I absolutely love the humor and the relationship between Debbie and her mom. And there is enough drama to keep the reader highly interested because Debbie has clearly lost her mind. I can't wait until part II!

i was the lucky winner of a copy of this book through a goodreads win. this is a short story about a girl who lives her life as characters in books she is currently reading. the focus of her current book is on a girl who falls in love with her cousin, so the main character, debbie, who is 10, thinks she is in love with her cousin, who is 17, who comes to visit. the cousin doesn't feel the same way. it is funny and sad at the same time with very rich prose. i would have liked to read a full lengt ...more

Hey everyone, thanks for the interest.

Currently, I live in Chicago Illinois with my husband and children. I work for Chicago Public Schools and I write on weekends. My goal is to publish yearly over the next few years.
