanting to find out what was going to happen next. There was great twists and turns and had my jaw on the floor by the end. Great read.

Such a beautiful love story with so much heart break, and through it all they managed to come together and keep each other from completely falling apart. The spicy scenes in this story were HOT HOT 🥵 BUT THAT ENDING WAS MY GOD!! My heart feels so much love yet is devastated! Absolutely loved this book!
