Wicca 101

I would have given this a higher rating if it amounted to more than 'if your interested in Wiccan, you need to do research and trust your instincts.' I am doing research by reading this book, and all it tells me is to do more research. It did have some good, but extremely beginner, information.

I enjoy reading about different religions and topics in general and I think this gave a fair description of the topic for beginners. While I don't think the belief is for me necessarily it did provide a good starting point for this belief. My biggest concerns with this book were the grammatical/spelling errors as well as it was too opinionated (I would have preferred it to be more text book and factual).

Thumbs Up

I liked it okay. I found it to be rather short and sweet. Im not sure how much I paid, it was probably free. If it where written on paper: I would have to state the author should keep it as a digital sale each time. It would be impossible to yank a million dollars while paying someone to fall the trees, make the paper, and print the book.

Which: sort of saves the forrest and makes it a happier world and place for most wiccans.

Opinion based book

While this was full of information I disliked the way the book was set up - it seemed like it was 2 of the same book into one ebook. I also strongly disagree with the information given for new wiccans. While some of the information was accurate, I don't think it's a good idea to try to get new wiccans into hiding who they are. This book encourages people to hide their spirituality.

Really nice for someonewho never had contact with anything about Wicca. It breaks down the bad stigma around it, which is great. However, it isn't really a great book about bringing it to your life, it's more a introdution of a book that would actually bring it, if you know what I mean.

This is very, very basic. I didn’t really learn anything at all. Don’t use this as a research tool; use it to help you decide if this is the right path for you. Because there’s not much in it that will actually teach you; it’ll just give a basic understanding of what it means and how it works.

Great book for a beginner.

This would a perfect gift for anyone raising a family and to gift their little ones. Also really great for anyone trying to figure out more about themselves and/or a starting point. It is a fantastic beginning summary of Wicca.

Great introduction. Wicca is about finding your inner power and believing and following nature. We came from the Earth so we should cherish and thank her. Being Spiritual is a blessing. History has warped the definitions of Wicca/Pagans - Man has warped it. So please research before judging. This is a great book to start with.
