Good Read
While this was a good solid follow-up to the first story ,there was just something missing the magic I'm use to a Lucinda and John story.The many typos took away from the story I some critical points,a second set of eyes is a must.Overall this is a good solid story just not great.

Unrealistic
Ok I want to like this series but this mess is all over the place and somewhat unrealistic. I realize it's a book but damn......Also we were not told how Gunz died....he's just dead. Ok. And Dre's crazy psychotic ex living in the basement....ok. Dumb crap like this happens when there is more than one author.

Khalil and Bones too much
I like the book not as much as one.this book had me until Tissa took the baby to save her baby.Not cool.that was too grimy for me.Bones is MIA they had a funeral for him with no body.This book was too much not to be much.Maybe 3 will redeem

Goood!!!
Omg! I could not put this book down!!!!! I loved how Khalil and La 'tissa , Gunzell and Tosha went to war for each other! Both of their relationships were so lovable and intense! Great read! Lucinda Johnson never fails!

OMGoodness this book was everything! The thug loving that Khalil, Gunz, and Dre has given their ex's are more than they can handle.
While Khalil was incarcerated, Qua had Khalil baby. The baby was 5 years old. Qua, uses Khalil's child, as a token to get to Khalil anyway she cans. Also, she uses her daughter to get Khalil and her to be a family again. Qua is also Lori's best friend, and Ronnie's sister .Qua has the mentality that if she can't have Khalil, no one will. Being the thot that she is, Khalil would never take Qua seriously. Imagine her surprise when Khalil has moved on with Tissa. When in prison, Khalil was messing with the lady in charge at the prison, Belinda. There wasn't supposed to be any strings attached, just strictly sex, but she couldn't get enough of the d. Belinda ended up getting pregnant, and that's the last thing that Khalil needed. He knows that Tissa isn't going to take this news lightly. On top of that drama, he finds out the true identity of his biological father. When he seems to finally have it together, he's at war with his father.
Gunz ended up messing with Johanna long before he met Tosha. Johanna is a contract assassin, and also Khalil's biological sister. Johanna already had children, and Gunz doesn't have any knowledge that he's the father. Gunz and Khalil visits Oran, with their future wives, Tosha and Tissa. Tosha is Tissa's best friend. After the attitude from Johanna, she hits him with the baby news. The news creates drama between Tosha, Johanna and Khalil's father. Khalil is forced between his right hand, or his family. Who will Khalil choose?
Oneeka was the 1st person that gave Dre his 1st biological child. Tradegy happened, and Dre lost the child, which made Oneeka have a mental breakdown that she never recovered from. Some how she can't seem to move on with her life. She's definitely coo-coo for cocoa puffs, but Dre still has a soft spot for her. Oneeka can't deal with the fact that Dre has moved on with Lori. Dre wines and dines Lori, and shows her how a man is supposed to treat a woman. Will Dre get a happily ever after with Oneeka still in the picture?
Lori is Tissa's sister, and she wasn't the best, when it came to making decisions. Lori feel in love with Tosha ex-husband, Ronnie. Ronnie gets Lori pregnant, and once he moves her in, he treats Lori like trash. When the baby is born with a medical condition, due to all the abuse he gave Lori, he leaves her to fend for herself. Dre comes along, and mend Lori's broken heart. What will happen with Lori and Dre?

Drama filled
These couples are in for a long ride with all this drama. Drama from beginning to end. Kmoney and toss a still dealing with qua an Belinda old a** trying to separate them. Gunz and Trisha are good until Johanna causes problems when she tells gunz he's the father an leaves her kids on his doorstop. Lori tired of Ronnie an qua trying to hurt tissa,finally leaves but not before Ronnie almost beat her to death. Mustafa is sneaky an tries to cut gunz out but kmoney has his back an they take over his spots. Police,jealousy,backstabbing,and just downright craziness for a part 2 can't wait to see how the drama escalates next.

It just got real!
First I have to say part 3 needs to come real quick! There is so much going on I love that the author give you so much for your money. The couple go through up and down twists and turns but still stand behind one another. I love K-money and Tissa relationship they have a lot of bumps in the road and got side track but regrouped a got back on track. Tosha and Gunz are a great couple but in the next part we need to see what is really going on. And Lori? A must read!!

Blood Is Not Always Thicker Than Water!
I did guess that Mustafa was Khalil father, from the jump! Let this be a lesson to you regarding your relationships. If a man or woman put their hands on you once, they are going to do it again. You don't need anybody dictating your every move. This book was even better than the first, so with that said, you are going to have to read it for yourself. But trust me you are going to enjoy it. Ready for Book 3. Can't wait to see was really going on.

Lifeeee.... This book was fire from beginning to end. Mz Lady P & Lucinda John lawd yall tag teamed this vision to perfection. It flowed so well that I caught myself reading it slow to ensure I didn't miss anything. Yall definitely went above and beyond with this read. My favorite character definitely is La'Tissa. She gave me the epitome of loyal, a sister, role model, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire book. Still my 2 favorite authoress's for sure. Ready for part 3. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Page Turner!
This book had so many twist from beginning to end I couldn't put it down! Between crazy baby's mommas getting killed, wives getting wiser, and thugs getting killed. Everything went to the left in this book! Things were crazy! I wanted to know about what happened to Lori, if Tissa is going to be pregnant, if Gunz really dead, Tosha's pregnancy, if Musta is really dead, and what is going on with KMoney! Waiting for part 3.

Love it
I enjoyed this book. I couldn't remember part one but this was so good, I couldn't stop reading it. I was gonna go back and re-read the first part but oh well. I liked the fast paced action. All the females in the story are crazy. Guns and Khalil must be the shxx. They were good looking and more than street smart. But really? These women was using the kids as pawns. I like all the twists in the story too. I need part 3 like now.

very good as I expected. Glad Tissa got Belinda on behind. She was giving me a headache doing the most. Crazy how they handled Wayne but he deserved is. Johanna smh.... Gunz should've know next to take the chance going down there alone. I hope Lori is ok. Dre need to get a hold of that psychotic chick that's done popped up smh.

I loved how through everything they pulled it together. Glad that Belindas & Ronnies out of the way. Now that Johanna needs to be taken care of. I am wondering what is she doing to Guns. He is good for Tosha & she needs him. There was some errors & one particular one was when it should have been Guns name it kept saying Ronnie. Other than that ready for part 3 to get all my questions answered.

This was a good book. I hope Gunz is really not dead. Just MIA. I'm glad Belinda got what was coming to her. I hope Lori be ok. I hope Dre got there in time to save her. I can't believe they didn't know someone was staying in the basement.

I absolutely love the characters in this story! Lives filed with so much drama & love all at the same time! I'm so glad that K'Money & Tissa are doing good! I hope it's not to late for Lori since she finally got it together! Something tells me Gunz has a surprise for us all
