of the second book from The seven forbidden arts series and i have to say it didn't seem a prequel

Aeromancist, The Beginning is a prequel novel to the second book of the series. I would suggest not reading this novel if you haven't read the series because I was heavily confused. But, it was extremely great at the same time if you don't care about the back story of the characters.

From my understanding, Lann the main character has some sort of power relating to weather and planes. That is as far as the author goes to explain him to new readers. I never really grasped what he could do, but it s

I was gifted my copy direct from the author.

Lann is an aeromancist, he controls the air. He hides for a month or two, in Santiago, with his previous books, and the solitude. When Katherine visits his library for her thesis work, she literally moves the air for him. He thought it a myth amongst his kind. When Lann offers Katherine 30 days to be at his beck and call, she doesn't refuse, but wonders will she ever be able to give him up??

This is the second in this series, The Forbidden Arts, and abo

Aeromancist: The Beginning is a prequel to what it will be a full lenght story. But let me tell you that if this is the beginning, OMG! I can't imagine the rest. This was a hell of a ride, full of emotion, tension, sexiness and romance.

This is the story of Lann Dréan, a sexy Russian who bought an ancient convent in Santiago (Chile) meant to be his refuge for a month. Then appear Katherine, an american student who uses his library for investigation purpose. When these two meet, s

Phenomenal plot, dialogue, character development and pace. The cherry on the cake was the end......Oh Charmaine well played drawing me into Lann and Kat's affair then leaving me to wonder.....after he see's her, will he leave her alone to get on with her life ?. GAH, I REALLY HOPE NOT !!

This is the second book in the Seven Forbidden Arts series. I loved it!

Lann Dréan is a complex character. I liked this man very much. He can come across as cool and aloof at times but, this hides his deeply felt emotions. He knows that if he lets his emotions out, his ability to control air could cause serious damage. He is intrigued with Katherine White, who visits the ex-convent (now Lann's home) looking for research material for her thesis. Determined to learn more about her, he dangles the o

Lann Drean is supposed to be cloned and on everyone woman's front door step. I keep opening the door but he's still not there. Darn it.

Pauls continues her elaborate tale of paranormal bad boys in her Seven Forbidden Arts series. It started with Pyromancist, the story of a firestarter and now, it careens into the life of Lann, the aeromancist (the power to manipulate air and weather). Kat is a self proclaimed daredevil who is finishing her all important studies when she is spotted by Lann in his

The Beginning tells us the start (obviously) of Lann and Katherine's relationship - oops, sorry, I mean 30-day contract. I'm not sure who Lann is trying to convince when he says it will only be for this amount of time, but I didn't believe him!

The relationship between Kat and Lann was instantly hot, but I loved that Kat was a strong female from the start, and wasn't just going to give in without at least a token resistance! There is plenty of steam within these pages, so be prepared for some hea

I have to say I was pulled in by this book by the cover, its hot sexy promises to be a good read. I was immediately pulled into the book and the storyline. The author did a fantastic job letting you get to know the characters and filling it with steamy erotica. I cannot wait to read the second book in the series since we left on somewhat of a cliffhanger, which promises another fantastic read. if you are a fan of erotica this book is for you. I am quite curious to learn more about the characters ...more

Drean Droolworthy!

The tales of paranormal Alpha males in the Seven Forbidden Arts series continues well with this book!!
Lann, the aeromancist meets Kat; the studious scholar looking to complete her work in his very own library. Lann is intellectual, handsome, rich and likes to lavish and pamper his women. He is immediately attracted to Kat and proceeds to offer her 30 days of unrivaled passion.

The story is a great beginning to Kat and Lann’s relationship. It’s very much Pretty Woman-esque and

Lann doesn't believe in fairytales. He knows there is no happily ever after. He doesn't do repeats. He certainly doesn't do girlfriends but something about this redhead has him compromising. He proposes an arrangement. He just needs her to accept it.

Lann is a mystery. He shares very little, yet, Katherine is drawn to him. Her sad love life and his pull on her make the decision for month. It's just sex, right?

If only it were that easy...

Aeromancist, The Beginning, is a beautifully written contract love affair novella.

Lann Dréan is a wealthy businessman with a dangerous past, who has purchased an ancient Chilean monastery to pursue his passion for old books. He is in the process of painstakingly repairing and refurbishing each delicate volume, with the intention of making the priceless treasures available to the public, when he spies a beautiful redhead who has come to his library to research her doctoral thesis. ***Note: Book provided by Author, in exchange I am providing an honest review***

This is Lann’s book and it is the first of two. I both liked and disliked Lann’s character. I appreciated his take charge attitude but did not like his stalker tendencies. As for Katherine, what can I say I found her pretty naive. Moving in with a guy you do not know and agreeing to be his sex slave is not the wisest thin one can do, yet she went ahead and did it just that! Katherine finds out that Lann knows everyth

Oh. My. Word. Lann (main male character) is one intense, provocative and delicious sounding character. He has been a part of the previous books, however he has - so far - been a calm enigma. We - the reader - find out so much more about him in this prequel story. I am so glad this was only the beginning, because there is so much more to the characters than what was revealed in this novella. There was an extraordinary amount of sexual content - so be warned. That's more or less what it's all abou ...more

Currently on Amazon if you purchase this book as a digital download you will get book 4!! I was very excited to read about Lann and Kat but got the story of Maya and Tim. With in the first 3 pages of reading book 4 (unknowingly) I had a complete synopsis of Lann and Kat's whole story!! I was so bummed!! So just buyer beware!!! I reported this issue to Amazon, but if you buy this book and it starts out with a Tim and not a Lann don't read any further!!!
